Conclusion at the Alternative
[This time, the call was made right in the middle of the beautiful Inokashira Park. It’s calm, very calm and even lonely. This beautiful Green is more apparent with the Golden rays of sunlight showering it, and creating gentle sparkles on the ponds. The Crimson Red bridges only add to this display of natural beauty, leading the group to their final rendezvous point, the base of a single tree. It didn’t show any incredible feature, nothing special. Just a Purple notebook, opened on its last page. “Last Part” it read. This is it. The moment they decided to go in there, go back to the Alternative, it would end at last.]
A Primarina approaches the notebook and picks it up in a flipper. She can't read it, but she can tell this is the last page... and the end. She just had to hope for the best.
[The decision was made, and the notebook, as usual, turned Prima into a younger (Perhaps more humanlike) version of herself, walking down the streets of 1992’s Tokyo, right after saving Yuka’s life. The notebook remained near the tree at present time, waiting for the remaining "players". The city, contrary to what they may have seen before, is not empty anymore. People are walking down the street and some give the group a nasty look as they pass by, others one of admiration and others simply ignore them. They are right in front of the Underground Mall entrance. The entire group will definitely be going to Doppel Bar and quickly discuss their next course of action. But Yuji appeared to be restless; he kept looking at a faraway aura, a golden one, perhaps telling him to go towards Shibuya. Takeshi takes notice of this as Yuka, Kazuya and Ryoko go down. Takeshi simply places a hand on his shoulder and follows the trio. Yuji, then, walks in that direction.] Yuji: “I must do this”
Something's changed here for the better... but enough dwelling on that. That aura is connected to Yuji and herself, so she can't ignore it either. I'll come, too. I have a feeling something important is... wherever we're going. She speeds up a little to catch up with him, then falls into a steady pace just behind her friend.
[Yuji turns aroudn to face Prima and smiled at the girl. He was happy and relieved he could trust her with this.] Yuji: "Where we are going...is the Shibuya Crossing, the last place Yuka was seen...and I feel we'll find her there." [He then looks ahead and keeps walking. Hoping this strange gut feeling was right.]
With the aura and Yuji's confidence in this, Prima's believing this as well. She checks her gun once more, in case they had to fight yet another demon, then looks up at the path ahead. Hopefully she's alright... No, I'm sure she is. There's no reason to hurt her if they found the Yuka they were looking for.
Yuji: "With that sacrifice, I slightly doubt she will perfectly fine after this...cover ups will always happen." [As Prima follows Yuji and after walking a few blocks, they find themselves in the middle of the famous Shibuya Crossing. Hundreds of people are walking and the giant screen is airing the news. Some people appeared to be commenting on the earlier event that happened live. One man from staff appears on screen and gives the news anchor a new piece of paper, which he reads with a worried expression.] News 1: “I’ve been informed of a special message incoming directly from Commander Gotou’s headquarters. It will be to inform the general populace of the recent events that have been occurring all around Tokyo, including the live “sacrifice”. Please pay close attention.” Yuji: “One would think this message would’ve been done a few days ago already. Why now?”
Who knows? Maybe they've been trying to keep it quiet...? She's not sure herself. She looks up at the screen, more interested in the news than the delayed announcement.
*Ruka picks up a strange note book and examines it* "Last page"?
OOC: I don't wanna be that guy but uh...this thing has been closed for a while, so...a grand total of other two specific people can join this. Sorry Ruka ---- [The screen changes to the insides of an office, where a man with very short hair and authoritative face is standing proudly, and firmly.] Gotou: “I am Gotou, Commander of the Armed Forces. And leader of the country in this time of martial law!” [The man speaks with his rigorous voice, powerful and clear.] Gotou: “Civilization as we know it has rotter to its very core! This is because it’s very roots are founded in the exploitation and abuse of this great planet, Gaia! Meanwhile, the hatred and mistreatment brewing between fellow humans eats away at our own existence like a cancer! In such a world so filled with prejudice, poverty, and war, we need help, and so we have awakened to the ancient gods known as “demons” to aid us!” [The people that had stopped to listen to this one in a lifetime moment had really interesting faces, some anger, disbelief, joy, excitement…but most of them, fear an dread. They were all speechless, as if nothing but death was closer than ever before.] Gotou: “We have done so to help prepare ourselves for the true danger, a heinous scheme being plotted behind the scenes: the Japan Obliteration Project! There are those who plan to destroy our country in order to lay the foundations for a new, totalitarian regime that will enslave humanity under the iron fist of a cruel dictator! In order to stop this mad conspiracy, the gods of old have lent their power to us! When it has been broken, they shall help us establish a new Utopia, where humanity and demonkind shall live side by side in happiness!” [Now people were talking, including even the police officers and some American soldiers passing by. Absolute chaos as people moves quicker than before, even in a rush. Policemen tried their best to calm the situation but they were failing. In the crowd, a girl of the same age as Yuji moves into an alleyway, only covering her face in a hoodie. One of the American soldiers notices this though, and alerts the others to follow her. Yuji apparently recognized the hoodie itself, and quickly runs through the crowd, towards the alleyway, and towards the unknown girl.] Yuji: “It could be…!” [This could be Yuka, but Prima also sees another girl running towards the right street, avoiding the military completely thanks to the other girl running into the alleyway.]
OoC: Ah well. No problem.
Another girl? It could be Yuka as well... But if she and Yuji split up, then he'd be alone. W-wait for me! She dashes after him, making a mental note of what direction the other girl ran in.
[The alleyway is dark and narrow. Yuji is hiding behind some crates as two soldiers are forcefully interrogating the girl, while another one keeps guard. Given Prima‘s position, it’s impossible to be seen. Yuji looks at her and has an anxious expression on his face, both for the lack of hiding spot Prima has and the girl’s identity. This was it, this is Yuka, Yuji’s girlfriend. What will you do?] Soldier 1: "Are you named Yuka? Answer me, is it you!?" Yuka: "N-No, it's not me...!" Soldier 2: "The physical description matches yours. Tell us, is it you!?"
Prima ducks behind the nearest object, peeking out at the three. Taking them on right away could get Yuka hurt in the process... Perhaps a little trick was in order? She forms a small shard of ice in her hand and tosses it towards the far side of the alley, letting it shatter loudly just as it is about to land.
[A distraction, good thinking. One of the soldier walked towards the far side of the alley to check and now only one of the soldiers was annoying the poor Yuka, meanwhile another had it's sight at the direction where Prima and Yuji were. Good thing they are hiding.] Yuji: “The guard is still looking…” [Yuji was paying attention to the guarding soldier through the reflection of a window. They were well armed and even worse, the guarding soldier was ready to shoot at any given moment. To approach from the front could mean getting gunned down, but not doing anything may lead to Yuka being taken away. It’s probable these soldiers haven’t gotten the memo that the real Yuka was captured. Yuji, luckily, also had a calm expression through all of this. The words Prima said to him had a deep effect, if she hadn’t said anything back then, he would’ve jumped in, and would be dead right now, or badly hurt at best. His mind was blank though, as his girlfriend was suffering, and he tried to keep his own impulses in check. Yuji gave Prima a look of absolute trust; he knew she could help somehow, and her earlier distraction proved this to him.]
They couldn't go out in the open. That much was certain. Prima takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. That distraction had been a trick her regular form had used, although with ice instead of water. Perhaps she could try something a little like that. She forms a few smaller chunks of ice, then holds up one and lets it break up into small bits, almost like a powder. She then looks over at Yuji, as if telling him to act after she threw these "pseudo-smoke bombs."
(edited by PrimPrim)
[Yuji, the serious law hero smirked at this idea. He understood, and so, he began to charge up energy around him. A golden aura was surrounding him, and so, he gave her a thumbs up. He was ready to go.] Yuji: "Turbo Arrow." [He whispered.]
Prima nods sharply, then grips the ice chunks with both hands. She throws them at the guard, putting all her focus into shattering the ice into that same cloud of ice shards.
All three Soldiers: "What the hell!?" [The distraction was made and was absolutely successful. Yuji moved as fast as the wind, quickly knocking out cold the two soldiers next to the poor girl, and in quick succession, he attacked the soldier that was coming back with a powerful Garula. The poor girl didn’t know what just happened, but when Yuji quickly moves in to hug her, she breaks down, crying.] Yuji: “it’s okay now, it’s okay, I’m here, Yuka.” Yuka: “Oh god, Yuji!” [Her tears were even more now. They weren’t of fear and terror though; they were tears of relief and happiness.] Yuka: “I’m so glad to see you! I thought the soldiers would get me and then b-be sent to Gotou and…oh god, I’ve been so scared, and running away and hiding…!” Yuji: “I’m here now, and I won’t leave you again, you hear me? I crossed all of Tokyo just to see you…I’m just happy you’re alive.”
(edited by Kazuya)
That... Worked... Prima lets out a sigh of relief and steps out of her hiding place. She just stands back and watches. Best to not interrupt their little moment.
[But as this sweet moment moves forward, their re encounter is cut short. The world around them quickly turns into a white void, where no one but Yuji and Prima are in. This white voice quickly shifts its form. They are surrounded by an infinite black. Crimson orbs float around the apparent arena. All of them are connected to one another. Some are evaporating as certain points transform into spherical worlds, others are wiped by a giant laser, coming from some kind of space ship. Other, more close to their space, are victims of hundreds of missiles, burning away entire continents. Those were the ICBMs at their full strength, killing thousands in one simple move. Welcome to the Amala Network.] Yuji: “I cannot believe what I’m seeing…just what is this place…?”
What... It takes a few moments to just let this all sink in. Prima steps towards one of the orbs. It's like a small world... It's like a... network of possibilities.
???: “This is what is known as the Amala Network. It connects all with everything, into the Great Will. I’ve come with a holy task given to me by non-other than Him.” [The one who made itself present to them was Uriel, one of the four heralds of God. He was gracefully floating above them, looking down on them and casting a powerful shadow. He had one angelical smile, but his aura seemed so corrupt, an blinding gold.] Uriel: “You must know my name already, for our presence is a sign of salvation, sung by the righteous souls themselves. Like you two. Him, in His infinite forgiveness has given you one choice, for you embody His ideal.. You can surrender; leave this world at once, and never comeback. While you, Yuji, you stop interfering with His plans, and you will find eternal peace alongside your loved one.” [Light covers his angelical body.] Uriel: “Tokyo, and this rotten world must die, so the Millennium Kingdom can bloom. What do you say?”
(edited by Kazuya)
Prima is too stunned to speak at first. This being has the power of... something like a legendary. Even if they fought, how could they...? But she promised Kaz to see this through to the end. And to let innocents die... how could she ever live with that? Sorry, but... Her grip tightens on her gun as she looks up at Uriel. I'm afraid I can't do that. I hope you understand.
Yuji: “I want an utopia where everyone can live in peace and harmony, it has always been my only wish…but to take so many lives, that goes against my own beliefs…I cannot allow it!” [The mighty Uriel was disappointed by their choice. With an angelical fury, Uriel opened his wings.] Uriel: “…This indeed is a saddening resolution. But in the name of God, I shall cast you down to hell!” [The angels moves forward to attack Yuji with his sword, but the young man managed to avoid the hit, immediately followed by him attacking with powerful winds. Uriel, however, doesn't seem faced at all] Yuji: "W-What!?" Uriel: "It's useless."
Wind. Something in Prim's mind clicks as Wind=Flying-type=Weak to ice, and she raises a hand. Bufu! A shard of ice flies towards the angel, shattering into sharp shards as usual.
[But this isn't pokemon. Uriel smashes the Ice shard before it even hits him. He is completely unfazed by this and with one powerful flap of his wings, he flies at her with a Jump Kick, aimed right towards her stomach.] Uriel: "This weak magic will never defeat me!"
Prima, caught off-guard, tries to dodge, although the kick still connects. She's sent flying to the ground a few feet away. She wheezes and shakily lifts up her gun through her daze, firing twice at the angel. It's not clear whether she's aiming for the body or the wings. She's kind of firing just to hit the guy, to be honest.
[The bullets are being effective though! Uriel gets more hurt than he ever has been and falls to the ground. With some difficulty, he manages to stand up and attacks with a powerful magical wind. Magarula.] Uriel: "I will not tolerate this insolence. Fall to your knees and accept your doom!" [Yuji however is barely affected by this. And so, he moves a few meters away, behind Uriel and changes the entire ammunition type he had. He needed some time, and nods to Prima so she's ready when the time comes.]
Prima takes this attack better than the kick. It still affects her more than Yuji, but she braces herself against the wind and shakily gets to her feet, still trying to regain her breath. She nods to Yuji, then raises her gun again, firing at the angel's wings.
[Uriel is heavily hit by Prima's bullets once more, and due to the shots, he is unable to fly for a while. The angel finally lost his temper and charges up a barrier to protect himself from any possible harm that may come. Tetrakarn.] Uriel: "Come on and try, you will see that your sins will make you pay...!" [But he couldn't keep going. He received a powerful blast to its back. Yuji just attacked him with a special kind of bullet that blinds the one getting hit. However, the bullets were repelled and hit Yuji, blinding him momentarily. Uriel takes the chance to mock him.] Uriel: "Foolish Messiah. He had such great hopes for you, but no you will have to taste eternal damnation!" [Yuji smirks and shouts now that Uriel was distracted.] Yuji: "Eliminate him!"
On it! Taking this opportunity, Prima shoots at the angel with all she's got, not stopping until either he falls or the bullets run out. The gunfire makes her ears ring, but that's not stopping her.
Tatsu walks into the area and stares down at the book, last part huh... Well then The Wheel Of Fate is turning. He reaches down and grabs the book. Taking one final look at it before waiting for whatever may come... Hopefully things will continue as well as they have been.
[Prima's quick reaction and powerful bullets were raining on him without mercy.] Yuji: "Yes!" Uriel: "N-No! Stop! If you don't...! [But Uriel had fallen to her powerful attacks and couldn't continue with his preachiness] Uriel: "He said...if Yuji's Yuka was killed, then he would join our side...it was just a girl...why then...!?" Yuji: "I believe in the messians.. But I will never agree with a world built by death, fear and pain. I will help create a true utopia, built by human's hard work." [Yuji was not blind anymore, and saying this, he walked towards the angel, and places a single shot on his head. The angel had fallen and his unconscious body was nowhere to be seen anymore, and so were the entire worlds consuming themselves to ashes. The blinding aura of golden power slowly took the form of some kind of pistol, then slowly into a Desert Eagle of pure white, with some golden drawings of heavenly beings around it. It fell on Prima’s hands, and the moment she touched it, she could feel the information entering her brain. This is a modified Desert Eagle, the “Tundra Seal”, this gun was special, in the sense that it actually managed to shoot light bullets. Essentially making but Gun and Light damage, as well as Ice thrown into the mix, as the grip had some kind of temperature sensor, which, using magic, could be able to create frozen bullets of pure light. They were back in front of the entrance to the Underground Mall. Kazuya, Yuka, Takeshi and Ryoko go down the stairs and towards Doppel Bar, to discuss their plan.] Yuji: “I don’t quite get it yet but…Yuka is fine, I know she will be now, no matter what. It’s something I can’t really explain…” [Yuji looks towards the direction where the aura used to be and smiled calmly. He didn't feel that uneasiness anymore.] Yuji: "Thanks for taking care of me, Prima!"
I guess whatever we did helped her out... And you're welcome. I'm just glad everything turned out alright. She smiles at him, then looks down at the strange pistol. She doesn't quite get it, but it feels... right for her, somehow. Now let's catch up to the others, shall we?
Raidou hurries in after the others, followed as usual by Gouto. He seems to notice something different about Yuji and Prima, however he doesn't pry.
[Now with the team assembed, they finally move inside the Resistance filled bar. Yuka stands in front of the cheering men and women, asking for a moment of silence so she could speak. All of them stayed quiet as Yuka cleared her throat.] Yuka: “Kazuya, Yuji, Takeshi, Ryoko, Tatsuya, Prima and Raidou, I owe you my life, Thank you so much! Not only did you save my life, but you saved our last hope of saving Tokyo from destruction.” Kazuya: "I-It was nothing..." Takeshi: "We just did what we could." Yuji: "It was the right thing." Ryoko: "......You are so cool."
You're welcome.... and I'm glad everything worked out. The seal-turned-human bows a little.
(edited by PrimPrim)
Tatsu shrugs and absently looks around before reaching to his blade. Paying more attention to his new sword than anything else. "Yeah no problem, now then since we're all here I guess it's time to think about what we're doing next or something? I'm not totally sure anymore so let's get it figured out."
Raidou bows respectfully, Gouto seems to stiffle a laugh at how rigid his partner tends to be in situations like these. "T'was nothin'. We're glad to have been able to help, but now we're a bit lost on what our next move should be. There're those bastards with nukes of course, but you're in charge."
[Yuka looks at the group with a warm smile, and then at the man with long hair and mustache. The Resistance man then walks forward with some big papers. Two resistance soldiers move 4 tables and place them together, then, the Resistance man places the papers there. They are two maps. One for Gotou’s HQ and another for the American Embassy. Very detailed.] R. Man: “We’ve only been able to create small plans, since we like firepower and numbers. Our idea was to convince Gotou and Thorman to stop but it’s obvious they won’t.” [The man points at the TV screen, airing Gotou’s message about demons.] R. Man: “Besides weapons, we have one ace…Yuka, you may know this already, but out of all the humans that can use actual magic…Yuka has an abnormal talent in its usage. We’ve seen her bring down entire squads of demons by herself, while we can barely deal with a small team.” Yuka: “Don’t be so hard on yourselves. I may have a talent, but without any of you I would be dead by now.” [The kind girl simply smiles at them before gesturing everyone to get closer to the table. There was no more time to lose, this is it. Taking a closer look, Gotou’s HQ had 3 floors and one basement. The basement, according to intelligence was where they were placing every Yuka they caught. Since Gotou was summoning demons, the place would be crawling with them, including ones not identified as of yet.] Yuka: “Almost the entire Intelligence team got killed. We don’t know about the demons, but we do know that Gotou’s followers do not use guns, but katana. They refer themselves as “Suicide Squad”. Apparently, many of the guards that allowed our comrades to escape committed suicide as punishment soon after.” [Gotou’s HQ was heavily guarded up until his office, it would be dangerous to deal with him, but necessary.]
R. Man: “Let’s take a look at the American Embassy now. The building itself is small, and there aren’t any demons. It would be as simple as just walking in there and talking to the guy. But…” [The Resistance Man points at the areas surrounding the Embassy. Some drawings indicated positions and guarding routes, but nothing on the inside. The many notes indicated that the building was heavily guarded by the military. Fully protected and ready to gun down any intruder. The building itself had two floors, and one underground corridor that leads directly inside. The Resistance Man points at the corridor.] R. Man: “This corridor leads to a small bunker, and serves as an emergency exit in case of terrorism or any kind of issue. Pretty convenient, but regardless, we can use it against them. The hardest part will be getting inside without being noticed.” Yuka: “Now, considering all this, we have more than one way to go through this. One idea is to separate our forces and fight at the same time in both fronts. A very straightforward approach. The problem would be the casualties.” Takeshi: “That wouldn’t necessarily a bad plan, if anything is a good balance.” R. Man: “Another idea is to act one first and then the other with full force. The success rate would be massive but the issue of time still remains. Now that we know Thorman could be close to achieving his plan and nuke all of us. According to one of the American defectors that joined us, the US is still deliberating regarding this situation, but that discussions might end soon in the coming days. And Gotou…he is in charge of all Japan, he can do what he pleases, so even if we stop Thorman, Gotou might summon even more demons.” Yuji: “But…wait, a scientist we met before said that they were being summoned by the Terminals. Maybe we could deal with those after all this is over.” Yuka: “Now, there is another plan, one that came to me…right after I heard about a trio of young men finding missing people and defeating all kinds of demons.” R. Man: “It is too dangerous, you would have to-“ [Kazuya blinked at his reaction, but he understood very well what was going on. Yuka was going to place herself in harm’s way. He wasn’t very surprised, this was always her entire deal, being direct and to the point when an issue arised.]
Kazuya: “She’ll be fine. Out of all of us…she’s probably the most capable, and she barely even have any training.” Yuka: “I will proceed then…the original new plan was to contact these mysterious warriors and get their help in this daring move. Have all of our forces attack one side, while a small group moves in to deal with the big ones. The high risk is the amount of casualties we might suffer. If we send all our forces to deal with say…Gotou, you guys and I could sneak inside the Embassy.” [Ryoko appeared to be restless, something about this plan was great but something was off, very off.] Ryoko: “B-But…what about the soldiers at the Embassy?” [That certainly hit a spot. There was something missing. The player’s minds keep going back to the past events. Tatsuya managed to keep Takeshi centered and willing to help, gaining his loyalty, as well as Prima to Yuji. But Raidou feels as if something is missing, and Ryoko was the key to it all. All the soldiers were willing to fight, Takeshi, Yuji and Kazuya were willing to fight. But what about the others? Maybe the everyday people? Ryoko…and the people themselves. This sudden awareness in information was not out of chance, but choice. This was coming from an almost godlike being, perhaps one in a wheelchair. It was now on the Kuzunoha.] Yuka: “Splitting our forces. All-out attack, one at a time. Or a Suicide Mission. Which do you guys prefer is best?” Takeshi: “If we are strong, we will win, All-out Attack.” Yuji: “Splitting our forces may be wise, with some strategy we should succeed.” Kazuya: “It’s dangerous, but Thorman is a priority. I vote for the Suicide Mission.” [Ryoko, however, seemed restless still. What will you choose?]
I'm... not entirely sure what to choose, but I have a feeling splitting up won't be as effective as we need it to be. I'm fine with either of the other two plans, although other ideas are certainly welcome.
Raidou pokes Ryoko on the shoulder, and gestures to the rest of the people here with an inquisitive look on his face. Gouto seems to be a bit puzzled, but shakes it off. Raidou asks her for her input on the matter, if she's going to be risking her life it may as well be for a cause she believes in.
[Ryoko is surprised by Raidou's sudden touch and let out a small cry. But she quickly calms down and talks.] Ryoko: "I-I'm...actually very scared to do this, saving Miss Yuka was great but I'm scared to move forward...even then. I believe a small group is the best call we have...the issue about generating a small distraction can be fixed as well...I-I think I have an idea on how to do it...!" [The teenage girl points to Raidou and tries to imitate his posture.] Ryoko: "H-He has managed to summon demons, befriend them...! I-I believe I can try to convince my classmates to create a small distraction...e-even the mall's people...we wouldn't fight but...just call their attention...!" [Kazuya thinks about this for a while, Takeshi and Yuji however had their doubts.] Yuka: "I don't think that's a bad idea, as long as said distraction is not something hostile, it could certainly create an opening..."
It could work... Prima considers the girl's words. Ryoko was right. Not everyone could fight, but there were still many that could help... I think it's worth a try.
Raidou pinches his chin in thought, Ryoko's plan added on to the ready sound suicide mission. He nods, and gives a thumbs up. His cheeks are obviously a bit flushed, but he won't be commenting on it. "The girl's plan is good. I say we initiate that plan, and strike that bastard Thorman where it hurts. As much as I'd like to take the scumbag using my name, the one with nukes is a bigger threat."
Tatsu pulls his lighter out, starting at the flames for a moment before sighing to himself... "They all have valid points. Going all out would be safer for everyone involved, less chance of losing... But in the end leaving one alone is too dangerous. Splitting up sounds decent too, but in the end I don't think I want to have things spread even.. Suicide Mission seems better to me, you guys can distract that's fine with me. As for being hostile that's fine too in my mind, just as long as you think you'll be safe go for it okay?" The man snaps his lighter closed before looking around one last time, they've come too damm far for failing now. "And finally our group should deal with Thorman, madness or not I've got faith in everyone's skills for this one. So then we kill Thorman Resistance deals with Gotou and the kids play decoy yeah? Anyone got objections or additional ideas?" Tatsuya rubs the back of his neck and gestures to the others, urging anyone who wishes to speak to do so now.
Y-yes... that should work. She's a bit hesitant about having to kill a human, but... She supposed it was necessary.
Kazuya: "No objections." Takeshi: "I trust Tatsuya, I think we should do this." Yuji: "Prima has never disappointed me before, I say we do it!" Yuka: "Then it's settled. Tomorrow morning at 5 Am we will strike, until then...be ready." [The plan was decided and in a few hours they would move out. Everyone was making sure their weapons were ready and in good shape. Kazuya and Yuka were sitting together by themselves, talking without any care for the world. Yuji keeps looking at his girlfriend’s photo. Takeshi throws some punches at the air, practicing his technique. Ryoko was now preparing to leave the bar and look for her friends. Time was passing and soon it would be late evening.]
[However, the entire atmosphere had a change around them. It was familiar, yet terrifying. They didn’t know from where it was coming from, but certainly it was calling to them. Will you answer this call?]
Prima has no idea what's going on, but hell yes.
Tatsu was never one to back down from a fight... So he'll do this without a second thought.
Raidou is hardly surprised by things like this anymore, and simply nods in affirmation to his allies.
[The walls were of pure diamond, and the air itself gave them a feeling of peace and serenity. But anger slowly built up inside of them, the fear of death, infinite sorrow, eternal loneliness, a cold, last breath and finally, intrigue. A mass without a form stood still, waiting for the final test.]
Prima's grip tightens around the Tundra Seal. What's this feeling...? She lets the wave of emotions flow over her. After a few seconds, she slowly looks up, seeing the strange mass. Whatever it is, it's... otherworldly.
Raidou draws his own blade, despite it being very different from the katana he's used to, he's grown very accustomed to it. He prepares Gremlin's summoning as he gestures for his allies to prepare similarly.
Tatsu simply grabs onto his sword and drops into a fighting stance, mystical emotions or not he's the type let it get in the way.. His eyes narrow as the man waits for this fight to begin, feeling entirely too interested by it.
[A just when the group approaches it, they are teleported to the top of a long forgotten tower. It was cloudy all around and a single, lone teenager stood in front of them. He had curly, black hair and a green school uniform. He was holding a small laptop and looking at them in silence. The young man then types on his computer before a powerful demon appears, Cerberus.] Nakajima: “Be prepared, Cerberus.”
Something tells Prima that they'll be having quite a fight. She considers using Bufu for a moment, but instead of using the spell, she focuses the power into Tundra Seal. She raises the pistol and fires at Cerberus, flinching a little at her own weapon's noise.
Rather than engaging Cerberus Tatsu darts up towards Nakajima. Quickly taking his left hand off the blade a jet of flames forms in it, by the time he's about 30 feet out he raises his hand to the laptop and the fire rushes straight for it. Hopefully he can fry the kid's tech fast.
Raidou stands motionless for a moment. He knows this man seems familiar, but they've never met. A loose connection, a tie Raidou will never be able to trace. The feeling is strong enough for even Gouto to pipe shut. Then, as if snapping back to reality, Raidou darts toward the Cerberus from the right while Gremlin goes from the left. The summoner aims a slash at the demon's neck, and the demon aims for it's body.
[Cerberus gets damaged by the Ice, Light and Bullet. But he doesn't stop, and in retaliation, attacks Prima with a powerful Agilao, saldy he is terribly hurt by Raidou's and Gremlin's sudden attack and falls down. Imediately after, Nakajima moves in towards Prima with a flaming sword.] Nakajima: "Hinokagutsuchi!" [Nakajima slashes at her with both the fire and sword. Then, he moves on to face Raidou with a powerful Rising Slash, ending it with an X shaped attack with his sword aimed at Tatsuya and to get rid of the annoying fire.] Nakajima: "Cross Slash!" [The fire managed to hit the COMP, and Nakajima's own image started to show some static.] Nakajima: "The amount of effort is taking a toll, I see, but it's not over yet."
Prima takes the hit, and is surprisingly (to her) hurt quite a bit by the attack. Usually, her water typing would let her resist that... She leaps back at the slash, getting only a light, scorching slash across the stomach. She panics a little and fires at the man, forgetting about Cerberus for the moment.
Tatsu smirks and tosses his blade in the path of the strike, in spite of blocking it the impact sends him back a bit and causes a bit of damage. Regardless the man darts forward and takes Gram with both hands, fire running down to the blade untill an Inferno covers it. He grins and stabs towards Nakajima... Stopping short as the fire darts off his blade in a blast towards his foe's chest, Tatsu himself leaping back a few feet. "Heh, you might not be done yet Nakajima but don't worry! We're not gonna lose here after all that'd be pretty lame!
Raidou takes note of the apparent weakness that Nakajima's laptop presents, and decides to capitalize. He has Gremlin wrap around to sandwich the man, while Raidou goes to fight head on with a downward slash of his blade. He seems to be winded significantly from the previous attack, but he's hoping he can at least provide a distraction for Gremlin and Tatsuya to go for the device.
[Due to the sudden nature of the gunshots, the flaming sword and Gremlin’s intervention. Nakajima is forced to cover himself with the COMP, heavily damaging it. Nakajima's body is almost completely gone.] Nakajima: "I'm completely beat. You have too much strenght. I think I lost some practice...it's your turn now, Hideto!" [Nakajima disappears and a young man with curly, short brown hair appears. He is wearing a military uniform of color blue, a cape covering most of his gear, and a robotic left arm with a COMP. Without saying anything, he summons the demon Orthrus.] Hideto: "My turn, I understand Akemi." [Hideto himself prepares for the enemies to come, meanwhile Orthrus attacks Gremlin with Agidyne.]
Prima pats out a few stray flames, then sighs at the newcomer. Another one? She focuses her ice energy in Tundra Seal once more and backs up, firing the icy gun at the new beast.
Tatsu backs away from the demon, stowing his blade and drawing the rifle off his back. As is becoming the norm fire gathers up in the barrel before he takes aim at the dog's head, shots covered in flame flying straight towards the demon while Tatsuya slowly backs away, keeping an eye on the unknown summoner all the while.
Hideto: "Another one? What is that supposed to mean? I'm the one, the only, pretty lady!" [Orthrus, learning from Cerberu's fall, dodges the initial attack and uses runs at her at full speed, aiming to pin her down. And as he does, he takes Tatsuya's attacks like nothing, he even looked stronger than before. Hideto then moves in to give Tatsuya a hit with his metallic arm] Hideto: "Metallic....FIST!" [One hit and one follow-up, now that's a fist!]
Tatsu flies backwards from the blows, groaning in pain as he stumbles up from the ground. "Okay stop using demons that null fire you fucks. Anyways mind staying still..." He growls at the man before tearing his sword off his back again, quickly trying to kick the man's left knee and then slash into the right arm.
Raidou sees a chance to capitalize on Tatsuya's attack, and lunges in aiming a kick at his stomach to coincide with Tatsuya's attack. Gremlin tried to latch on to Orthos' back, attempting to tear the demon's back to shreds if at all possible.
[Hideto takes the kick and drops, but blocks the incoming slash with his metallic left.] Hideto: "CLANK! Not so fast, don't you forget that I have a metallic...!" [Prima then disappears out of nowhere and Orthrus hits a pole, getting SOME damage. This distracted Hideto enough to be kicked on the stomach, and Orthrus to get the annoying Gremlin on its back, getting more and more damaged.] Hideto: "BAM! Be more careful Orthrus! And you two...!" [Hideto quickly stands up and makes a quick succession of punches, one for Tatsuya and another for Raidou.] Hideto: "And don't get me started with my sword!" [As Orthrus was getting more and more damaged, Hideto's image flickered.]
Raidou is sent reeling from the punch, and shakes his head to get his bearings. He stops for a moment, and then it hits him: the demon! The man darts toward Orthos, and as soon as he gets close he attempts to switch places with Gremlin on the demon's back, aiming a stab at the base of one of it's long necks.
He's not the only one who can block, Tatsu grabs the man's hand in his left fist and pushes it back before leaping away. Of course the metal still hurt him a bit, but it's no direct hit. "Don't get you started? Heh, we won't let you last long enough to use that thing!" Rather than using Gram Tatsu switches back to the Warhammer from earlier, rushing at the demon with it raised up he quickly tries to slam the thing down onto Orthrus back, hopefully cracking it's spine... If it's ever possible.
[Hideto's image flickered more and more as Raidou's and Tatsuya's attacks to the poor demon.] Hideto: "No! My poor Orthrus! Alright then, that's it. I lost and I will now give the spotlight to others!" [Orthrus was defeated and Hideto disappeared] Hideto: "Don't forget about me!" [And then, from different sides. A young man with a green suit and white armor appeared, along with another of black and yellow armor. Both had COMPs but no demons to summon. They were Kazuya and Aleph. Kazuya readies his sword and Aleph his gun.] Kazuya: "Lightspeed Slash!" [Without losing any time, Kazuya dashes at immense speeds towards Raidou, hoping to land this lightning fast strike. Meanwhile Aleph breathes slowly and points his gun at the warhammer's handle, shooting and hoping the break the damn thing with one shot.] Aleph: "Gideon Bullet!"
Raidou barely has time to react before Kazuya comes speeding toward him, sword in hand. Raidou brings his own blade up to block the slash, chipping the cheaply made blade a bit, the shattered bit of metal flies by Raidou's cheek, leaving a cut. Raidou wipes the blood from his face, and blinks. This Kaz is most certainly different from the Kaz he knew, either of them, actually. He smirks, maybe now he can get a real challenge. Despite his stoic nature, he can't hide his excitement. The summoner aims a low sweeping kick at Kaz's ankles hoping to open up his defenses, and if successful he'll slash upward hoping to slip his blade underneath Kazuya's breastplate.
(edited by Raidou Kuzunoha)
Tatsu spots the shot coming and... Simple lets it happen, if they had any healing he might of tossed his hand in the way, but like this the man sadly just let's his weapon break. "Hey you bastard I can't believe you did that... Gah I have more where this came from ya know!" Tatsuya draws his rifle again and begins firing right at Aleph's gun, charging forward as he does so. Hopefully he'll send some shots into the chest or something along the way considering he's kinda just spraying the rest of the clip at his foe.
Aleph: "Sonic Shot!" [Aleph quickly shoots forward, aiming at Tatsuya's right hand, simply letting himself get hit as he points at Raidou and shoots at his left foot. The long haired man looked tired. He was probably running a lot before this.] Aleph: "I know you do, helmet kid. But I prefer accuracy to chaos." [Kazuya on the other hand falls victim to Raidou's attack. This doesn't stop him. His eyes were empty and sword was ready, despite being hurt, he didn't feel pain due to his adrenaline. He must've been going through a lot of stress recently.] Kazuya: "Crescent Slice!!" [Kazuya quickly does a downward slash, he then tries to connect another hit by jumping and then slashing downward once more.]
Tatsu sighs and steps back a bit, drawing his hand up so the bullet flies into his right side, painful and it slows him down some... But still only scraping non vital parts. "Kid? I'm 38 geez, if you're calling me kid you've been around way too long old man." Tatsu continues rushing forward, there's a chance he'd take some more shots in spite of darting from side to side as he moves. Once he's there his gun has been quickly switched for the blade, held in both his hands. Fire roars up on it before Tatsuya tries to slash the thing down through Aleph's right shoulder to his chest. Assuming he still can by the time that's over, the man quickly raises his left leg and sends a kick straight at his foe, aiming to send Aleph tumbling towards Raidou. "Okay now finish him off if you could please!"
[Aleph laughs as he tries to dodge everything, but gets hit by one simple kick. Alep quickly tumbles down to the ground and stays there, not being able to move.] Aleph: "I'm beat...and I still need to deal with YHVH...you guys are good...!" [It seemed that Aleph was tired all along, one simple touch and he was out of it. Kazuya however was still trying to battle everything that moved. He quickly ran towards Raidou, with his sword ready to strike.]
Raidou's focused isn't broken in the slightest, nor is his train of thought as he initiates his plan...which involved dropping his weapon and holding his arms out in apparent surrender.
[The moment Kazuya sees Raidou surrender, he stops his attack and immediately shealts his sword. He didn't look wary either, he knew he didn't have bad intensions. And so, he bows to him in apology.] Kazuya: "I am very sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was suddenly brought here during a...strange time." [After bowing, Kazuya disappears completely. But it didn't seem like it was over yet. Then, the light turn off and two light shine down. Two silhouettes posing, one has his hair in a pompadour, and another is posing with a gun, which is actually a...COMP?] Both men: "Presenting! Kyouji Kuzunoha and Keiji Minegishi! In the flesh! Kyouji: "C'mon! Metatron, Anat and Vishnu! Keiji: "Time to shine! Shiva, King Frost and Mot!
Raidou's eyes bug out a bit, a Kuzunoha? Not to mention that Heisei kid. He chuckles a bit to himself, what a fight that was. Still, that only made him more wary, especially since he was dealing with Metatron among other powerful demons, as well as their summoners when all he had was a chipped machete and a relatively weak demon on his end. Still, giving up was never really his style, so he nods to Tatsuya before rushing the King Frost alongside Gremlin, seeing it as the weakest link and hoping to kill the damn thing so Tatsuya can get close to the summoners behind this small army they've been faced with.
Tatsu mutters a curse under his breath as he darts towards the summoners, no chance of reaching them yet but... Regardless the man's hands lit up in flames, a wall if fire bursting up in front of him and rushing at the two, any bullets they tried to fire would likely melt considering that Tatsu is behind it. He also pulls the rifle out once more and tosses in a new clip. Obviously sweating and breathing heavily from all this. He's got a little magic left... But no more than 4 spells.
Kyouji: "Is that Raidou that I see?" Keiji: "Doesn't matter, we move!" Kyouji: "We dance?" Keiji: "DANCE!" [Both summoners make a disco pose before ordering their demons to attack. Makouga, Maragion, Mazionga, Magarula, Mabufula, Maeiga, trying to make them fall back. The summoners are not able to move due to the amount of demons.]
Raidou thinks fast, cradling the little Gremlin in his arms and diving through the barrage of magic. He's rocked back and forth by the blasts, and lands face-first on the ground, the only bright side is that Gremlin is largely unhurt seeing as it's master took the majority of the blast for him. With what little strength he had left, Raidou draws a second tube from his combat harness, activate's it's summoning, and tosses it in Tatsuya's general direction. The persona user should likely be able to deduce what demon is inside of it, the one he left with Raidou for safe keeping. Unfortunately, Raidou himself couldn't take anymore, and lies on the ground drifting in and out of consciousness. His demon ally seems to be enraged at this fact, and rushes toward the two summoners without any regard for it's own safety. Without any sort of supervision, it'll likely meet a worse fate than even it's master as a result of it's recklessness.
That storm of magic is... Pain, but it's not impossible to survive. First the light, Tatsu's blade flares up with flames for a moment, shaped into something of a shield and the light crashes against it. The other fire on the hand flies towards his wall from earlier, crashing into as the two forces mesh into one he can't do more with than nudge a bit... Right towards the ice, by the time that's over his flames are long dead and the wind is crashing towards him. Tatsu slams his blade into the ground and grabs hold of it, both being pushed back by it till the end... And till the electric spell slams into his blade, the currents run up to his arm but somehow or another he's still standing, he'll be done with a few hits at this point though. The darkness on the hand sails right past him as he runs at the summoners, grabbing the flying tube with a grin he tosses the thing out aiming to summon right behind the pair. Through that his rather fast pace carries him right to Kyouji and the blade flies right at the man's COMP, Tatsu aiming to cut it straight in half given how focused his foes seem to be on their demons, defense looks unlikely.
Keiji: "I think the older Kuzunoha could not take the heat!" Kyouji: "Don't be like that, he probabl still has more experience than...hey what is that?" [Gremlin actually made it through, who would've thought? The two summoners just stand there looking at it, awkwardly. Then another ones appears behind them. Same thing happens.] Keiji: "...I uh..." Kyouji: "What do we-HEY!" [Tatsuya slashed though the COMP, making Metatron, Anat and Vishnu. Keiji points at Tatsuya as Kyouji disappears, laughing his ass off.] Keiji: "That's not fair! But it was cool!"
Tatsu wastes no time ordering the newly summoned Cu Sith. The demon growls and rushes at Keiji, trying to tear into his left leg with it's sharp teeth. Tatsu on the other hand summons up the last of his magical strength and a beam of flames forms in his hands. The lance of heat flies through the air aimed right at his foe's shoulder. Tatsu quickly darting after it and trying to stab straight through the COMP.
[Keiji was not a dumbass. He orders Mot to use Maeiga, primarily on Cu Sith. Shiva to use Magarula to get rid of the flames. And finally, King Frost to attack with Mabufula to deal with Tatsuya himself and avoid the attack.] Keiji: "What can I say? My moves are incredible! You guys...!" [But out of nowhere, Gremlin moves in and bites his COMP, Keiji is surprised by this and tries to get him off. But the moment he does, the COMP rips apart and he slowly disappears.] Keiji: "-Lose!? oh no c'mon you gotta be kidding me!!!!" [The Devil Summoners were defeated, and they were back in the room of diamond walls. They had won against the summoners.] Stephen: "My most sincere congratulations, everyone. To defeat them is a great display of skill, power and determination. I trust that you will do well with this very special sword. Choose the user wisely." [A sword slowly descends from the roof, this sword was the Murakumo. A sword of normal reach, but with the very special attribute to not only cut through your enemies, but also deal almighty damage. But who would posses this legendary sword?]
Raidou struggles to his feet, his condition more stable than before. He glances at Tatsuya briefly, before taking the sword in his hand. The weight, the style...it felt right. He motions for Tatsuya to take it if he really felt like it, but otherwise Raidou thinks he's found a new sword to use.
Tatsuya shrugs before nodding at Raidou, it's a good sword but he'll stick to fire. This thing works pretty well with his magic so it suits him all too well.
Raidou nods, and places the sword in the previously empty sheathe at his hip.
OOC: Please don't kill me for doing bumping this here I swear this will end today I pray to you phansite gods. ----- [The battle had ended and they appeared at the bar once more. Their injuries weren’t there anymore and their fatigue was gone. One look at the nearby wall clock said “5 am”. It was finally time to end this, and everyone was ready. The Resistance, led by their Moustache Commander, the Resistance Man, would raid Gotou’s headquarters head on, trying to bring out their demons and katana-wielding followers. They had the firepower and numbers advantage in this. The next team, the infiltration squad led by Yuka, consisted of Kazuya, Yuji, Takeshi, and the players themselves. Ryoko however, was not in the area.] Yuka: “Ryoko left last night to look for her classmates and hasn’t comeback. But I trust her, the plan is for us to be hidden near the American Embassy and wait for the signal. Which we ignore, but I’m sure we will know soon enough.” [Yuka places a handgun inside a gun holster she kept under her white robe, covering her military gear. She was also wearing red globes instead of tactical ones. Takeshi kept his usual coat, but was now wearing leg protection, as well as a vest over his shirt. Yuji didn’t do much besides wearing tactical armor over his jacket and jeans, as well as very heavy boots. Kazuya on the other hand, only wore gauntlets and a light tactical vest over his green jacket.] Kazuya: “I won’t deny I’m a little nervous, but we must do this.” [On a nearby table, different kinds or protection were lying. Anything you could imagine to protect yourselves and your teenage selves. Takeshi, Yuji and Yuka get closer to Kazuya, and all of them share a simple look of trust. They knew they could pull through, they knew it was possible.] Takeshi: “No matter happens…I’m glad I met you all.” Yuji: “It’s been an experience, one very…unique.” Yuka: “I feel the same way, we can do this.” [Kazuya nods with determination and walks closer to the door. He gives the group a very firm peace sign.] Kazuya: “Let’s be heroes!”
Prima takes a moment to take everything in, as she had mysteriously vanished during the fight against those summoners. She smiles at Kazuya in silent agreement. She grips the Tundra Seal as she steps forward, ready to end this fight against this world's evils.
Raidou's eyes snap open as he realizes where he is. He pats his sheath, now holding a new blade at his hip. He smiles, and gives a thumbs up to the others' speeches. Raidou decides for ignore the armor, he's always been about speed over defense. So, he walks toward the door as well, followed by Gouto. "Give 'em hell kids, let's put an end to this."
Tatsuya shrugs and nods at Kaz, certainly this has been something new even for him... And now it's time to close the curtains on this show. "Well everyone we've been through a lot up to now haven't we? But it's not quite done yet... For good or for ill I'll stick around till the end, I'll spare everyone the cheesey speech about friendship or something. But it's been nice meeting you guys. And on that note let's go kick a god's ass and save the country!" Tatsu grins as he walks over to the door, running his hands over Gram as he walks. Hopefully Thor doesn't null fire.
[It was time to move out at last. The Assault team quickly left the bar and walked towards the parking lot. And now Yuka began to move out as well, gesturing to the group so they follow her.] Yuka: “Remember, the Embassy will be crawling with soldiers on the outside, and even if we get a distraction, many will remain in the surroundings. We have to move carefully and leave no trace of us being around. Once we get inside, all we will have to do is move towards the second floor, and onto the main office.” [They moved to the east, in the direction of the Embassy. They could take different routes. They could move between the alleyways and take some time longer to get there, or take advantage of the strangely empty streets.]
Prima doesn't like this. Before, the streets had been very lively... They needed to get there quickly, but if they ran into a trap, the trip would take even longer. The alleys are probably the safest route... Ironically, the dark alleyways were the most comforting option.
Raidou presses his fingers against his chin, considering his options. The streets seemed dangerous, like a trap waiting to happen. While they didn't have a lot of time to waste, their group was still fairly small, and in the long run it'd probably be best to avoid open sightlines in general. So, he gestures to the alleyway, making it clear that's where his vote is going.
Tatsu glances out at the streets... So empty, probably a trap in a likelihood. But it looks appealing. Either way the man wanders into to much safer dark alleyway and urges the rest to follow.
Yuji: “This is the best choice, yes.” [The alleyways it was. As you move around the first set of narrow alleyways you notice a strange stench. This was the smell of dead demons left to rot in the middle of the alleyways. They all had bullet wounds as you can see, probably hunted down by the police forces and/or military. Were the demons trying to hide?] Kazuya: “I feel kind of bad for them…” [i][At the end of the alleyway, you get to the next street.] Yuka: “The Embassy is to the north now, what do we do now? Do we try to use the alleyways on the other side of the street or walk north?”
Well... I suppose if we're in a hurry, we should head straight north. That, and Prima's clearly disturbed by the dead demons lying around. She's not exactly eager to see any more in the alleyways.
Tatsu simply walks forward and glances around for foes, no sense wasting time at this point... Not with those nukes looming over them.
Raidou nods, glancing around for anything to jump out at him as he walks.
As they move up the street, they can see a tank moving in to them. It hasn’t noticed them yet, so you have a chance to somehow hide in plain sight, go into the new alleyway, or somehow destroy the tank.] Yuji: “I really don’t want to deal with a monster like that…!”
Prima doesn't know what this big car thing is, but it looks dangerous. She ducks into the alleyway as it gets closer. She stays in the shadows, waiting for the machine to pass. If it went on its merry way, then they could keep going once it was safe.
Tatsu decides to follow the seal, normally he'd be okay trying to nuke a tank... But this magic ain't gonna cut it here. Instead he moves quietly and lurks in the alley, waiting for a chance to move.
Raidou nearly jumps out of his skin internally, who brings a tank to take over a country?! Oh, yeah. Right. Externally his face remains calm though, and he does his best to make himself scarce in the alleyway as the thing passes by.
[This alleyway has nothing of importance, but it’s a great hiding spot!] Yuka: “Alright, we’re really close to the entrance to the underground passage.” [A closer look to their surrounding show them a pair of brick walls with an electric fence on top of them, the entrance isn’t sealed, but it is guarded by two soldiers, along with another pair walking from side to side. Perhaps it was a good idea to wait and see what happens. Or maybe jump in? Trying to somehow distract the four, fully armed and awake soldiers was a good idea.]
The time crunch was still a factor, but Prima decides to keep hidden for now. There were too many soldiers to distract, but an attack could blow their cover... Unless she can manage to distract them... The realization hits her. Of course, that girl was going to distract the enemy! She'd nearly forgotten in her worries.
The summoner is tempted to rush them, but he stops himself and sits tight. Remember what Stephen said, about Ryoko. He leans against the wall, peeking around the corner ever so slightly to try and wait for an opening. OOC: You saw nothing
Tatsu hangs back and looks at the soldiers, tch. That kid better hurry up with her idea, otherwise these poor people will have to be disposed of for getting in the way. "Wait for now everyone... But if she's not done soon get ready to kill, aim for the chest unless they have armor on. Then uh try for the head, but for now... Wait."
[The group decides to wait and see what happens. A few minutes pass and nothing was happening, surprising. But one of the soldiers took notice of a strange shadow near where they were hiding. The man slowly walks up to them and lets the others know.] Soldier: "I saw something, probably nothing but-" Soldier2: "Hey, you hear that...?" Soldier: "This can wait, let's move." [And out of nowhere, an enormous group of people could be heard making a really big ruckus. This was Ryoko, it had to be Ryoko and the people she got. They were yelling about demons, danger and what not. All the soldiers move out, except the ones guarding the gates, but they seemed very distracted now. How will you go inside?]
Prima doesn't do much for a while, but after a moment, turns back to the group with a large, cracked ball of ice. Kazuya would know what this meant. She looks over at the soldiers, then tosses the ice with all her strength, letting it shatter into tiny pieces. Not enough to hurt, but the pieces were small and puffed outward enough to obscure their vision.
Tatsu grins at the distraction and draws his blade out, rushing forward the man points his sword right for one guard's head. As he dashes and builds up momentum Tatsu reaches his target, quickly trying to slam his blade straight into the man's head. Hopefully they can't focus enough to defend given what's going on.
Raidou sees the chance and takes it, darting out from the alley way and attempting to slam the hilt of his sword into the man's back. It won't be fatal, but damn if it won't hurt.
[Prima’s distraction was as successful as in the past, this allows Tatsuya and Raidou to rush at the soldiers and “defeat” them. The group finally had its chance, and they actually made their way into the underground passage to the Embassy. The felt a strange presence above them and they had no obstacle in front of them. All they could see was a dark path towards a shining stairway, leading to the first floor. Some in the group had restless expressions.]
Prima can feel something big nearby. It's like that strange aura the angel had given off, one of might. Or perhaps it was something else. She couldn't really tell from here. She looks around, then takes a cautious step up the stairs, then another.
Raidou was apprehensive, at least a little bit. Still, there was no turning back, so he follows Prima while keeping his eyes trained forward.
Tatsu sighs to himself and glances around the room, whatever they're dealing with here feels strong as hell... Either way nothing to but press onewards. He looks down at the blood stained sword, briefly flaring some fire upon it to boil it off, wouldn't want Gram getting rusty after all. And with that he raises it up to guard before walking up those stairs himself. "Keep on your toes people, something feels off up there and I don't want anyone getting shocked when a fight breaks out."
[The first floor revealed to them a simple red carpet all around, and white walls. There was almost no furniture or even windows for that matter. Despite the nice looks of the place, it had a terrible feel to it. The strange presence turned into a feeling of intimidation by its sheer strength. There was nowhere to go but upstairs and of course go back the way you came.]
I have a feeling we're getting close... Prima shivers a little, then continues up the stairs. Something about this place just screams "Hey, final boss ahead! No turning back now!"
Raidou draws his sword, staring at the blade for a moment, perhaps reaffirming his own resolve. He glances back at the others to gauge their reactions, before proceeding forward, holding his sword out in front of him as he does.
The man walks up the stairs with a solemn look on his face, Tatsu is normally pretty laid-back even in a fight... He's not feeling like messing around anymore this time.
[The second gave them this heaven-like feel, but also absolute terror. Their skin was slightly burning for some reason, nausea, drowsiness, tremors and their respiratory system halted for a few seconds as the feeling of burning became more intense than the most powerful flame Tatsuya ever created in his entire life before it all came back to normal. The rest of the group gave the players a worried expression.] Takeshi: “Shit, are you guys alright?” Yuka: “We’re almost there…” “This is just a simple taste of defeat. ICBMs are so terrifying for a reason. You will not escape in the event of failure.” [What they felt, right in front of Thorman’s Office was literal death. Their skins wouldn’t be able to forget the feeling of being burned away by the most powerful force of destruction in Earth, and if they failed, everyone in the world would soon go through the same thing, if not worse. All of humanity will fall in the darkest of pits, hell on earth. Will you step through the door?]
"I'm fine yeah... Let's just say this isn't the first fight for the fate of the world I've been in and leave it there for now. Anyways we've got a fucking god to kill so let's take him down!" Tatsu raises his voice and walks through the door, terrible feeling or not someone's gotta try and keep everyone from freaking out right? Tch, since when was it his job to try and be morale support or something.
Prima hugs herself as she stares at the door, not entirely seeing it as she tries to recover from the sensation she just felt. It was like fire, but fire never hurt this bad... She takes a deep breath and gives Takeshi a small smile. I-I'm fine... Let's hurry. She's reluctant to move forward, but she's not doing this without a cause, she reminds herself. She needs to help this world. That's a good enough cause to fight... right?
Raidou shuddered at the sense of dread. This was...new. Not even the Vortex World gave him this feeling of suffering. Still, even in spite of it, he closed his eyes and smiled ever so slightly. How many times has he stood at points such as these, the fate of the planet resting on his shoulders? The key difference this time is he wasn't alone this time, he had people to fight with. After engaging the summoning of Tatsuya's Cu Sith, and his own Gremlin, he turns to the others, smiling at them. Let's show this bastard what messiahs...no, all of humanity can do. Gouto purred from the ground as Raidou pushed the doors open and proceeded inside.
[As the group steps through the door, they see a single man, just a man of blonde, short hair and a suit. He had been waiting for them. The floor is red and the walls white, like the rest of the building, and behind the man, there is a giant screen with some kind of dot pointing at Tokyo, and many red dots in different places in the US. This was Thorman, and he immediately looked at Kazuya with interest. He knew who he was.] Thorman: “Welcome! Nice to meet you hello, everyone. I am Thorman, the American ambassador. I apologize my Japanese not very good. I hope you can understand me. I hear rumor about you! I give you big welcome!” Kazuya: “Rumor…?” [Thorman was referring to Kazuya now, it’s possible he knew about him through the live sacrifice. A lot of people recognized him yesterday for that.] Yuka: “Why did you invade Japan with the American army?” Thorman: “We bring out American army to save everyone from demons. But…we are not strong yet. Gotou…he want to call Lucifer to Tokyo. We need to defeat him first. Lucifer want bring many imprisoned demons to world.” [Takeshi crossed both arms. It was true, out of everyone, Gotou was the one who did the most damage, going as far as to use the Terminals.] Takeshi: “Bring out Lucifer…Gotou is absolutely mad.” Thorman: “We just soldiers, we not trained to fight demons. You can fight demons please help us, defeat Gotou.” [Yuji really wanted to help this man for a very obvious reason. They just were lucky they had Kazuya and his Demon Summoning Program, otherwise they could’ve died a long time ago, and now that they have experience against demons…] Yuji: “These poor men…why did this have to happen?” Thorman: “If Lucifer summoned, terrible, terrible for Japan! There will be no way to stop that many demons that he will free. If you defeat Gotou, peace will return to Tokyo. We will be able to bring back former era of peace. You make up your minds yet? Will you hear my plea?”
Sorry, but... We didn't come here with the intent to leave for Gotou right away. I hope you understand. Despite the fear that lingered in this room, Prima can at least be a little polite to her new foe. Was he human? Or something more...?
Raidou held his place, keeping his sword at the ready. Gouto spoke in his stead, as usual. "Ah, a pleasure to meet you Mr. Thorman. I must say, you have it good up here. Pretty nice pad you have, really. Still, it's a waste on scum like you. You control your men through fear, you send them over into hostile territory just to be slaughtered. You plan to wipe everyone, American or otherwise off the face of the Earth." Raidou turns to Kazuya, his face stone cold. A tip for the new devil summoner, never trust a demon in his own domain. The tubes from before finish summoning, and Cu Sith alongside Gremlin join the group, as Gouto continues speaking. "We're Kuzunohas, you see. Protecting this nation, and the people within it is our job, always has been, always will be. We'll stop anyone who tries to step on humanity like a bug, demon or otherwise! So Mr. Thorman, sorry to say but we aren't here to help you..." Both mentor and summoner glared at the "man" before them, speaking at the same time. "...We're here to kill you." ...We're here to kill you.
Tatsu glares at the god before him and scoffs, as if he's got no clue what one of their dammed kind is? "Oh you can fight demons too... Thor, Son of Odin and god of storms. Don't play me for a fool war god, I've met enough of your kind to know what ya are after all." He grins at Raidou for a moment before his blade goes up in flames and points right at Thor. "As my friends said petty god who's fallen to naught but a slave for a greater being, we're here to put you out of your misery!"
[Kazuya stood quiet for a moment, and then spoke up with his decision made. This wasn’t a human, this much was obvious at this point, but…] Kazuya: “I won’t stand for this, I’ve been a witness and know of your plans, Ambassador! Please reconsider!” Thorman: “…I see. Then you think it all right to just let Gotou continue?” Kazuya: “Of course not! He is as wrong as you are with this!” Yuka: “Right now, our forces are fighting to stop him. And we have come here to please stop this, we can work together!” [Something clicked inside of Thorman, and he lied against his desk for a few moments before speaking again.] Thorman: “…I see, then you not…” [Electricity was filling the air all around them, and the floor began to shake at the immense power that was leaving Thorman. Then, a sudden thunder struck the building, breaking the ceiling. The desk was now broken, and the floor around the shadowy figure hidden by dust was darkened, burned.] Thor: “…Then you dare to defy my command!? Even one of the Kuzunoha, even when your ancestor allowed His plan so many years ago… very well then. In punishment, I, the great Thor, will take your lives! [The dust finally cleared, only to reveal the powerful demon Thor, holding his Mjolnir in a battle stance, ready to eliminate this new vermin. Quickly, Yuka moves closer to Raidou, Takeshi to Tatsuya and Yuji to Prima, while Kazuya summons Tsuchigumo, Forneus and Nekomata. Tsuchigumo moves towards Prima, Forneus to Tatsuya and Nekomata to Raidou.] Takeshi: "Prepare to die." Yuji: "I won't allow this any longer." Yuka: "Everyone ready!?" Kazuya: "Born ready!" [FIGHT!]
Let's do this! Rather than use Bufu, Prima takes out the Tundra Seal and focuses her icy energy in it. She aims at Thor, then pulls the trigger. I'm not sure what Thorman's weaknesses and resistances are, so everyone else, try some spells out! Yuji and Tsuchigumo add to her assault with Garula and Kougaon, respectively.

As if a bell had sounded, Raidou darts forward, slashing downward at Thor's abdomen. He is backed up by Nekomata and Gremlin, while Cu Sith gravitates toward it's real master, Tatsuya. Yuka meanwhile casts Marakukaja on the party, better to make sure nobody dies before we do anything else.
Takeshi focuses on his foe and a light emits from the boy's hands, covering the whole team as their strength grows. "Focus in on him, I'll power us up for now." Tatsu on the other hand quickly takes his advice, moving forward as the fire on Gram grows a bit larger. In a sudden burst of speed he darts at Thor while thrusting the blade at him, flames leaping off it and right towards his foe as the man closes in. "Yet another god stands against the will of man... And just like always I'll make sure you don't live to do so ever again!" Forneus however flies a bit closer, forming black tendrils out of it's dark magic that try to rush for Thor,s neck. Attempting to strangle the god if it can get on.
[Prima's bullets of light and ice manage to make a decent amount of damage, but it wasn't enough. Tatsuya's fire did absolutely nothing, and his sword barely changed any of that, and as soon as Raidou and his demons get close, Thor simply laughed at their weak physical attacks, despite the effect of Matarukaja.] Thor: "Foolish vermin! You dare try to best me!?" [But Raidou's sword had a special property, it dealt magic damage, this simply made him angry, even more so as he was being strangled by Forneu's dark tendrils, hit by Yuji's powerful winds and Tsuchigumo's light.] Thor: "Insolence!" [Thor was not having any of this, he hit the floor and with his powerful hammer and made the entire building shake, attacking the entire party with a very powerful Deathbound.]
(edited by Kazuya)
Raidou slides back, having been blown back by the blast. Nekomata took it relatively well, but Gremlin is looking to be in rough shape. Raidou punches the ground lightly, standing up and ordering the weaker demon to hang back. He calls for Nekomata to heal the group with a Media, as Raidou rushes in alone to perform another slash to the demon's chest. Yuka noticed the tough time Tatsuya was having. Fire was sort of his shtick. She clasped her hands together, forming an almighty attack in her hands, Erudite Blast. She fires it at the demon, hoping to give him a new vulnerability to exploit.
Prima is knocked down, not having the best defenses even as a human. She pushes herself to her feet and grabs her gun, which had fallen a few feet away. A very tough opponent... Bufu. She forms a ball of ice in her hand, then throws it, letting it shatter to pierce Thor. She doubts it will do much, but it should at least distract the demon a little. Tsuchigumo launches itself at Thor as this is happening, while a green light from Yuji washes over the party, making them faster.
Tatsu flies back from the strike as it slams into him, he wasn't quite expecting Thor to be doing so well after all that. Takeshi however raises his hands up and blocks the wave, it still hurts and sends him back a bit. But he'll hold up. Forenus on the other hand is slammed down the ground before staggering back up, choking Thor took focus after all. Once he's recovered Tatsu backs away from his foe, drawing out the rifle in a blur as Takeshi pulls his own shotgun, the two quickly opening fire and hoping that their guns work better than fire or physical attacks. Forenus begins focusing in, sending a spear formed from darkness right at the god's head as he backs away, hoping to evade further attacks from Thor by using range.
[Thor was satisfied with the damage he made them feel. Sadly his joy wouldn't last much, as Yuka eliminates his nulling of fire damage.] Thor: "Impossible!" [The god yells, as he once more recieves the magic attack made my Raidou, and Tsuchigumo's assault soon after Prima shoots ice at him. Thor was getting irritaded, but this onslaught was hard to take. The, the Chaos heroes shoot at him with their weapons, and Forneus leaves a nasty injury on his cheek. Thor, who was getting desperate, charges up electricity and shoots it all around, Maziodyne!"]
This attack was powerful. Prima's electricity weakness didn't follow her here, but she's still left reeling from the shock. Tsuchigumo is outright stunned, twitching on the floor. Yuji manages to avoid the demon's fate and charges forward with a powerful Turbo Arrow. Prima backs him up with a few quick shots from her gun.
Forenus darts away from the bolt, clearly expecting an attack and given his distance it's not terribly hard to dodge. The demon however doesn't have enough time to strike again. Takeshi and Tatsu on the other hand are stuck head on, both feeling the energy flow into them with and clenching their teeth in pain. Tatsu: "Yo Takeshi, I got an idea now that he can get hurt by fire again... Just follow my lead alright pal!?" Takeshi: "Alright Tatsuya if you've got something in mind I'll lend a hand." Tatsuya grins to himself and draws the blade once more, flames gather up around it as he backs away slightly, as he swings Gram towards his foe a roaring inferno rushes right at Thor before swirling around the target. The ring of fire wrapping around his torso and burning at it slowly but sure. Takeshi quickly follows up on the attack pouring more flames into it and casuing the ring to expand, by the time he's done the whole thing breaks down in a huge ball of flames that cover Thor's body for a moment. Both: "TOWERING INFERNO!
Raidou curses under his breath as he brings his arms up in a vain attempt to block the blast of electricity. Gremlin, who could barely take a Deathbound earlier stood no chance against that, and was nothing but a black mark on the floor now. This only succeeding in pissing the summoner off more. He was actually starting to like the little bastard. Raidou runs forward, ignoring the very obvious injuries he'd sustained and slashes twice at Thor's chest, before turning around to face away from the demon and flicking his sword through the air. It was something he usually did to fling blood off his sword, and to signal for his demons to move in. Speaking of, Nekomata appears behind the summoner, leaping over him and delivering a downward slash to the Norse god. The attack wasn't nearly as effective as when he did it with Yoshitsune in the current time, but it works. Yuka, winded from doing Erudite Blast, decides to give the group a Makakaja, to help with Tatsuya's sure to happen fire attacks. She just hopes the group can survive another blast like that one again.
[Prima's shots prove useful, as Thor is distracted enough to be stuned by Yuji's Turbo Arrow, rendering him immobile for the entire next wave of attacks, unable to retaliate in time as Tatsuya's and Takeshi's Towering Inferno absolutely annihilated him, even more so due to Makakaja's effect. And to top it all off, Raidou's Nekomata Show-up attacks proved terrible to the demon.] Thor: "Humans should not be this strong, YHVH saw to it...!" [Thor was certainly weak, not much of the demon was left, and so, the demon charged straight to Yuka with its hammer in hand, ready to strike her down in one deadly hit with Mortal Jihad. This attack in particular was fast and impossible to dodge by her, even with the help of Masukukaja.] Kazuya: "YUKA!"
Prima's too far away to reach Yuka, and the light-using demon is still paralyzed on the floor. Without even realizing it, Prima dashes forward, firing the Tundra Seal with all she has at the demon. Most of all, she aims for his helmeted head- partly to blind him with the light-infused bullets, and partly to do as much damage as she can. She hears gunfire from Yuji as well, but barely registers it in her panic.
Tatsuya swears and darts forward a bit, flames once again roaring up as a ball the size of Thor's head flies from his hands towards the eyes of the god. With any luck he'll be able to blind it. Takeshi on the other hand takes an idea from Tatsu and gathers burning magic into his gun, shotgun shells slamming at Thor's head and glowing red from the fire imbued into them. And finally Forenus dashes through the air once more using tendrils, this time trying to grab onto a shoulder and pull Thor back with all of it's might.
Raidou whips around, obviously startled by the sudden attack. He rushes Thor, jumping into the air and aiming the Kusanagi right at the small of the demon's back. Nekomata on the other hand rushes to cast Media, for the injured Yuka and the rest of the party, though it feels like the healing might be in vain.
[Prima's and Yuji's bullets manage to blind the raging demon just in time, making him stop right on his tracks. His head then literally catches on fire due to the Chaos' side attacks, even worse, Raidou managed to deal the "last" hit, only for the demon to be thrown all the way back to the desk, seemingly defeated at last. Not even Thor could take so much punishment by the strongest warriors in Japan, possibly even the world at this exact moment.] Thor: "No...!!!" [Unforgivable, Thor kept punching the ground.]
[Defeated and humiliated by nothing but weak humans. They had won the battle. This was too much to take, and worse of all, he was failing at the mission He gave him. There was no other choice in the matter. H must bring his hammer down. With one simple move of his arm, he reached towards his broken desk, and took hold of a remote controller. This controller had many different buttons, but it was pretty clear what it was for. One push and it was all over. No one was close enough; no one could be fast enough as he was moments away to finish what he started, all in the name of the lord.] Yuka: “Y-You gotta be kidding…!” Takeshi: “Stop!” Yuji: “If you do that everyone will…!” [They spoke at the same time, and Kazuya didn’t have any time to think. His mind was blank, as he felt reaching to the depths of his heart. Raidou’s and Prima’s words from back inspired him at a young age. His mother and Pascal were still alive and fine, and so was Yuka. He was so glad she was still alive and fine and he wanted that to stay this way. The invisible red thread uniting them glowed without them noticing; only the players could see this. Yuka’s magical aura was moving through the thread rapidly, covering Kazuya’s body with just a small fraction of it. The boy, who was unable to use magic at all, was exploding with this energy. Perhaps this is how Kazuya was able to fight. He thought of Takeshi’s voice, “Let your emotions run rampant, let them flow with ferocity!”. His heart was beating with anger and power, and so, his body was covered by a chaotic crimson aura. He thought of Yuji’s voice “Concentrate; use your mind to relax”. His muscles were tense but now they felt so light, almost weightless, due to this, his mindless anger had a purpose, and so, his body was covered by a lawful, golden aura. The golden and crimson were overlapping with each other, trying to decide at first, but then, trying to merge. Suddenly, he knew he wanted to run forward, and for a moment, everything stopped. Thorman was immobile and so was everyone else, except perhaps the player’s mind. Kazuya easily stood up and ran forward as he held his sword. He thought of Tatsuya’s voice, and he was right, swinging his sword like a madman will not get him anywhere. On hit, one simple strike and move, that is all he needed now. His grip was powerful, his feet were fast. He kept running ahead, and running, and running. Colors themselves were now merging as Kazuya ran right through it all. White, pure white. And for a brief moment, just ahead of him, someone ran a little bit faster, but their movements were identical. This person with a slightly different green jacket turned around.] “You already know the words, so let’s do this together.” Kazuya: “Yes!” [Magic violently covered his body as he moved at incredible speeds; he couldn’t even see his target anymore. This was nothing but pure instinct taking over.] “Lightspeed…” Kazuya: “Lightspeed….!” [He reached out with his left hand, trying to through darkness, and with his right, he slashed forward, cutting light itself.] Kazuya: “SLASH!!!!” [The two voices overlapped, connecting the will of two different humans with the same desire across time and space. Before he could realize, he had the remote controller on his left hand, and Thor was crying out in pain, as in the blink of an eye, his entire arm was severed. Kazuya’s friends didn’t understand what happened at all, as it all happened in less than one second. Thor was now absolutely vulnerable and Kazuya secured the one device that would end everything. At this one very specific moment, the group had the full extent of their abilities, not limited by this world. This opportunity might go soon, finish this!]
Something returns to Prima. It's hard to describe, but she feels something coming back to her. All her strength from her normal form. She's tempted to blast Thor with her water-controlling voice, but that's not an option with so many people. But she can at least do this... I'm ready. Let's end this, Thor. MOONBLAST! She holds her hand out, and a bright orb forms, shining as brilliantly as its namesake. With a wave of her arm, the orb goes flying, striking Thorman with all her magical energy.
Tatsuya laughs madly for a moment and smirks to himself, in an instant the figure they may have noted in earlier battles appears before the group. Glaring at Thor from behind it's mask. "I AM THOU AND THOU ART I! NOW COME AND PUT AN END TO THIS SORRY GOD APOLLO!" And with that Tatsuya rushes forwards in a blur, his speed looking utterly inhuman as he grins to himself. Stowing Gram and conjuring up two blades of fire in his hands, the man darts across Thor a few times hacking into his foe again and again with the flames before Apollo moves in close. A wave of burning white nuclear magic forms in the Persona's hands, the massive beam covering both Thor and Tatsuya for a few seconds before it clears up... As the dust settles Tatsu can be seen standing unharmed by it with a grin on his face. "Heh... Like I've said you aren't the first god I'll have killed Thor, so then I do believe we're done here right everybody?"
Raidou smirks, it's about damn time, Kazuya. He holds his arms in front of him, though there were no tubes between his fingers, the green light envelops him anyway. Come forth, Soulless God: Oumagatsu! Right on cue, the ghostly image of a machine appears behind Raidou, so large it dwarfs the entire building. It almost looks like a battleship, but it is very clearly a massive fucking robot. A large cannon on what would be the nose of the ship glows, and prepares to open fire on the pitiful deity before it. "You know Thor, I did try to warn you. Do it, Raidou." That's all the signal Raidou needs, as he thrusts one arm out toward Thor, smiling as the blast dings like a microwave as a sign that the charging had concluded. Begone! SOULLESS CANNON! The blast would be big enough to engulf everyone here, but it seems Raidou can't use this thing's full might on his own, as the blast is actually a fairly sized laser, piercing Thor's chest before exploding from within the demon. It's work done, the machine fades, and Raidou drops to one knee, on the verge of collapsing himself.
[Their power was out of this world, and the other group was simply speechless. There was nothing left of Thor, not even dust. Kazuya was lying on the ground not being able to move due to the tension his body had to suffer for this one attack. However, he was able to move this right arm. Lucky. Yuka then received a call on her transmitter.] Yuka: “Yuka here, we stopped the ambassador…I see…how is everyone then? Yes! I’m so glad! Let’s meet at the bar, we’ll be there soon.” [Yuka smiled with relief, dropping her weapon as it was not needed anymore. She then put her transmitter away.] Yuka: “The raid was successful. They managed to capture Gotou with no casualties and only a few injured nothing fatal though…!” Takeshi: “Then…it’s over?” Yuji: “It really is…!” Kazuya: “Yay…!” [The fatigued young teenager moved his right arm and gave them all a peace sign, which Yuka, Takeshi and Yuji returned as they laughed, the tension they had felt all this time was finally gone.]
We... we did it... Prima laughs a little, partly from happiness and partly from relief. The injuries she sustained earlier are starting to catch up to her now that the danger is over, but she still feels excited regardless. Good job, everyone! She smiles warmly at the others, then walks over to Raidou. She offers a hand to help him up.
Apollo vanishes in a blur as Tatsu grins, it's been one hell of a thing but they actually pulled this off. The man actually does a peace sign as well... For a little bit. "Well then everyone I guess we're done here, another god is dead and no nukes are gonna fall so all in all... I'd call this a pretty usual day on the job for me!" He leans back on a wall and smirks at them, tossing his hands in his pockets before casually stepping out to walk off for the bar. Gram resting in the sheath on his back once more as he walks, still ready for something to happen just like always.
Raidou props himself up on Kusanagi, barely able to keep both eyes open, but smiling all the same. Nothing more satisfying than a job well done, right? He looks down at Gouto, who returns the glance before the both of them watch the survivors from where they were. Outsiders, even still. "This has been a learning experience, eh Raidou? Got to see your successor's struggle, firsthand. Not only that, but you prevented it." The boy could only smile in response, out of satisfaction, relief, and most of all...pride.
[The world slowly shifted and advanced rapidly, perhaps for the last time. Their injuries were gone and all they had was the gear they obtained by changing the lifes of two heroes, and surpassing past summoners. They’ve been transported to a point in the near future. They were now at Inokashira park, next to the place from where they went in before. They could recognize many of the Resistance soldiers just having fun, talking loudly and laughing. The smell of food was all over the air and even in other places, people were walking around peacefully. No one had any weapon, as they didn’t need to kill anything anymore. They had won and everyone was celebrating. They could see the Resistance man already drunk. Takeshi was sitting by himself, reading a newspaper, perhaps looking for something? Yuji was sitting with his girlfriend at the part, they were having a picnic, it seemed. Yuji turned to Prima and smiled at her. Maybe he wanted to ask something? Ryoko and Yuka were happily talking, and Ryoko seemed very excited, she couldn’t stop looking at Raidou, isn’t she a cinnamon roll?. Kazuya, his Mother and Pascal were together under the tree where the notebook was left in present time, they were just talking, but Kazuya seemed so nervous.] Resistance Man: “We fuckin’…destroyed the Terminals so NO MORE DEMENSSSS!!” Resistance Soldier: “P-Please sir, don’t say that kind of thing so loudly…!” Resistance Man: “Who the eff caresss, we saved THE WORLD, I THINK I DESERVE TO DRINK A BEER, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.” [The Resistance Soldier simply sighed.]
Prima takes a moment to take in the atmosphere. Everyone's so happy... and all it took was a mysterious man and a handful of heroes to save the day. Her gaze drifts over to Yuji, and she leaves the crowd to head over to him and his Yuka. Ah, there you are. I never got the chance to really talk to you after that.
Tatsuya walks off, wandering over towards Takeshi and glancing around... Wonder what the kid is searching for out here? "Yo, you seem... I dunno, like something's up? Everyone else is all cheerful and everything but here we are over to the side, heh. Story of my life honestly." The man sits down as well, a smile forming on his face as he realizes that for once things actually worked out, sure he couldn't save his world. But if nothing else at least he's saved this one somehow... Things like this? It's what getting into this job was all about to begin with.
Raidou was laying in the grass, staring up at the sky. Watching the clouds drift by overhead, just taking in the sunshine. He averts his gaze for a moment, and sees Ryoko stealing glances at him. He quickly checks on Gouto, asleep as expected. He sighs, not out of exasperation, but relief maybe? He stands up, and walks to where the girls are, flashing them both a bright smile, and a wave.
[Yuji and Yuka smile widely at Prima, gesturing for her to sit and have a sandwich.] Yuji: "You are right, it's been a while since actual relaxation...especially with all that happened a few weeks ago..." Yuka: "I'm glad everyone pulled through..." [Yuji looked at Prima with a very gentle smile, his usual serious self wasn't there, at all.] Yuji: "What are you going to do now, Prima? Because I know what I will do, and I want your opinion." Yuka: "Oh ignore him, he just wants to start a dumb idealistic crusade." Yuji: "So serious." [The pair laughs at this] ---- [Takeshi nods and smirks at his "superior".] Takeshi: "You said it...before this, I was always bullied and...even alone, you know? But after this...after all you helped me out with, hell, even gave me a reason to be better. I'm glad I can call you all friends, even you, Tatsy." [Takeshi changed his arrogant smirk to a very honest and warm smile of gratitude. Though he changed his face almost immediately.] Takeshi: "Whatever...that's is all for the thanks. I am...actually looking for a gym that specializes in boxing. I got a liking to it, you know? With some luck, I might even be a champ." ---- [Ryoko hides behind Yuka as quickly as she can with her face being redder than Tatsuya's usual jacket. Yuka laughs a little bit.] Yuka: "Excuse her, Raidou. You know how she gets around you, in fact, she was saying to me how cool you were during all of the invasion. Even what she wants for the future" [With a quick movement, she ducks and moves Ryoko to the front and pushes her to Raidou, enough so she was actually making body contact.] Ryoko: "M-M-M-M-Miss Yuka!" Yuka: "C'mon, relax a bit!" [It's a miracle the girl's head didn't explode because of the blood.]
"A boxer eh? Well I'd say it suits ya man... Talent like your could make ya one hell of a demon hunter, but honestly that seems like a better idea. Whatever you end up doing though? Just make sure ya do it well, as if anything but could happen though! I've got faith you'll be fine after everything we've seen." The man pulls his lighter out once more, staring into the flames with a grin on his face. And to think how this would have gone if they'd never shown up... Geez talk about depressing even by his standards.
Prima laughs as well, sitting down to join them. It's nice to see the two so happy together. But the question of what she will do... that's a hard one. She rubs a blade of grass between her fingers as she thinks. Well... I'm not sure. I'm sure I'll figure something out, though. After all, who knows what's in store? She smiles, but she still feels some regret. She doesn't want to say goodbye for real, and she can't just tell them she'll be going back to her own world. Either way, though... she can at least treasure these last few moments.
Raidou chuckled a bit, geez she was cute. He gave her a pat on the head, as his eyes drifted back to the sky. He didn't want to give her false hope though, as his smile faded. He would be leaving this time, this "possibility" was just that. A fleeting what-if scenario. He scowled a bit, and sucked on his lip. If only there was a way he could bring her...with...him...Could he? She was an anomaly in some way as well, her survival only occurred through his intervention, after all. Hell, everyone here's survival is technically an anomaly, so who's to say he couldn't? No...no none of that. Meddling with the timeline is a no no, no matter how much he may want to. He looks back to the girls and begins talking excitedly, something about wanting to go traveling outside of Japan for a while, see the world, that sort of thing. He remarked that be might not be back for some time. This was hard, really hard; but it was necessary.
[Takeshi nods and once more looks at the newspaper, he had a very subtle tint of rose on his cheeks. After a few seconds of not saying anything, he then reaches inside his pocket and gives him a pocket watch, it's made out of silver.] Takeshi: "I felt like I had to give you something, for helping me out, you know? This small pocket watch, I've had it since I was a kid...and I have the feeling that it's better of with you." [Takeshi can't help but laugh.] Takeshi: "It's so dumb, but it was a dumb feeling I had the other day. Basically that we might never meet again, you know? Kind of ridiculous, but there you have it." ---- [Yuji laughs and nods at what Prima said in agreement.] Yuji: "That is exactly what I said! I keep telling her that me as a teacher might work out!" Yuka: "And I'm telling him it's not a good idea, but...I do love him, so...I'll just have to put up with this." [Yuka had this incredible look in her eyes as she looked at Yuji, it was more powerful than simple love. Yuji then appeared to remember something, and gave Prima a nice, small bag of color blue.] Yuji: "This has a red hairpin, it's...one I used to own back in the day. I had to keep my long hair in check you know?" [Yuji crosses hir arms and closes both eyes.] Yuji: "This way, our bond will never die. It's very sentimentalist but...emotions aren't all that bad, right?" ----- [Ryoko looked down for a few seconds, fidgeting with a litthe things she was hiding. But she understood, the girl looked up with a very wide smile and gave Raidou a flower bracelet.] Ryoko: "I-I know! But with this you won't have to go alone, I know you c-can look at this and remember me!" [Her expression showed a lot of confidence.] Ryoko: "I had the feeling you would go soon...so I had to do this. So...when you comeback...I-I hope you get to see me as the best detective ever!" [At this point, all of them could feel it. It was time already. Whatever they did next, would be their last interaction.]
Raidou looked at it, and couldn't help but smile. Tears almost welled up in his eyes. He clasped it firmly around his wrist, on his sword arm in particular. He could feel his time running out, so for one last moment he wrapped his arms around Ryoko in a tight hug, holding her head close to his chest. From the way his mouth was moving, it was almost like he was trying to say something, but by then his voice had no sound anymore, his presence was almost gone.
Prima takes the bag, carefully opening it to see the hairpin inside. She puts it in her hair after a second of figuring out how it worked. She nods at Yuji, eyes full of energy. I'll be sure to keep it safe. And... I think the emotions attached to it make it even more meaningful. She knows they probably won't meet again, but this is proof enough of the bond that connects worlds. I hope whatever you choose to pursue works out. And make sure he stays out of trouble, alright, Yuka? The last sentence is said a little jokingly, although Prima still hopes that'll be done.
Tatsu takes the watch with a grateful nod. "Yeah... About that, I likely shouldn't say anything but uh I'll do it anyways. We're not gonna be around here anymore actually." The flames grow for a moment before he flicks his lighter closed, explaining things likely goes against some rule or another. But when has he ever cared about the rules? "I'll sum it up for you Takeshi, and this may sound crazy but after all you've seen I'd like to think it's believable. We're from another dimension, well we're from a few honestly and it's a long story but something or another drew us all to one place. "The Nexus" Is what we call it, people just end up there, it's how I met Kazuya in fact... The one I know, we just got put here by some magic actually. Soon enough we'll be home for good and well I doubt I'll ever be able to come back. But on the off chance you end up in The Nexus try not to forget what you've learned about magic, who knows Takeshi. Maybe one day we'll met again there. But uh for now I think it's goodbye sadly." And with that the man stows the watch as well, looking both happy and rather saddened by everything... Either way he looks out to the sky and prepares to return, for some reason it all feels very final now.
[Ryoko returned the hug] Ryoko: "I-I like you a lot, Raidou...~" [Yuka nods at Prima's request, to Yuji embarrassment.] Yuka: "He saved me and japan, it's only fair" [Takeshi simply laughs at this] Takeshi: "C'mon man! Don't joke like that, especially after me getting all emotional!" [They then felt their presence becoming weaker inside this world, and so...] “It’s time to say good bye, everyone…” [As Kazuya, his Mother and Pascal crossed the small bridge and head towards Yuka. A strange portal opens up in front of the tree, leading to a dark tunnel of dark blue lights. On the other side, Kazuya was waiting for everyone to leave. This strange occurrence caught all the Resistance Fighter’s attention. Especially a very specific group.] Alt.Kazuya: “You are the one I saw that time…” Mother: “But…he looks just like…” Yuka: “It’s not just that…I can tell, it’s the same person, but how…?” [Yuji and Takeshi could feel it too. The immediately left their seats and walked closer, as if being called by something they couldn't understand. All of Kazuya’s friends were there, just across a simple bridge. But he knew it wasn’t his place, this world belonged to his Alternative version. Kazuya took the time to see everyone’s faces in complete silence as he waited for his friends to leave this Alternative.]
I guess it's time to leave... Goodbye, everyone. Even thought it pains her to do so, she stands up and bows, keeping the farewell short and sweet. The gives Yuji and the others one last look before steadily walking towards the portal. She nods to the Nexus's Kazuya in greeting, then steps in. Her form seems to change completely for a split second, almost like that of a seal, before she's completely inside.
Raidou gave her one last pat on the head, before nudging Gouto awake with his foot. The two nod, as the summoner tosses his cloak over his shoulder. He walks past Ryoko, Yuka, Takeshi, Yuji, everyone without stopping. He only hesitates on the bridge, inches from leaving this "possibility". There's no saying they'll never meet again, but he isn't betting on it. The boy turns to everyone with a smile, obvious tears welling in his eyes. He remains silent as ever, flashing nothing but a resolute thumbs up, as the pretty boy and his cat vanish, as if they were never there to begin with.

He looks over at the other Kaz and grins, sad farewell or no it's still good to see him again after finally getting done with this battle. "Sup Kaz, so I guess you can tell we won huh? Oh and I wasn't joking Takeshi! I'd love ta say see you around... But I don't really think that I will. It's been fun everyone. But so long and thanks for all the fish!" And with that reference he's almost sure nobody would get, Tatsuya walks into the portal with a sad smile on his face. It really has been great, but all good things must come to an end.
"You can say that again, Tatsu..." [Kazuya and his Alternative kept looking at each other. One had nostalgic eyes and the other maybe some kind of admiration. Kazuya wanted to say something; there was so much he wanted to say at this very moment to everyone there. But he couldn’t, he was unable to find the right words. Thinking back, he repeated the words someone told him so long ago.] Kazuya: “Kazuya, Yuka, Takeshi, Yuji…everyone, you have done the impossible. You have fought and won against incredible odds. There are good things to be said about the Law side…one cannot deny laws and regulations are necessary to preserve peace, but those living under God’s iron fist would never enjoy the freedom of mind and action that they would need to truly be happy.” [Yuji was deep in though when Kazuya said this. Prima helped him realize this, and for some reason he simply couldn’t doubt this stranger.] Kazuya: “The world of Chaos envisioned by Lucifer also has its strong points. Such a world would be quite alluring, overflowing with the excitement and exhilaration that naturally comes from such unfettered freedom. However such freedom would also give birth to endless conflict and competition. People would never be able to truly live at peace.” [Takeshi knew this was true. Tatsuya helped him calm the hell down a bit and think more. This stranger…he knew what he was saying.] Kazuya: “To pursue either extreme will bring nothing but sorrow, it’s only through balance that happiness can be obtained. It’s difficult to do, but it’s important to strive to achieve it. The future of humanity should be built by neither reliance on God or demons, but by the hands of the people themselves.” [Finally, Kazuya turns around and looks toward the other end of the tunnel. It’s dark blue light become more intense, revealing space itself. The “players” are surrounded by galaxies and stars all around.] Kazuya: “You feel it too, don’t you? The world…the galaxy…the universe. The common thread that connects all exists…You too are a part of it.” [And after one last peace sign…] Kazuya: “Have a good life!” [After this, the tunnel is closed and the players are standing there, In the middle of space with only a faraway light as their direction. Kazuya, in silence, walks forward, leading the group.]
I guess that's the end... Prima quietly follows Kazuya, thoughtfully feeling the new hairpin in her hair. It's the end for now... but perhaps they'll meet under better circumstances. Who knows? She smiles to herself and keeps going. That world is saved. Now to explore their own world.
Raidou followed silently, he seemed to be deep in thought about something but not even Gouto could quite pick up on it. He looked at the floral wristband on his arm, his eyes not averting from it.
Tatsu is just as quiet as Raidou, it's been one hell of a ride but he's about ready to stop for a bit, maybe it's time to take a break for a while? Things have been quiet...
[As they move ahead, the stars themselves keep moving, showing the passage of time as the go. 1992 quickly goes by all the way until 1996. They are blinded by camera’s flashing from side to side, and people cheering someone on. They see a ring where two people are fighting in a boxing match, but soon enough, one of the two falls, and another rises his fist in the air.] “AND THE NATIONAL CHAMPION OF THE LIGHT FLYWEIGHT TITLE IS….TAKESHI YAMAGUCHI!” [An older Takeshi is laughing like crazy at his own achievement. People get inside the ring to congratulate him on his victory. Time passes once more, and the image shifts to a hospital room. They are actually able to see Yuka with a small baby in her arms, but nothing else. Kazuya keeps walking forward, and on his right side, a reflection of him moves at the same time. This was his Alternative, the other Kaz. His face showed so much calm, contrasting with Kazuya’s tired expression. Only their eyes were the same, ones filled with hope.] Ryoko: “Sumaru City is so big…! I never thought it would be this much of a hassle to find this one place!” [The year is 2001. An older looking Ryoko is wearing a very formal dress and with a map on her hands. She didn’t even notice she was holding it upside down as she walked forward, completely lost. A woman of short, brown hair walked up to her with a warm smile.] ???: “Excuse me miss, are you lost? Is there anything I can help you with?” Ryoko: “W-Well…I was actually heading for a job interview at the…” [Ryoko takes a quick look at a small piece of paper.] Ryoko: “At the “Kuzunoha Detective Agency”, do you know where it is?” Tamaki: “Actually, I work there. Who would’ve thought I would find my new colleague here? My name is Tamaki Uchida; it’s nice to meet you!” Ryoko: “I-I’m Ryoko Edogawa, it’s my pleasure!” [Ryoko was blushing so much she almost faints, while Tamaki just tried to make here relax. They then see a man with very short hair and glasses writing on a chalkboard in front of many students.] Yuji: “This is so embarrassing. I didn’t remember middle schools being so nerve wracking…!” [Yuji said to himself, as he was still not used to teaching young people. Even if he’s been a teacher for a good amount of years now. It seems he still has issues when it comes to feelings. But it’s at this point that Kazuya’s reflection begins to grow older, beyond Kazuya himself.]
Takeshi: “C’mon, Sanada. Don’t you want to be the strongest champion!? Stand up, don’t you dare give up!” Akihiko: “Yes!!” [Takeshi was retired by the time 2010 hit. He was now training an aspiring new star of white hair and a like for the color red. Then time jumps to the year 2013, and Ryoko is seen investigating a bizarre crime scene, alongside a detective.] Ryoko: “This has to be a demon, this is even weirder than what happened in Inaba…” ???: “Hold on, a Demon…? How did you even get to the same…?” [The two of them look at each other with surprised eyes; they didn’t even realize someone else knew about them. They cautiously kept looking at each other before Ryoko spoke up.] Ryoko: “And how would you know that, Detective Katsuya?” Katsuya: “…It’s…a long story.” [The group was getting closer to their destination. They could see a couple walking around a mall casually; they each had an ice cream in the year 2017.] Yuka (2): “Are you sure about that school? The reputation it has is…” Yuji: “It’ll be fine, besides I want to help those kids. Not everyone is evil, they are just misguided, you know? Besides, Shujin isn’t that bad…they just had a terrible teacher.” [Yuka laughs at this and kisses him on the cheek.] Yuka: “There you go, talking like some kind of Messiah…just don’t make me say “I told you” eventually, okay?” Yuji: “I won’t, honey. If anything I’ll get my heart stolen.” [And finally, a young man of brown hair leaves his home on his way towards college. And coming down the stairs, both Yuka and Kazuya are getting ready for work.] Yuka: “Our anniversary will be soon, you know?” Kazuya: “Seeing as we started dating right after the whole demon invasion, it’s kind of hard to forget.” [The two of them simply smile at each other and share a warm hug before kissing. The image vanishes the moment the red thread that has always linked them shined with a great light. “Kazuya, I love you” is the last thing they hear, it was Kazuya’s mother. After that, the entire group was back in front of the tree form where they started. Kazuya then sit under the tree, and picked up a purple album of photos that was lying in there.] You know…I hadn’t seen any of them for over 5 years now, and all this time I just knew what you guys did through the notebook… [Kazuya opens the album, and sees photos of an entire life he never had, but his Alternative was able to live. He quickly moves from page to page, looking at everything, every single moment with a smile. After this, he just kept looking up into the sky. His eyes were getting watery, he couldn’t stop his own tears from falling and even his smile was so difficult to maintain.] I…my mind is completely blank… [The young man raised his arm into the air, and made a firm peace sign pointed at the skies. And with each passing second, he broke more and more into tears. But he never looked down.] But you were happy, weren’t you…!?
Prima almost can't contain her happiness as the memories fly by. Everything is so... right now. This is the future Kazuya wanted. And she's glad it could happen. Her mind strays to her own future, but... that's for another time. She puts a hand on Kazuya's shoulder, not saying anything. Not that much needs to be said.

Tatsu smirks to himself as he sees his brother... Heh, wonder what the hell happened there in this world? One hell of a thing to see how this fits, if he were still there it'd be a near endless case to work on. As is just though? Just something to think about in his spare time really. But at least they've done some good.
Raidou smiled, looking at the bracelet once again. Ryoko Kuzunoha had a nice ring to it. What a shame. She never even learned his real name. He looked at Kazuya, and clapped a hand on his shoulder, shaking him a little.
[Kazuya nods and takes a few deep breaths. Wiping his tears with his sleeve. Now much more calm, he sighs and smiles at his friends.] Thanks for everything, I'm just...glad to know that world got hope, for once in an eternity...
Raidou nodded, and his smile soon faded. He closed his eyes for a moment, in thought perhaps. He then opened them, looking resolute. He turned to the other two, and seemed be ushering for them to leave. He even did the same for Gouto. The cat seemed bewildered for a moment, but seemed to nod in understanding, and quickly left the scene.
Tatsu shrugs and follows along with Raidou, no sense waiting around too long after all. "Yeah me too Kaz, I've screwed up plenty... But for once I can honestly say I've saved the world without mucking it up along the way, hah. I guess all that experience was good for something after all right."
I'm glad too. I never knew those people at first, but... I feel like I gained something from saving them. It's just a feeling I have. She fingers the hairclip as she speaks. Now, let's get back to our home, shall we?

[Kazuya then stands up, keeping his smile.] Yes, I think it's a good idea to leave...as much as I like this tree. [Kazuya chuckles at his own comment.]
No. The boy spoke firmly, clearly. He wouldn't meet Kazuya's eyes. Kazuya...I don't talk often. I don't do well around people, that much should be obvious, but I want to tell you that you're right. We saved A world today, but there will be more threats. There will always be more to do. I'm so used to tackling these things alone, but now I have people like you, Prima, and Tatsuya backing me up. It's a nice feeling. That being said, I don't think I could ever be enough on my own. I need someone backing me up. Not just a partner, a friend...an equal. That friend is you, Kazuya. However, I know you don't feel that way. I'm "master" to you. That stops here. We never really got a true fight. Just the two of us, at our best. Kazuya. Raidou swings Kusanagi out of it's sheath. The dark blue blade reflecting the sunlight beaming down on the park. Raidou's sword arm is notably adorned with an abundance of colors, a memory of a time that never was. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT5IsLNYZww I want you to show me the power a messiah has. Not as your mentor... He takes a stance, waiting for Kazuya to draw his own weapon, as he finally meets him face-to-face. ...but as your friend.

Prima raises an eyebrow at Raidou's challenge, but simply backs away to give the two some space. It's a bit sudden, but not uncommon in her world. She chuckles a little, then walks off towards their destination. OOC: slep time night folks
[Kazuya places his left hand on his hip and uses his right to rub the back of his head.] I've never been a fan of violence, I don't think I ever will...but when that day came, so many years ago, the sword felt natural, and the gun did as well. As time passed, I heard stories about the Kuzunoha and one specific Raidou. He could protect what I failed to. [The ground shakes a bit as Kazuya's body is covered in a crimson flames. His rage could be felt, it could almost be touched, tasted. The crimson flames quickly turn into blue ones, furious, yet calm.] Until now, I've never fought anyone to my full power, I don't like hurting people, even the bad ones...you know? But no matter what I sacrifice, what I have to do. [Kusanagi falls from the sky and thrust itself into the ground, standing as a towering tool of destruction twice the size of Kazuya. He then takes the shealt on his back, quickly pulling his sword out and throwing the shealt away, as well as unshealting the sword on his hip.] I will fight forever, and I will never let this blade go. Master Raidou...no, Raidou, I will show you the extent of my skill! No matter how hopeless, I will never stop struggling! [Kazuya's flames become more and more violent and Kusanagi beings to tremble, separating and transforming into something completely different. A metallic samurai, porting two swords. It's face was nothing a mask with Kazuya's hair.] "I am Musashi, the Lone Warrior. With an undefeatable sword in hand, with your ideals as your weapon, we will cut through fate itself." [Musashi prepares itself, and so does Kazuya, taking a new stance, completely different to anything he had done before, pointing his right sword to the front and the left one to the back in a reverse grip while slightly leaning his torso to the front. Even his COMP appeared to be ready to summon at any moment.] I WILL BURN MY LIFE UNTIL IT GOES OUT!!! [And with this declaration, Kazuya rushes to the front, all with a smile on his face.]
Raidou can't help but grin, two Kusanagis, well there were two anyway. Musashi...perfect. Raidou throws his cloak backwards, letting it flow freely in the wind. In his right hand, he held his sword, in his left, two summoning tubes that shone with the familiar green glow. Raidou leaped into the air, as he prepares to truly go all-out. Then let's see just how strong that fire of yours burns, Kazuya!
