Bad Moon Rising
*Above a tiny bridge in the woods lies a bright red moon. Rushing water courses past the bridge as the eerie red light of the moon reflects upon the water. A few people can be seen passing across the bridge while others simply bend down and place a lock on the bridge. The poles of the bridge are covered in a variety of locks both new and old as if detailing history itself. * *The sign at the mouth of the bridge states ...* Wishing Bridge - Please put your most earnest wish on a lock and allow for it to consume the blessed red gleam of the moon. Only honest desires wanted.

*Laharl writes "I want to be the most powerful being in exsistence"* Make this come true or i'll drop a meteor on this bridge!

(Sensing Laharl's murderous intent the water from beneath the bride rises up in a massive crescent and provides him with ...) (A fake crown from burger king and a note saying "sorry".)

*Gamma walks by the bridge, looking down at the waters. He soon notices the sign and sighs* Another one of those weird superstitions eh? Too bad I don't have a lock. I could use a little luck right now. *shrugs* Guess there's nothing for it. Maybe I can find one nearby? *Gamma looks around for any souveneir stores in the area*

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! *Filled with rage, Laharl drops a meteor on the bridge*

"Hahahaha! Nope!" [A Birb flies up to the meteor and pulls out a sword before slicing it into unrecognizable pieces of dust.] "Another bridge saved, bird man aaaaawwaaaay!" [The Birb flies away into the sunset.]

(Upon looking around Gamma find a tiny debilitates store at the other side of the bridge. The store appears to be open yet no movement can be seen from the windows.) (Laharl's meteor instantly destroys the bridge leaving a massive crater behind but the red light of the moon shines upon the crater. Within seconds the bridge has fixed itself through the blessed light of the red moon.)

(A random woman watches from the mountain.) Woman: Hmm the weather forecast did not call for two meteors. (The random woman then rubs her eyes and no longer sees the meteors.) Woman: Huh I must have had too much to drink.

Hahahahahahahahahahaba! Well, if I can't destroy this bridge, then i'll just destroy the moon! *Laharl goes to the surface of the red moon*

*Gamma looks up at where the bird-man was and blinks a few times* Wow.... He really is a nice guy. I hope he's learned to use doors. Um... Now that... That's out of the way, I guess its time to see if anyone's home. *Gamma walks over to the store, and tries to open the door, and if it opens, he yells inside* Hello, anyone here? I see you don't get much business, in spite of the landmark.

*Space_Cat is walking towards the bridge, when he suddenly notices the sign.* Huh, neat.

(Once on the surface of the moon Laharl sees a nice looking mansion with a pool and golf course.) (After opening the door and yelling inside Gamma is able to see movement from behind the darkened counter. The store itself is not in the best condition and yet it happens to be filled to the brim with all sorts of crappy moon souvenirs. As he continues to study the shop a dark figure moves behind Gamma and lifts up a hatchet.)

*Gamma walks forward, entirely unaware of the dark figure, glancing to his sides for a lock as he moves to the back of the counter* Hello? I know someone's in here. You can come out. Its not like you get customers every day.

*Laharl drops a friggin meteor on the mansion*

(Gamma finds a lock on the left shelf that also happens to hold Demonic Pentagrams for kids and Red Moon sand. Letting out a low dissapointed whine the dark figure following behind Gamma decides to change tactics and simply taps on his shoulder. The eyes of the figure then glow red and it lifts a hatchet in preparation.) (The mansion is easily crushed by the meteor and once the ashes clear Lahral is able to see a group of elderly monsters lying on the ground.)

*Thinking what to wish for to tell if it actually works* Hmmm.... I wish for a Medical Kit, please!

*Gamma waves off the figure's hand while he reaches for the lock* Wait a minute man, I'm getting a souvenir. Not like I'm going to steal anything. *After grabbing the lock, Gamma sighs and turns around, noticing the figure's hatchet* Ok, yeah, that's.... Shiranui, Dormina. *Gamma's persona flares into life around him and rushes towards the figure in an attempt to put them to sleep*

*Looks around more...* How could I miss some buildings around here..?

(Water from beneath the bridge once again rises and crashes up the bridge. Once the water recedes a high tech medical kit can be seen complete with tranquilizer guns and a plague mask.) (Another set of red eyes gleam from above the dark figure canceling out the sleep effect. However, the figure ends up falling back in surprise and crashing against a shelf containing fake space ooze and some astronaut food. The self falls along with the darkened figure.)

Woah things are definitely getting interesting and yet dangerous... At least I have some medicine with me.

(Laharl's throw is successful since the monster is already old and weakened. Within seconds Laharl has managed to gain a new subject for his soon to be empire.*

*Gamma steps back, taking his staff of his back while he reaches for a kid's pentagram* Ok, what's going on here? Only guy I know who can stop magic is Lux. And he's definitely not here. Would be pretty obvious. Care to explain why you're attacking me in a gift shop? Shiranui. *Gamma attempts to summon his persona again, as he points his staff at the figure*

Ooc: Would you mind describing the monster for me? I can't really use it if I have nothing to refer to when using attacks.

*Kazuya's eyes widen in surprise as he sees how one of the wishes become a reality right in front of him. But he shakes his head and walks forwards, going past the bridge and on his way to the shop.* T-This is just fishy, I doubt it's something too terrible but still... *He finally makes his way to the shop and hears the ruckus going on inside of it. He decides to open the door immediately, although with some anxiety.* Hello, I'm Kazuya! *Says in really exaggerated tone.*

(The dark figure snaps it's fingers and suddenly the store is filled with light once again. The light reveals that the figure is ....) (A very nervous blue haired girl holding a tiny red eyed, black snake in her arms.) *She nervously laughs* We were just testing you ... *She quickly mutters* Please don't kill me Gamma! I was only having fun!

*Looks at the medical kit and the lucky extra equipment* I should see what this ruckus is about over there... *puts on the plague mask on just in case*

*Gamma breathes a sigh of relief and drops the star, while putting his staff back on his back* Ok... Not a big deal. Just don't surprise me like that. *Gamma smiles* Besides, I wouldn't kill anyone if I could avoid it. Still, glad it was you two. We have quite a bit we could talk ab.... *Gamma looks up upon hearing Kazuya* out later. *waves* Hey Kaz. Its been a while hasn't it? What brings you all the way out here?

(As Lahral stares at his newly captured equine victim that glows with a silver hue. A voice speaks inside his head...) That is the legendary moon captive known as unicorn. (The voice sighs.) Not a very creative name I know but her kind were not really the brightest. Since you probably plan on using her in battles or other curious endeavors it is recommended that you treat her kindly. An eternity trapped on the moon has damaged her poor mind leaving her with only crappy healing skills and a stabby horn attack.

*Kazuya waves with a smile at the group, although he just glares for a few seconds at the snake.* Hello hello Pinky and Ene! It's been a few days, yeah? I've been a little busy, preparing for the tournament and also dealing with stuff at the Rift, y'know?

*She looks up at Kaz from her position on the floor* Oh hey friend! *She offers an excited wave*

Well, there's only one way to make her strong again... Through a hundred years of harsh punishing training! *Laharl laughs maniacally for 17 Ha's*

(Answering to the call of Akamoto's wish the water once again rises and falls upon the bridge. Once it recedes a basket full of mewling dragons is revealed just for Akamoto's wish making pleasure.)

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head, walking closer to Ene and Kaz* The name's not Pinky, as I'm sure you're aware. And you never answered my question. *Gamma grins* What brings you all the way out here? Kinda surprised you're not on the bridge. I guess you were just looking for a lock too? This shop has them, but it seems mostly abandoned. Just Ene and I here. Well, and Snake-chan too.

*She stands up from the floor picking up Snake-chan along the way* *She then wipes off some dust from her clothing* We have been busy preparing for that tournament too! Isn't that right best friend! *Snake-chan offers a strange look to Kaz* *She then notices Micah and waves* Hey person I haven't met yet! What happens to bring you here?

Well, even though I saw one of the wishes turn into reality... I'm not really interested in things like "dreams" or "wishes", the ones I have can only be achieved by hard work. *Kazuya chuckles for a bit before sitting on the floor.* It was tempting though! *After this, he turns around and notices Micah, and is surprised by the new face.* Hey, I don't think I've seen you aroudn before! I'm Kazuya, and you are...?

Uh, Micah... And I have no idea how I got here to this bridge.. I guess I was following the blood moon?

*walks to the bridge during his nightly walk and sees the sign* Huh? Honest desires......

(Unbeknownst to all inside the shop the lock outside on the bridge glow for a second and afterwards the moon appears even brighter.) (Meanwhile, the surface of the moon tremors a bit as it glows brighter and a few cracks appear on the ground.)

*Gamma chuckles and shakes his head* Well then, hello Micah. I'd imagine you walked here. I mean, isn't that how most people get around? Never mind. Just don't get too nervous kid. Relax, have a good time. Everything will work out.

*Teleports back* Y'know...... I wonder if this grants more than one wish....... That could be dangerous.....

Wait blood moon ...? *She tilts her head in confusion* The moon looks pretty normal to me.
Kazuya
Wait, you mean you didn't see the big, eerie red moon outside...? *He turns to the snake.* Is this your doing...?
Laharl
Now, I just remembered what I came here to do. *Laharl flies away from the moon for a bit and draws a huge sword. He slashes the sword vertically and creates a gigantic pulse of demon energy, which gets sent towards the moon at an incredible speed, attempting to split the moon in half*

*Gamma sighs and puts his hand on Kaz's shoulder* Dude, blood moons happen all the time. Its probably nothing special. No reason to blame Ene's friend for it. *Gamma shrugs* Isn't Tatsuya supposed to be the paranoid one? Aren't I supposed to be cold and unfriendly? *chuckle* You're acting like both right now.

Huh... I'll try to relax. The blood moon is caused by a lunar eclipse after all.

*She backs away slowly as Snake-chan offers Kaz a passive expression* H-Hey be nice to my best friend. He gets really shy and can't really speak to people. *A nervous smile appears on her face as she makes it to the door* I'll just take another looksie outside.

I kinda relate to your friend as well...

(Laharl's strike manages to approach the moon but before it can impact a strange force of energy appears instantly dissolving the strike in a shower of red particles.)

*Looks up* W-what's that?!

I'm sorry for being like this, but the last time the snake got involved with her, she almost died on us. *Kazuya sighs and stands up, doing his best to relax and keeping his smile.* I can't be a "good person" to someone like this, but I'll do my best.

*She steps out of the shop and squints at the moon* *She is still unable to see the blood moon* Hmm I really don't know what you guys are talking about ... *She shrugs* But things look fine to me.

*Gamma sighs and tries to bring Kaz along outside* Look, if the moon is really such a concern to you, we can go look at it. But really, don't worry about the snake. I think you've got enough on your mind as is. *grins* Especially since I'm going to have to beat you in the tournament. *If Kaz comes along, Gamma looks up at the moon and sighs* Well, if I remember correctly that "Laharl" kid flew up there, so you might have seen something from him. But the moon's pretty much normal man.

*Steps outside* Odd...

*Laharl gasps at the strange forcefield* Damnit, moon! I'm gonna pass a bill to make the sun eclippse you! *Laharl flies away from the moon, then back down to the (earth?) in incredible speed. He burns up in the atmosphere then falls through the roof of the store that everyone is in, landing directly on Gamma*

*As Gamma has walked outside the store, Laharl can't land on him inside the store. Gamma briefly looks at the broken roof and sighs* Well, that's either bird-man or the kid. Either way I'm sure they're fine.

Oh okay, but it's dangerous you know? And uh, Gamma? Are you alright?
Kazuya
It's good you have that much confidence, you're not weak or a bluffer, so I'll have to be careful around you...that is if I get through Ene first. Hah, it's a good thing I've seen what you guys can do, or at the very least part of it. *He follows Gamma outside and looks up to the moon. He is still distrustful of the snake, but sighs and, once again, does his best to let it go.* Geez...I dunno, the whole subject of this "Snake and Ene" brings some bad memories, honestly...I'll go away, I'm...sorry.

(The moon being well a moon says nothing and continues to emit red particles from the impact. The red particles now begin to fall upon the bridge and the group as if it were snowing. Yet unlike snow the particles have an interesting effect upon anything living.) (Upon touching a plant the particle appears to make it grow with usual features such as teeth and vines. While the grass itself begins to light up with fire upon particle contact.)

(The water is once again triggered by Bona's wish and after it's usual reaction a box of kittens are left behind on the bridge.)

Yeah, from my sword. *Laharl launches a sword beam, similar to his last one, at the store, in an attmept to cause it to get ripped in half and collapse in on itself*

*She notices Akamoto and offers him a thumbs up* Things are very cool right now friend! *She holds up the gesture until Snake-chan bites her forcing her back* *Her hand instantly rubs on her now bitten ear* Oww what was that for ... *Where she once stood now lies an inflamed patch of grass*

*Gamma briefly glances at Snake-chan, before looking back at Laharl and sighing* I see you're a fan of destroying things. Well, it'll be interesting to see you actually fight when the tourney starts. Try not to tire yourself out before then.

Wait...I remember now! *Kazuya turns to Ene and places both hands on her shoulders with a big smile on his face.* Ene, I need to talk to you and it's important, do you mind if we go somewhere more private?

*Gamma casts Kazuya a sideways glance and sighs* No offense, but I don't really trust you with Snake-chan here. Considering how you flipped out earlier. And I've kind of been in line for a private chat. *Gamma then turns to Kaz and Ene, with a smile* If you do go aside, I hope none of you mind if I follow along, just to be on the safe side.

Sure friend! *She drags Kaz over to a blue door and presents it* This room here will give us all the privacy that we need. *Snake-Chan's eyes momentarily glow red as her smile widens a bit* But first a little parting gift ... *She snaps her fingers and then leads Kaz into the room*

(Ene's finger snap momentarily alters the space.) (Laharl successfully manages to saw a poor old souvenir store with his sword beam leaving it in shambles. More red particles spring up from the ruins of the shop as the moon now glows bright enough to turn the entire area red. The particles eventually land all over creating the same area effect but the increase of moonlight appears to now have a different effect. The locals that had been wandering around the bridge area now appear to be fighting each other for the most inane reasons and the wildlife appears to be undergoing similar effects.)

Ooh, is this privacy? As a demon it's my job to ignore that! *Laharl listens closely to Ene and Kaz's conversation, hiding behind a bush as he slowly follkws them*

............. *observes the effects around him* Lunacy?

*He looks at Ene with confusion and certain distrust as he goes into the room.* Parting gift? What do you mean...? *He then shakes his head and keeps smiling.* Well, actually it's about Kalib, I wanted to ask some things...!

(The new room that Ene leads Kaz into looks like a tiny living space equipped with a large tv, a couch, and a table full of snacks. The door to the room still remains open as if waiting for one more person.)

*Laharl bursts through the door in camuflougue and blends in with the wall so that no one sees him*

*Gamma follows the two to the door, and walks inside with a sigh* Thanks for waiting up for me guys. Really, it was a pleasure. I don't really care whatever you talk about, I'd just like to be here, for safety's sake of course.

*Kazuya looks around the room and keeps a satisfied smile. He decides to make his way to the couch and sit down, now looks directly at Ene.* So anyway, about Kalib... Why are you "avoiding" him? Did he do something bad or rude or something?

(Once the extra two guests enter the door closes leaving behind the rest of the group in the midst of insanity. The people that once fought each other now turn to the rest of the group by the bridge and the water beneath the bridge grows wild.)

*Laharl discretely makes a clever remark in a way that no one would notice* *cough*fourofus*cough*

*Gamma sighs at Laharl's remark and looks over to Pika* Five of us, actually. Geeze, no wonder its so hard to get a private conversation. *shrugs* Honestly though kid, its probably going to be super boring for you. Sounds like relationship problems to me. Still, I may as well stick around.

*She gives Kaz a confused look* I'm not avoiding anyone. I have just been kind of busy with Snake-Chan's birthday and this gift for him. *She turns on the tv with the remote and what is occurring outside shows up on the tv* This time around the world took a bit longer to make.

*Laharls glances towards Gamma* I mean, i've never had a relationship before so I really wouldn't know. The only reason i'm here is just to bother you.

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* That's really petty and specific. Especially since you walked in ahead of me. I'm pretty sure you can't be here to annoy me. Probably just curious. And you haven't had a relationship, so you probably don't really care about it. Not that complicated Kid.

Are you sure, then? Nothing wrong with him at all? Even after that one kiss the other time? *Kazuya rubs the back of his head as he turns to the TV.* Wait...gift...? Wait, is this the virtual reality again...?

(As the odd locals approach the outside group members the moon's shine reaches its peak creating a frightening scene. The river now becoming a mess of frothing water completes a scene already in the midst of chaos through the sudden insanity of flora and fauna. The plants have now become very unwieldy while the local wildlife has turned almost berserk in nature. The locals are not that much better having turned into insane zombies.)

So you guys are in some tournament, right? And you are like rivals or... And virtual reality? You been in one, Kazuya?

*Laharl's eyes turn red and catch on fire as he yells at Gamma* Stop using logic against me!

The kiss was nothing in the face of friendship. *She finally looks at Kaz with glee as he starts asking questions* Yep the world you see on this screen is all of my creation! *She dreamily sighs* Isn't it just wonderful!

*Kazuya turns to the TV for a moment and then back at Ene.* But why? Why are you doing this...? If I remember correctly, the things created in your world cane be really dangerous, Akamoto and Micah could be in danger out there...!

(Even after becoming a frothy mess the river still grants Akamoto's wish by leaving him with a pair of tranquilizers and ballet uniforms.) (Picking up sticks, rocks, and other types of junk the locals finally reach Miach and Akamoto. Only to wait there staring at the two as if needing some sort of command or input.)

Fine, whatever. *Laharl takes a nap on the couch*

*She shrugs as Snake-Chan looks up at Kaz with interest* Friend I already told you this was just a simple birthday gift. Of course the two of them won't get hurt ... *She points to the screen and smiles* As long as they manage to surpass expectations. *Snake-Chan flicks his tail*

Pfft! Oh boy..... I ain't doing ballet... Umm...... *Tosses the ballet uniforms on the ground* Someone come up here and dance.

(Receiving the needed command the locals advance toward Akamoto and Miach with weapons raised and hands outstretched.)

*Gamma shrugs and looks back to Kaz, briefly glancing at the snake as he turns* Well, I didn't expect suggesting a nap to work. But it is what it is. Besides, this is one of Ene's worlds, right? If anything too major happens, they can always just stop it. No need to throw a fit or anything.

But if they don't...! *Kazuya facepalms and lets out an exasperated sigh.* A simple birthday gift that can end in injury...? I didn't know you were this sadistic, I know you used to be a bit of an ass as Takane but... *He looks up to Ene and the snake once more.* Is this really the ony gift he will take...? What is it that he actually wants?

*Gamma sighs and shakes his head* This is hardly a new idea. Both for Ene and for the world. She had Mig and I run an obstacle course featuring actual floods and typhoons for a "be a man" thing. Sure, there's a bit of danger Kaz, but its nothing major. Back in the day there'd be actual gladiator fights, to the death and all. Now THOSE were dangerous. Comparatively, this is nothing. Its like the tourney we're participating in, except with fakes to take the fall.

*She tilts her head in confusion* Snake-Chan just wanted a fun and exciting birthday gift friend. Why are you so suspicious of him? *Snake-Chan quickly glares at Kaz and then returns to his viewing* *Her eyes then narrow on Kaz as she pouts* You know i'm beginning to think your not really a friend of mine. Not like Gamma at least or that guy. *She offhandedly points at Laharl*

(A small group of locals suddenly break from the pack and charge at Akamoto while carrying sticks of the flaming variety. One of them tosses a stick at Akamoto in an attempt to burn him.) (The rest of the group advance toward Micah with one lady in particular wearing a nice summer dress while carrying a bloodied knife. The lady being at the lead of the group swings down her knife toward Micah.)

I can't simply take this after what happened to Jackman, and almost happened to everyone else because of this little sneaky bastard...! *Kazuya mutters as he watches the screen with both fists clenched. His heart is racing and he feels as if something, a feeling is getting more and more difficult to supress.* I'm just going to watch and listen, for now... But..."Fun and exciting"...? *Kazuya thinks of something to do, anything.*

*Pulls out scythe, watching the locals for any sign of hesitation*

*catches the flaming stick and throws it back, warping a distance away and begins firing into the crowd* Really? A stick? That's all?

Well the lady has a bloodied knife, they prove to be dangerous.... We need to be careful no matter what!

*Snake-Chan picks up on Kaz's behavior and hears Gamma's recommendation* *Her eyes meet Snake-Chan's and she forces on a smile while facing Kaz* Yeah what Gamma said. *Her words take on a certain tension* If watching the show is so difficult for you then why don't you just go help the participants then. Seeing you fight will probably make this gift even better! *Her tone suddenly drops as she gives Kaz a look of finality* Friend.
Kazuya
*Kazuya grits his teeth and glares at the snake, completely avoiding Ene's gaze. After this he prepares a wooden sword and walks towards the door.* Alright then, let's do it. *He now stands in front of the door and sighs.* You know Gamma, for someone who shits so much on people for their "bonds" and how useless they are, you sure put a lot of effort on making them with the snake. It's kind of funny. *His voice sounds really serious as he moves his head from side to side, making a cracking noise.*
Ene
(The locals appear momentarily confused by Akamoto's movements and have little time to react as he begins to hit them with shots. As he keeps firing dark circles of blood on random points for each local yet they continues to move as a horde with two targets in mind. Akamoto and Miach.) (Taking advantage of Miach's inattentiveness the lady swings down her knife inflicting slash damage at Miach's left arm.)

*Shinji rushes into the crowd, easily warping away from every attack, gracefully swinging his scythe, making a show of it, in what could only be called a dance of death*

*She lazily snaps her fingers and the door opens for Kaz* Now go on and be a hero nice guy! *She then turns her focus back on the tv as Snake-Chan motions for Gamma to sit on the couch*

*Gamma sighs and walks over to the couch, gently easing Laharl off of it and onto a nearby cushion, he glances back at Kaz* I've always said its a bad idea to get attached to anyone. That doesn't mean I can't be nice. *shrugs* Besides, I seem to have some kinda gift with snakes.

OOC: @Micah This is an action part, where you'd want to use something to indicate what you're character's doing as well as what they're saying. For example *Micah attempts to back away from the crowd, using their medicine kit to bandage their cut* There are many ways to seperate actions and words, just find one you like and stick with it.

I seriously hate violence, it's such a drag... *Kazuya steps out and head towards the group with the wooden sword, and then takes the sword on his back, using it on his left hand in a reverse grip. The sword is still shealted.* But if I have to use it, then I have to make it showy...! *Kazuya rushes at the group with both swords, concentrating to hit them in specific spots and as fast as he can, just to avoid killing. He tries to get as much of the group as he possibly can, but focusing on the ones close to Micah.*
Ene
(Shinji's dance of death easily lives up to it's name as he quickly slashes at the horde with a nice sequence of movements. Within seconds most of the locals are missing a limb or two while some are even spread on the ground as a mess of human body parts. Only a few still move toward Akamoto as the other half of the horde finally advance upon Micah.) (The lady once again slashes at Micah this time going for slash damage at the right arm. The rest form a circle as if waiting for the chance to get at Micah after the lady.)

*Laharl squirms around in his sleep as he moans slightly* ...uh-ehm... *Laharls begins to start muttering* ...L-... love...

(Kaz manages to drop the locals at the edge of the circle with a series of planned movements but some of the ones he hits manage to recover and aim for his feet.)

*Finishes off the rest trying to get at him, trying to be as flashy as possible, clearly enjoying himself* Aww... is that all there is?
Micah
*Micah decides to use some of the medical it's supplies, and used some bandaids to try to stop the bleeding. While getting some new darts* Darn it, my weapon isn't so good right now... Screw comatosing, I have to use Paralytic now!

*She curiously looks at Lahral* Love? Hmm I wonder what he could possibly be dreaming of ... *Meanwhile, Snake-Chan makes his way over to Laharl only to sit on him*
Kazuya
Damn it...! *Kazuya barely even moves away as he was distracted.* I really don't want to kill anything, but I guess I'll have to...! *Kazuya rushes once again and repeats the same movement, trying to hit weak points as harder than before.* ...keep trying...!

*Gamma sighs and looks over to the snake* Didn't we have something to talk about, that might be a bit more important than messing with the kid? Who knows when the next chance will pop up.

(As if responding to Akamoto's need for a fight some of the locals split off from the circle and shamble their way over to him. The circle around Miach thins a bit due to this but the remaining locals close in around him. The lady being given free reign to strike once again angles her knife.) (With greater focus Kaz now manages to drop even more locals until he reaches the inner circle where Miach is. The locals he strikes at while not dead do not manage to get up again having been knocked out cold.)

(Ene remains fixated on the tv as the violence plays out. A small smile appears on her face as she takes in all the combat while her entire body appears to tremble with excitement. As she does all this her dear Snake-Chan finally looks up at Gamma with both ivory fangs out.) (He finally speaks while continuing to sit on the kid.) Snake-Chan: Can't you just let one poor reptile have his day. (His tails swings at a lazy pace as if matching his red gaze.) Snake-Chan: This is my little party treat after all and I plan to enjoy it.

*Kazuya rushes at the lady and attempt to knock her out cold, as well as any possible nearby threat.* I'm sorry you had to deal with this alone, but everything is fine now, why? *Kazuya tries to give Micah a reassuring smile.* Because we're here!

*Gamma shrugs and looks at the TV and watches* Suit yourself then. I was under the impression you were interested. My mistake.

*Micah smiles back while trying to give everyone some medicine* Thank you, guys, I'm normally a Healer. I don't don't much fighting at all. Heck, I don't even have a Persona.

(Snake-Chan navigates his way to Gamma and curls up on him.) Snake-Chan: I am interested but one shouldn't talk about business until the actual show starts. (Snake-Chan looks up at Ene and his red eyes shine.) Snake-Chan: My dear do you mind starting the main event our ally is getting bored. (Ene meets Snake-Chan's eyes and instantly perks up.) Of course anything for my best friend! (Ene then snaps her fingers and then once again falls into her stupor.)

*Warps to Kazuya and Micah* Hey, don't sweat it, I don't have one either. *pulls out Grimoire and begins firing lightning bolts at anything hostile that he sees*

(With the combined efforts of both Kaz and Akamoto the locals are soon subdued save for a tiny group of them. Unlike the previous groups this local squad walks over the bodies of their fallen comrades and toward the center of the bridge. This squad then waits at the center as the moon glows such a bright red that it is unable to be seen anymore with the naked eye.) (This time the glow does not appear to outwardly affect anything but now Kaz, Akamoto, and Miach feel a sudden spark in them. This spark screams of victory and tells them to finish off the group at the center of the bridge in order to seal it.)

*Gamma sighs and shrugs* Last I checked business was typically handled away from the show. Though personally, I don't really care what you do in your free time. I'm a very practical person. And I do believe you can offer me something no one else can. Kazuya mentioned it, I don't usually work with others. *grins* But I've made exceptions before, and am willing to do so again. If its worth my while of course.

*Micah puts away the medical kit with the tranquilizer gun back inside* Oh really? I thought I was alone.

*Kazuya places his sword back on his back, but keeps his wooden sword in his right, looking at the group with suspicion, regardless of the sudden feeling of victory.* It's always 50/50 with this girl, geez...

C'mon! I'm on an adrenaline rush! Attack! Gimme justification! I wanna fight! *Shinji waits, watching in anticipation for the group to become hostile, the screams in his mind causing him to become increasingly impatient*

(Snake-Chan narrows his eyes at Gamma.) Snake-Chan: What is it that you desire human? I know how greedy your species can be when it comes to wishes. (Meanwhile, the group of locals continue to appear complacent and even normal now. As the voice speaking to each member of the party continues to grow louder and more insistent. The voice calls for an ending spectacle filled with violence and glory for the victor.) (Ene continues to watch the screen and mutters under her breath.) Just like Rome.

*Kazuya closes both eyes with annoyance, and puts away his wooden sword.* I'm not into violence. *The young man crosses both arms and stands on his place.*

*Gamma grins and looks back at the snake* I'm glad you understand me. Truth is, I don't want much of anything from you. Rather, I would like to help you, in exchange for one small favor. Potential favor, really. There's some chance you'll never have to lift a finger. You and the others of your kind have some ability to.... Interfere when someone dies, correct? At least, that's my understanding of it. Based on... Rumor's I've heard. Well, I most certainly have no plans on dying anytime soon. But considering what some of my other... Obligations are planning it would be nice to have a safety net ready. Consider it a plan B for if things go terribly awry for me. Of course, any information regarding this interesting ability is vitally important for me, as you may understand.

(Snake-Chan's natural glare relaxes as he begins to laugh.) Snake-Chan: For someone so smart that is really all you want!? I can easily do that ask without lifting my tail! (Ene begins to follow suit and soon the two of them are on the floor gasping for air.) Snake-Chan: I won't be able to tell you about my ability for personal reasons but know that I can help you when it comes to death. (Snake-Chan slowly begins to recover from his fit and glares up at Gamma.) Snake-Chan: However for such a favor I want you to take all suspicion off the girl. I can't really enjoy my new life with all these annoying people you see.

*Laharl continues to mutter words in his sleep* ...destroy... ...world...

*Gamma continues smiling at the snake, almost as though nothing had happened* You make it sound like it should be such an easy task. well, as we both know, some of them are familiar with you. I don't think they'll readily accept your presence. I could, perhaps, give them something else to focus on. If you are willing to act along. But that is a very temporary solution. But if you have any good ideas then I'm willing to listen.

(The voice within the group momentarily quiets down as a series of agonizing screams emit from the group of locals on the bridge. These locals grasp their heads or fall to their knees as their screams only grow more shrill and pained.) (The voice comes in with even more force then before but this time instead of speaking about glory it speaks of mercy. The voices cries for the group to put the poor hapless locals out of their misery.) (Watching this from the room Ene grow bored and tosses the remote against the wall.) Ugh since when were human beings so boring.

(Snake-Chan slithers onto Ene's lap once more.) Snake-Chan: Well the humans will have to accept me since I do not intend on leaving anytime soon. (His tongue flicks as he says this and he then focuses his intense red eyes on Gamma.) Snake-Chan: I will play along with whatever you have planned for I know little about these idiots.

Oh, one last question then. Are they aware of what you can do? With your eyes, of course. I can understand you not wanting to reveal it. But well, they're already willing to think of me as a villain. If we work this right, you can come out looking quite a bit better.. It might be worth giving up a little information for freedom of movement, yes?

Snake, Ene, you can push me all you want to kill them, but I won't. *Kazuya doesn't move for a while with his arms crossed, his choice was already made. He then turns around and begins to walk towards the door.* Mere words are not enough.

(Snake-Chan takes a second to think.) Snake-Chan: Hmm only some of them know of my eyes but they mainly believe that I lack any form of power now. (Ene suddenly straightens and Snake-Chan begins to curl up.) Snake-Chan: I will consider your proposal but for now we must stop. (As Snake-Chan feigns a lazy air Ene snaps her fingers causing the doors to once again open.)

*Kazuya steps through the doorway, and looks at the group inside with a dead serious expression, although it changes almost immediately to a carefree smile.* That was easy, I hope it was entertaining enough!

(With the mood long lost the remaining locals return to normal and go about their daily business as if nothing out of the ordinary occurred. The moon reverts to its original hue as the flora and fauna become docile again. Once again creating the image of a serene bridge as the remaining evidence slowly fades from existence.)

*She claps with absolute joy as Snake-Chan gives a final thoughtful look to Gamma* Bravo friend! That certainly was an entertaining spectacle! *She glances thoughtfully at the tv* Although I still feel like you could have done so much more. *She offers Kaz a victory gesture* You know something to really feel the win!

Taking lives for the entertainment of another is something I don't do unless I find no other choice, who do you take me for? *Kazuya laughs for a bit.* So, is that all there is for now? Or does the little guy want more "carnage"?

After a few seconds, a rift appears in front of him and Kazuya steps through if, closing itself right after he goes through. And with this, Kazuya is gone.*
