Heard of it being done, but my schools never did it.

I did it in Physics, we made a cube of sorts with a ton of rubber bands to take the force.

I have some funny stories about this in middle school. I made one with a USA motif, yet the boxes I used had "made in China" on them. And best of all, my friend did nothing but brag about his contraption about how his egg would never break in it, etc. His very first and only launch, he forgot to strap it in and it went flying right out of it. Splat. Hilarious.
