Easiest Achievements you've gotten?
So, I just started Disgaea D2 and immediately got a trophy for watching the opening and it got me thinking. What are the easiest achievements you've gotten in games? These can be randomly getting an achievement or one by doing pretty much nothing like the one I mentioned above.
Welcome to the concept of trophies in general. Mine was "obtain the Persona Arsene" from P5. I watched cutscenes and pressed X.

The two deadpool trophies from the start of the game. It's almost scary how good they are.
Demon’s Souls gives you a trophy for your first death. So not only do you get trophies for succeeding, you get one for failing.
Anything with "Completed the Prologue" in the description. 'Cause most prologues are cutscenes.
Demon’s Souls gives you a trophy for your first death. So not only do you get trophies for succeeding, you get one for failing. Obviously game designers have become more sensitized. Feeling like a loser even in a game can be a very traumatic experience, even leading to PTSD or worse mental scarring. It has become an epidemic now since games still are not fully automated. YOU HAVE TO PLAY THEM, and they can be hard, even on the easiest settings! It's so unfair! But now, thankfully, even if you fail, you still get validation to know, yes, it's all okay, you don't have to quit. Everything...will be... okay... I fucking hate acheivments.

I hate trophies to be fair, the Souls series is known for difficulty, and the first tutorial ends either with you dying during it, or being killed in a cutscene at the end. This teaches you their respawn mechanic which has quite significant effects, your health is halved and your damage goes up, higher risk, but higher reward.
Yeah, but I'm sure at the rate we're going, my sarcastic jab will become truth. We're nearly there already with the concepts of trophies/achievements in general and incessant hand holding in games. Almost like developers think we won't want to play unless we're validated with (worthless) prizes or if it's just too hard.

Achievement have always been a part of games, but they were generally set up as either a personal goal or among a group of friends. Such as “who can beat this first” and all that. The developers just took this system and added it to their own. Some of them are pretty much worthless, like the cutscene achievements, others are simply jokes, and the third category is what I call “actual achievements”. This last group adds replay value by giving one clear goals they have the option of working towards. For example, an achievement for defeating a bonus boss or finding an Easter egg. If you didn’t have these, The player may never know the boss is an option.
They are handy for knowing things exist, or if you missed or completed everything, but I find the validation aspect wholly worthless. I turn off pop up achievements by default, but I'd love to turn off trophies in general on console.
There’s not much point in it from a validation perspective. Some people want it, and that’s nice for them I guess. As Long as it does no real harm to the game I simply try to ignore it. Having any option is usually a good thing. At the very least having the ability to hide trophy info well out of the way would be great. Makes it easier to ignore for those who don’t care.
Some people crave these worthless virtual prizes. I've read about people buying horrible games solely because they have easy trophies, meaning, MORE. Or who will pay just for a new trophy. These types of gamers make me worry. And I see it as pure validation. Kinda sad too.
