With how vast the universe is it is statistically probable that there are other forms of intelligent life out there somewhere, after all, with almost infinite space the odds of another form of life must be rather close to one-hundred percent.
However, in spite of our best efforts, we have yet to get into any form of contact with these other species, why is that?
We have three scientifically probable explanations
1. They're not much further than we are, if any, so there is practicaly no chance for them to be able to actually reach across the stars and communicate with us, or in other words they're too far right now
2. They have found us and find us to be so primitive and weird that we are not worth their time. Simply put, they're kinda trying to ignore us, pretend us humans don't exist for as long as they can
3. They have been around for some time, attempting to guide our evolution and development in a way that seems as natural as possible, all the while careful to avoid any obvious appearances.
Of course, there are many other theories going around, but those seem to hold the most scientific ground
