Umm, IDK how to get more friends at school Just walk up to the kids sitting alone and check out what they're doing. That's how I met my squad.
Oof, but watch out for the kinds of friends you make. The dude responsible for introducing me to anime turned out to do drugs later on in middle school.
I suggest clubs. If that doesn't work, try being friends with bees.
Why not come onto the chat more? I've met quite a few cool people that way, even here.

I can't say too much myself, I was pretty ostracized my entire life pretty much. Try clubs, or talking to people in classes if you go to school. Maybe try to find that person who's always alone. They'd probably want a friend.

If it doesn't work at school, he can always make friends elsewhere. Why limit himself?

You're definitely right, but I was referring to how he asked for advice on how to make friends at school specifically.
I guess I can try clubs, but none of them interest me at all. The gaming club we have is only board games. Thanks for tips n' stuff as well!
Prove your superiority in Mortal Combat, and no one will question your authority. also board games are rad

I was not very popular in school, but I did find a few friends that I'm still in contact with. I'd just say try to pick an interest in common and start from there, and absolutely don't try to fake who you are. You want friends, not popularity (and also usually faking does not bring popularity)
Talk to the people sitting close to you, and bribe them with food. If all else fails, give up, go to the library, and spend your lunch hour with internet friends who are far superior
