Flash Back Time
Kamashi's Flashback I can't believe I can't host a party for when the exams are over. Its so unfair to me and my fellow students, we deserve to have some fun and not stress out over our scores. Maybe I should make something, like a huge cake! Actually...I don't know how to make a cake by myself, I always had my chiefs make deserts. Maybe I should ask someone for advice. Oh! Yuna is over their, I can ask her! "Yuna! I really need help right now!" I said in a very exaggerated voice. "O-Oh what is it?" Yuna replied startled by my sudden outburst. "I need some advice on how to show my appreciation to a lot of people."I said, trying not to give away what my real intention was. "Oh um...how about you give out cookies? Everyone likes them." Yuna replied with a smile. "That's a great idea! Thanks so much!" I took Yunas hand and shook them vigorously and went off to find someone who knew a lot about cookies. Because to be honest I don't.
Character details, eh? Nice! Also, I've been compiling the thread links for an eventual wiki page, just so you're know.
When I got to the cooking club room I peeked inside to see if anyone was in there. There was a girl sitting down in front of a oven, maybe she is waiting on something to cook? I opened the door and the girl turned around and was surprised to see someone enter. I ran over to her and panted, "Can you cook cookies!" "H-Huh, cookies? I can cook cookies very well." Said the girl surprised by my sudden outburst. "Good, then start cooking!" I said as I pointed a finger at her. "W-Why, and who even are you! " She said in a angry tone. "Its for a good cause, trust me." I winked and flashed a thumbs up. ".......Ok..." She said confused. She then got up and went to get everything she needed and sat back down. I pulled up a chair and sat next to her. "So whats you're name?" I asked as I watched her work. "I'm Miki Rondoji, I am a sophomore." Miki said as she started to make the batter. "I'm Kamashi Yomishi, I'm a Junior and- oh can you add chocolate chips too?" I said as I remembered that the cookies just HAD to have chocolate chips. "Oh OK, I'll go get them." Miki got up and walked over to the pantry to get chocolate chips. When she came back she set the chips down and continued to work. "So how long have you been cooking?" I ask, trying to start a conversation. "I have been cooking my whole life, I want to own my own restaurant when I graduate." She said as she started to blend everything together. "Oh that's nice." I said and- RIP
I rip out the page I was writing on angrily and crumble it up and throw it in the fire. No one want's to read about a happy moment in a dead persons life. Its to happy, and boring. Well...unless its about their back story. But lets face it, no one really cares about this dead side character that was only used to give a small hint on how the world the other characters are trapped in work. The readers care more about a character with a more tragic backstory that involves something tragic! Like for example, "When I was 5... a mob killed my whole family, except for me." Now that's a good a good none original back story right?
when you break the 4th wall
any feedback?
That fourth wall break gave me the chills... And also makes me wonder who the narrator was. An excellent chapter ending!
