Bad Gifts?
What do you do, when you got a gift, you don't like? My Situation is, I got amazing T-Shirts from my sister and Game, Trials Fusion to be specific. Problem is, the game isn't fun to me at all, because I rage at such games or get bored of them. I will most likely not play it again. The thing is I don't know how to tell my sister, because I like her too much. What do I do?
I'd say that unless you want to just throw it away or re-gift it to someone you know who does like those kinds of games,it'd be best if you politely told her that you appreciated her gift, but it wasn't exactly the kind of thing you'd play regularly. Now,if you'd wanna ask for a receipt and go refund it,I can't help you out on that one. Not that I can help you out anyway, but i'm just saying what sounds logical to me.
I am not an expert in such matters. Consult your doctor before using my advice. I am not legally liable if you hurt your sister's feelings.

Nah, she is a very nice person, I'll think she will understand, maybe I give it to one of my classmates, they would enjoy it, after I told her. Thanks for the help. ^^
Cool,go you. Good luck. Break a leg. Fuckin, whatever, you're a nice person,i'm sure that you'll pull it off.
Hehe, thanks for saying that.^^
You can do whatever you want with it. It's yours. Unless you have a crazy friend who is obsessed with finding each gift they give you every time they see you, most people don't care if you don't like it and decide to give it away, resell or whatever. At least you're 1. Getting cash for it, to get what you want, so it is essentially still THEIR gift, or giving it to someone who might like it more. I don't get why some people feel so guilty about this.

I don't get why some people feel so guilty about this. I'm pretty sure it's because Aki's sister was the one who gave the gift that Aki feels guilty about not liking it or wanting to return it. It can't be that simple. I'd tell her if I were you, Aki. Cause at the end of the day, you're still sisters.
Thank you. And well I am a person who cares more about others than myself, so of course I worry.I'll tell her. ^^
Think of it like this too if you start getting worried about it or feel you can't: "If you can't discuss it with HER, then who can you?"
Last year my grandma got me an Xbox One game, but I only have a PS4. I just returned it and used my own money to buy the game on PS4.
My dad keeps getting me power tools.... I just let them rot in the garage.
Can't you tell him to,you know, stop getting you power tools?
I have, he just brushes it off and keeps doing it.
That sounds like bad gifting etiquette. Can't you sell them or something to show that you don't want OR need them?
That wouldn't solve anything, He wouldn't know I'd have sold it unless I told him. Then he'd get all pissy about me getting rid of his gifts.
Uh... Get your mom to tell him that you don't appreciate his gifts?
She won't talk to him. Bad Blood.
Godamnit. Ask him why he keeps giving you power tools.
I have, he just brushes it off and keeps doing it. If he keeps doing it despite that, I say start selling them. Don't let them rot. They're always in high demand.
