Fanfiction can be a good thing, if you know how to write a story and able to keep it good throughout the story. However, many people who write fan fiction make it too much about the main MC, too much about a certain thing like a fetish, or make the story very sloppy.

I'm a quality freak. If it does it's job well, I like it. This counts things that are made to be hilariously bad, like Sharknado, or Hitler x Jesus.

I enjoy it, as long as it's readable and actually seems interesting. However, bad fanfics are a guilty pleasure of mine, such as Starkit's Prophcy.
