Setting Up
Okay, I have had my character summon a Persona, it will have four healing skills, which I have already decided on. But I need four attacks that will work with the Persona, he is using Titania the Empress Arcana. Note: Titania is not tied down by a specific game, so recommend any attack skills that will work.
I don't think this is a "talk" topic.
I didn't know which one it could properly go in, on other sites the RP tab was strictly meant for RP moments as in actual roleplays while the other tabs could be used for questions and help.
Seems like a talk subject ot me. RP is for IC stuff, Persona is more for games.
Perhaps settling on a elemental affinity would help? Unless you have that decided already. Other than that most people kind of wing it with most skills using more descriptive attacks rather than specific skills. Of course writing down skills can be helpful to recall what a persona is specifically capable of. P.S.: This is a talk subject. Relating to RP doesn't mean it has to be labeled as such though perhaps it could also fit under the persona tag.

Someone I know suggested sticking with Ice for Titania to represent Sataki, but that is done through the healing skills already, so I dunno, I suck at choosing attack based skills.
Though I could go with the whole descriptive attack thing...
Friedyne and Mafreidyne are skills she learns naturally. Not sure if that helps, though.

I think this is a "talk" topic.
If you'd like, going full support and choosing status inflicting skills and a buff or debuff may be what you're looking for instead of attack skills. Although, at least one elemental attack would probably be beneficial to have.
I guess other than the four healing spells, I could have something that boosts attack and defense while using ice skills which if I go the descriptive route... I could create quite a few attacks with just the ice itself, even a few defensive things.
Gamma does something similiar with ice except instead of healing and support he rips things apart with tendrils of darkness.
At the moment I primarily use the darkness as a form of restraints, think conjured rope, with the extra condition of being able to freeze things it touches. Though I do plan on expanding on that eventually, we’ll see when that progresses
Anyway, welcome to the site. Persona in RP I'd say is a bit more relaxed, or can be if you'd like. So personally I wouldn't worry about being specific with skills. For an example of what I would do is instead of saying "Bufudyne" just say they have "Ice" or "Bufu" and get creative with what you can do with Ice powers. So I wouldn't be as concerned with having a set skillset, just make sure you have an idea of what you want them to have, think about how you can play around with that. Just make sure not to go too overboard and keep it somewhat balanced, y'know?
Okay, this helps quite a bit, I guess one ice skill will be enough in that case while mainly having support skills.
Question, if a support skill is locked to a specific Persona... I can't use it right?
You could, there’s plenty of people who use persona specific skills on their own custom personas. Some people even make their own skills but if you were to go that route I’d recommend not going too crazy as complications can make using that skill difficult with having to explain it sometimes. For example my weapons which were given to this character by another individual don’t deal physical damage and instead bypass all but magic without leaving a mark. Instead they absorb blood in exchange for granting me more health or in the case something doesn’t have blood it would drain its energy instead. I don’t mind it too much but I do have to explain this effect whenever fighting someone who hasn’t seen it before.
I think this is fine for support? Masukukaja- Increases the users and their allies speed for at least ten minutes. Marakukaja- Increases the users and their allies defense for at least seven and a half minutes. Matarukaja- Increases the users and their allies for at least five minutes.
The time limit gets lower depending on how useful it is in battle, well from Sataki's point of view as he believes dodging and tanking is quite useful in battle.
Wait, I said that wrong...
Oh wait no, that's right, ten minutes for speed due to him seeing it as the most useful, seven and a half minutes for defense... yep, that's right.
That looks good but most here actually still do use turns. A turn is usually done after everyone states an action as sometimes people can take a while to write up their action. Once everyone states an action the one guiding the thread or the GM will post and thus a new turn will begin.
