What was the first game you ever played?
We are mostly gamers here, after all... if we were not we wouldn't have been drawn here. It's safe to assume that most people here have played Persona 5 in one way or another and heard of this place and decided to investigate. So that brings me to my topic... what was your first game? What was the game that brought you into this mess? While my memory is a bit foggy, my first game was The Lion King for SNES. No, I still haven't beaten it. It's a fairly brutal game.
OOOOH, this is memory jogging...I think my first game was, ummmmmmmmm, Ultimate Spider-Man or Star wars Battlefront II
First game, we’ll, first game I can remember anyways, was probably Pokemon Blue, my Dad played the game while he was growing up so it was still around, of course, as like a 7 year-old I was very bad at it, but he was willing to help and perform the tedious level grinding that was often necessary to allow a child to get much of anywhere.
I want to say Super Mario 64 but I'm not really sure. It was either that or Donkey Kong Country.
First game I can remember playing is 1080 Snowboarding on the N64
ooooh Pokemon crystal. My cousin gave me his game boy sp back in 2006 he never told me how to play so I got stuck in a Pokemon center for an hour. Then a friend told me what to do so I managed to finish the game. after that I got my ps2 and wii with Zelda tp and p3
I don't remember my first video game. You'd think since I'm 16 I'd have a much better memory of my first video game compared to someone in there twenties. But I was like 3 years old when I played my first game. If I had to guess I'd say it was either Star Wars Rebel Assault for windows 98 or Some kind of car game for the Sega Dreamcast. But my earliest gaming memory I do have is playing halo and crazy taxi 3 on the og xbox
I'm not entirely sure, but I think my first game was Spyro: Year of the Dragon. I played it all the time when I was younger. I couldn't even beat the first boss, but still enjoyed it, and my dad helped me with some parts that smol me couldn't beat.
Pretty sure it was Crash Bandicoot.
Milo's. Astro. Lanes. I win for worst first game ever.
I think it's either Spyro the Dragon, Wild Arms, or Bushido Blade. Can't remember, but they're the earliest games I have memories of. Yes, there is quite a leap between them, I know.
It was either Super Mario Bros for NES or Crash Bandicoot
The first one ever, huh? Wow... Hmm... this probably goes back to one of my first times ever using a computer at all, which was very early 90s. I believe it was the PC port of the NES Teenage Mutant Turtles game. I sucked so hard at it, despite playing it constantly. After that, I soon discovered all the 'free' 8-bit games included with Windows 95-98 that I played all the time, along with lots of DOS games that I played both at home and even at school, which I was always a fan of. My first real gaming experience though was when I got another PC port of Rayman 1 when I was above 10ish, and that was my first real gaming experience where I played it all the time and was obsessed. I even did grinding in it, which is something I still very much do. I could never beat it back then. Walkthroughs. What are those?
Mine was that old game called "Adventure" I think it's called that... But you are just a square and you are going around a maze solving puzzles. Never beat it, sadly. I remember it was on the Atari
Kirby air ride. Much action, very fun's.
Grandia, still one of my fav rpgs and beautiful for it's time.
Gin
I think it was Crash 1 for the PS1. Either that or the X-men fighting game on the Game Boy Colour.
Earliest I can remember is my sister's Pokemon Blue. Not exactly my first, but I can't remember that far back and I'm not gonna try.
