Friggin hardest games you've ever played
Name some of the most intense/difficult or just plain frustrating you've ever come across. I'm currently playing Bayonetta, and while I've played this kind of game before (similar of its genre) good god is it hard. There are so many combos and you have to practice your tail off just to not completely suck. And worst of all, there are hidden stages you'll 100% miss until you read about. Think that's enough, game?! This is not too frustrating overall, however. It's a rewarding kind of challenge and I like practicing, but still, I feel so drained every single time I finish playing one stage. Probably others, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment. Post yours, they can be difficult like mine or just unfairly broken difficult too. Just any game you find a challenge for any reason.
Breath 9f the wild was hard as heck.
Dark souls. Obvious one I know, but I don't really play hard games. I actually didn't know anything about it so the first enemy I encountered was like a skeleton or a undead solider ( I don't remember what it was) and I was literally raped in a corner.
Bubsy 3D is a masterpiece of difficult but challenging gameplay. I've beaten Dark Souls four times and Undertale Genocide twice But that damn bobcat....
I have mastered many games but Bubsy 3D... Quite the tall order that one.
Super Meat Boy, N, N+, N++, Dark Souls 2, any rhythm game, Hotline Miami.
Gin
Dark Souls 1 isn't that hard when you've gone through Dark Souls 2. The first game is a much fairer game than the second one.
Super Monkey Ball 2 and Crypt of the NecroDancer
The Wonderful 101. I love the game, but the "normal" difficulty definitely feels like a misnomer. An honorable mention to the first Kid Icarus game as well.

Super Meat Boy, N, N+, N++, Dark Souls 2, any rhythm game, Hotline Miami. Hotline Miami was pretty normalish for me. Not dark souls level hard.
The mess that is Sonic 06. Never got past the first level as a kid. The game being a glitchy mess... The lack of actual save points... Yeah.
any rhythm game Pretty much sums up my gaming experience.
Project Diva F 2nd.
Obligatory comment from the FE fan about Thracia 776.
y'ever play kaizo mario world? it changes a man
y'ever play kaizo mario world? it changes a manand i have issues with regular mario games... ... i kinda suck at 2d platformers okay?
Hardest game I've played? I would say the first Rayman game, shit was hard. Another would be WILD WOODY. Both were pretty tough
A first person shooter called Black for the PS2. Good lord you were shot by decently programmed NPC's who shoot you if you are like an inch out of cover, you lost like almost all of your health instantly.
... Hum... Resident Evil? As in, the REmake, I guess? It's not that it's hard, it's just that I'm way too scared to actually get anywhere past the first hour. So I don't know if it IS hard or not. It's just hard to play it. Oh, and Team Buddies. It's an old game that you probably didn't hear about, but it's essentially a RTS mixed with a hint of Action RPG. Basically, you collect blocks, stack them in different ways, and boom, you get stuff. It's pretty intense, and the bosses are pretty damn hard. Might have to do with the fact that I was just plain bad at it, though.
