Labyrinth Drei: Triple the Snek

(A continuation of the last thread. This is relatively standalone, though, so hop in.)

What was once a jewelry shop has become a large, lumpy stone with only the door of the original building remaining. Precious gems stick out of the sides. Some people have already taken some, judging by some chipped-at holes in the rock.

*Hibki walks up* Be ready for the sprits huh. I guess I'm as ready as ever. *He opens the door and walks in* Anyone here? I'm just here to talk.

Hundred-S

ooc: sorry for the delay!

ic: Emerald eyes greet Hibki, and a stone tail sweeps him inwards and away from the exit. A mouth with a glowing green inside opens and-

A mighty screech shakes the ground as a ruby-eyed snake with flaming cracks in its stone body rams into Emerald Soul. The emerald snake retreats down the stairs.

Ruby Soul hisses and stares down Hibki. Its body seems severely damaged, but that only fuels its fury.

HibkiKuze

Whoa, are you guys okay? I'm guessing I have to fight right?

Hundred-S

Ruby Soul lets out a rapid stream of clicks and hisses. Looks like it's ready to burn the human to cinders.

Umm, okay then. I'm sorry then. *Hibki casts a bufudyne on Ruby Soul*

Hundred-S

The Bufudyne is super effective! Poor snek. (700/3000 HP)

Ruby Soul casts Eigaon, hitting for heavy Curse.

Ugh, that hurts. I need some crowd control for two bosses at once. How about a holy dance!

*Gamma sighs as he looks upon the once-storefront*
Wonder what god has a hand in this one? Not that it matters I guess. Either way, nothing else for me to do.
*Gamma looks around once more, seeing no one outside, and enters the door*

Hundred-S

Emerald Soul is long gone, having been scared by Ruby Soul.

Ruby Soul takes two hits, taking him down to 500 HP.

Ruby Soul casts Maragidyne, hitting!

Hundred-S

Gamma is greeted with a certain kid in a white hoodie fighting a ruby-eyed, flaming stone snake. You know, the usual.

HibkiKuze

You know what, it's time for you to chill out! *Hibki throws another Bufudyne then cringes at his pun*

Bgammax

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head, a bored expression on his face*
Kuze? Why am I not even surprised at this point. Let me guess, you could use some help?
Shiranui, Diamond Dust.
*6 spears of ice form in the air before launching themselves straight at the snake*

Hundred-S

Ruby Soul stares straight at Hibki, in physical pain from that pun. And it soon feels physical pain from both ice attacks. Its stone form shatters, and from the rubble rises a fire snake... that's actually really small. It flies around the two and puffs out tiny smoke clouds in an effort to seem scary.

Thanks Gamma. Well I guess we go further in. Do you want to go up or down to the basement. We could always split up and go both ways.

Laharl

*Laharl appears out of nowhere*
So, I heard I can get some screen time if I came here.

Bgammax

We're splitting up. But first I need to go all "Snake Whisperer" I guess. I dunno, its a talent of mine.
*Gamma walks over to the tiny snake, obviously unimpressed*
You gonna calm down enough to talk to us little guy? Or do you want some more?

HibkiKuze

Don't make us put you in your place to cool out. *He facepalms* make me stop the puns.

Bgammax

*Gamma looks over to Laharl*
Oh hey, your just in time. I'm trying to talk to a snake. You wouldn't happen to know snake, would you? I'm only good with English

Hundred-S

The fire snake clicks at Laharl, then speaks to Gamma in a bunch of nonsensical clicks and hisses.

Vines begin to creep up from the basement. That's... not normal.

Bgammax

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head*
Well then.... Not sure how to proceed from here. I'm only good with snakes that can speak English, usually in a raspy voice. I guess we're gonna have to ignore it.

Laharl

Damn right I do!
*Laharl begins to hiss at the snake, saying "Hey, snake, wanna be my slave?"

Bgammax

*Gamma looks between Laharl and the snake, baffled*
Wait... What? I was being sarcastic....
Well, looks like we have an actual translator now. So.... That's awesome. I guess.

HibkiKuze

Well, I'll take the basement. I have Agidyne to help with the vines when we start exploring. That and I've already been there.

Hundred-S

The snake clicks and hisses at Laharl. It's not speaking snake, but it's evident that it's annoyed by what the demon said.

HibkiKuze

Wait a minute! Here. *Hibki gets out his phone and turns on the demons summoning apps translator* Can you hear me now?

Hundred-S

The snake clicks and hisses again, still unintelligible. It nips at the vines to set them ablaze. Good job, snake.

Laharl

*Laharl just growls at the snake*
Doesn't seem like he wants to talk. How about I just kill him instead?

Bgammax

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head*
You two protags have fun with the snake. I'm going to go upstairs, and when you're done you can explore down, cool?

Hundred-S

ooc: ...gotta go for the night. School and stuff. Almost forget how early I have to slep now... I'll start this up tomorrow at an earlier time.

HibkiKuze

Man. *He uses a few Bufus to put out the fire* You need to chill. *He face palms again* I'm heading downstairs. *He walks into the basement*

Hundred-S

With a new day, the door is slightly open. A tiny, fiery snake peeks out at the outside world.

HibkiKuze

*Hibki returns making sure that his demon translator is working today* Oh there you are. Sorry about the puns yesterday. Are we going to have a civilized conversation or no?

Hundred-S

Still more clicks and hisses from the snake. What language is it even speaking? It ducks back into the labyrinth.

Vines have already taken over the ground floor. Also, water is trickling down from upstairs.

{The young man notices the structure and tilts his head at the sight.}

Well this is new.

{He approaches the door and attempts to open it.}

Hey, anybody home?

Hundred-S

Tai is greeted with the sight of a rocky interior overtaken by vines. There are two sets of stairs: one leading upwards with water trickling down, and another leading downwards where the vines are coming up from.

Oh, and for some reason, a tiny snake made of fire is hissing at the vines. Some of them are already burned to cinders.

Tai

{Tai approaches the creature.}

Hey there buddy, what's wrong?

Hundred-S

The fire snake lets out a series of clicks and hisses before nipping at the vines again. Its body flares up as it glares at the invasive plants.

Iwai_

*Iwai kicks open the door and stares at the snake creature, his jaw dropped.*

Hundred-S

The tiny snake floats up towards Iwai and circles his head. He seems to like him. Either that, or he wants to chew a hat.

Iwai_

*Iwai stands still in shock, not even moving his face.*

Hundred-S

The fire snake lets out some happy clicks and hisses as it tries to gnaw Iwai's hat with its fiery teeth. Yep, it definitely liked the hat.

Laharl

*Laharl drops a meteor on the snake that failed to communicate with him earlier*
This is what you get when you ignore MY demands! Hahahahahahahahhahaha

Iwai_

*I stare up for a moment, the looking back down at my feet.*

Hundred-S

The meteor simply passes through the snake. It hisses as its body re-forms and floats towards the vines leading downstairs.

Iwai_

*Iwai unslings his duffle bag off his back then grabbing a old looking ak, loading airsoft pellets, Iwai then slings his duffle bag onto his back, following the snake.*

Hundred-S

Down the stairs is a lush forest. Walls of vines block out the "sunlight." Emerald eyes of a stone snake gleam from a gap in the plants. The small fire snake hisses at it.

Laharl

This sucks!
*Laharl goes to sleep*

Iwai_

*Iwai looks around, aiming his AK around, then slowly walking towards the two snakes.*

Hundred-S

A whispery voice echoes in Iwai's head as the stone snake... moves. It slithers into the open and looks down at Iwai.

Iwai_

*Iwai unloads his magazine, unzipping his duffle bag, pulling out his real bullets, loading them in.*

Iwai_

*Iwai then slowly follows the stone snake, moving very carefully.*

Hundred-S

The stone snake rises to its full height.

ooc: Don't worry, Ruby Soul/fire snek shall help! You'd be screwed otherwise.

Hundred-S

ooc: ...but first, food

*Iwai aims at the snakes eyes, burst firing 9 rounds aiming for the snakes eyes.*

Iwai_

*I attempt to do a tactical retreat and fall back near the stairs.*

Tai

{Tai finally follows the man downstairs after suffering from a minor aneurysm. He crouches beside the man.}

Yo. Name's Tai. Need any help?

Iwai_

*Iwai glances towards Tai, then nods, Iwai turns and aims, slowly walking down the stairs.*

Hundred-S

ooc: back. food was good.

ic: The snake takes the hits like a champ. It doesn't even seem hurt.

[magarudyne]

A few tornadoes are sent out. They're not enough to damage the two severely, but they are sent away from the stairs, which vines quickly cover. Looks like an arena, folks!

The small fire snake nudges Iwai's gun and clicks.

Tai

{He grins and grabs a device off his belt.}

Don't mind if we do then!

A: Let's do it Tai!

{A small voice chimes in from the device as it begins to shine.}

AGUMON, REALIZE!

{From the device shoots a beam of light that show 0s and 1s in the air taking shape as a small figure. With a sevond flash of light, the previous shape is now filled in and in the spot stands a small yellow dinosaur, it looks towards the enemy through narrowed eyes.}

A: PEPPER BREATH!

{He leaps towards the snake and unleashes a trio of fireballs at it.}

Tai

{Tai is forced to guard from the winds and is tossed aside, unable to assist Agumon immediately.}

Tai

{Light fire damage x3}

Iwai_

*Iwai takes out a convient katana and some duct tape, then taping the katana onto the end of the Ak, Iwai then leaps towards the snake, charging in with a angry look on his face.*

Hundred-S

Two of the fireballs hit, with one burning Emerald Soul! (2800/3000)

The snake doesn't even notice Iwai's attack... until the fiery snake engulfs the blade, allowing it to slice the stone scales. (2650/3000)

[charge]

Emerald Soul's body glows with a strange energy... yet the flames still lick at him. (2550/3000)

...Ikebu is on the other side of the vines at the moment. The battle going on is intense, though.

Iwai_

*I rush at the snake, running and gunning firing off 15 shots aiming for the mouth, then charging with the katana.*

*pulls out comp* summon Ose

*Ose is summoned*

Cut the vines

*Ose swings his sword at the vines*

The fiery snake assists Iwai's attacks, coating them in flame. The bullets hit the stone body, yet it slithers out of the katana's way. (2400/3000)

The vines are cut.

Everyone is hit with the Charged attack, with the snake's tail sweeping Iwai off the ground for a crit!

*Iwai slowly recovers, Iwai decides to head back more. Iwai attempts to mimic the snakes movements to better understand the snakes movement pattern.*

The snake moves in a predictable pattern, yet it has a lot of force behind its movements. It seems to focus only on the opponents that are an immediate threat. Such as the one using Agidyne. Iwai's acc/evade up!

*Iwai leaps towards the snake and attempts to mount it, if succesfull, Iwai pulls out the katana and begins to stab into the snakes back.*

Tai

{Tai rises from the ground and dusts himself off.}

Agumon, keep it up! You got this!

{Tai attempts to pull the snakes attention by running behind it. Agumon meanwhile launches another attack.}

A: BABY CLAW!

{Agumon's claws begin glowing bright as he launches a flurry of strikes at the snake's head.}

Ose's acc/evade rises!

Baby Claw... actually heals the snake. (2250/3000)

Iwai's attempt is successful! The fiery serpent surrounds his sword to let it do damage! (2100/3000)

In its rage, Emerald Soul hits Ose!

*Decarabia Casts Tetrakarn on the party*

Better hope this doesnt heal it.. or at least that the snake doesnt uses magic

A: New plan. Don't do that.

{Tai jumps away from the snake to avoid being collateral damage.}

Alright Agumon, stick with fire!

A: On it!

{The small dino's throat and maw begin to glow a bright orange.}

A: BABY BURNER!

{A stream of flame erupts from Agumon's mouth.}

{Medium fire damage.}

*Iwai attempts to topple the snake by going to its side and pushing his katana down on the snakes eyes.*

ooc: back for the tail end of this fight! ...no pun intended.

Baby Burner hits, and even sets the snake ablaze! (1900/3000)

Ikebu rushes in, protected by Tetrakarn.

Green tornadoes hit Ose, Ikebu, Decarabia, and Agumon. Emerald Soul shakes Iwai off, but one of its eyes is broken from the katana and the fiery snake assisting said weapon. (1400/3000)

A: Heavy thoughts, heavy tho-Woah!!

{Agumon is flung by the green tornado and is sent careening into Tai. The weight of Agumon sends Tai downward and the pair sit on the ground for a moment.}

Agumon. Off please...owowowow...

A: Sorry Tai!

{Agumon hops off and Tai stands up, the duo looking at the snake and at their surroundings.}

There isn't enough room to digivolve...guess Rookie is all we got Agumon!

A: Kuwagamon couldn't beat a Rookie level Digimon and neither will this digidummy!

{Agumon runs towards the snakes head and jumps into the air.}

A: PEPPER BREATH!

{The volley of fireballs is launched towards the snake, aiming for the right eye.}

*lands on feet* Decarabia, Concentrate

*Ose uses Tarukaja on Decarabia*

Iwai_

*Iwai falls off the snake, then stand still up, dusting himself off, he brings out his Ak ejecting the old magazine, as it falls to the ground he pulls out an incendiary clip from his back pocket, spinning it in the air, then inserting the magizine, then pulling the bolt. Iwai then goes full-auto firing off all 30 bullets straight into the snake, dealing heavy fire damage

*Iwai chuckles as he fires off.*

*I walk on the scene wondering what's going on*

Hundred-S

Decarabia's powered up! This'll be good!

The first and second fireballs hit its body, but the third hits its remaining eye! It screeches and goes into a blind rage! Turn frequency up! (1100/3000)

25 bullets hit, for the sake of my sanity. The snake's stone hide shatters upon impact. (350/3000)

Emerald Soul lets out two Deathbounds, the latter of which strikes twice. Each attack...

Strike 1: Hits everyone but Ikebu. Decarabia is protected but the reflect heals Emerald Soul. (450/3000)

Strike 3: Hits everyone but Ikebu.

{The intense volley of flame is launched at the space that Iwai opened up.}

*I walk up to tai and use a gunflame at the Target he is fighting joining the fight*

Emerald Soul springs towards Agumon, but the other attacks knock him off balance. Just in time for the digimon's fire attack to pierce the hole in his scales.

The snake shatters into countless pieces, and a small, green, whispy snake rises from the rubble. It hisses at Agumon, but cowers as the small fire snake angrily clicks at it.

Tai

{Agumon eyes the wispy figure angrily before returning to Tai's side.}

A: Hang in there Tai!

(So I can join the fight?)

Iwai_

*Iwai takes a very, very deep breath, then he sighs.* Well, shit.

Ikebu_Kuro

*smirks* Return Decarabia and Ose

*Decarabia And Ose get sent back into the comp*

Iwai_

*Iwai walks towards the green snake carefully, with his Ak on his left and his katana on the right.*

Hundred-S

ooc: fight over dood

ic: The vines wither and die, and the soil of the forest slowly becomes more damp...

At the sound of something rumbling in the distance, Ruby Soul and Emerald Soul fly up the stairs.

A few clicks and hisses from Ruby Soul.

*I chuckle, then motioning the snake to come with me, or die.*

{Agumon deadlifts the unconscious Tai and leaves the building after nodding to snale friend.}
