I personally don't think Shiho needs a relationship with Akira. She exists for Ann characterization and to add stakes for Kamoshida. The one exchange they have was all that was needed between them. Nor do I see how it could even be implemented. You'd have to max up 10 rankings before the game essentially even starts, before Ann to boot (which makes no sense), and then she moves away when she comes back. Where could it even be implemented?

That's what I'm saying too. How would it fit in? "Relationship" by definition doesn't exclusively mean romantic.
