My thoughts on RWBY vol. 5...sorta
Too much exposition, and not enough fighting. They also seriously need to figure out how to do group battles because...hoo boy that was not good at all. Some of the 1-on-1 stuff was decent to great (Raven v. Cider), but again there's really not that much. I will say that even though Adam v. Blake doesn't even really qualify as a fight, I like how it played out. Speaking of which, Yang, Blake, and whatsherface camo girl had some nice development, but they're pretty much the only ones. I guess there's also Raven, but still. My favorite part of the volume has definitely got to be the bad guys finally taking an L. After rewatching the series again because meh why not, it got old watching Cinder and her crew just toy with and squash everyone.
Everyone has diffrent Opinions, I am enjoying this Volume so far a lot, mostly because you got some tension here, some heartwarming stuff there, but most satisfying is seeing People, you grew so much to hate, fall from their grace Adam and Cinder duh, I laughed at Adam last Episode. For me there doesn't have to be that much of fights, the fights we got were alright. What I mostly look forward to after this is the Soundtrack. I need the Path of Isolation and All things must die. My fav volume was still kinda between 4 and 3, because 3 had a lot of funny and sad moments and 4 helped to overcome the sad moments. But 5 also got close to my heart, I like lot of moments there. (Also Kali and Ghira grew on to my heart the most) So yeah I am more a story person than a fight scenes person.^^
What even is RWBY? I have never heard of this nor can I even guess what the letters mean.
Never said I wasn't enjoying it and I like the story, but I think the exposition went a little longer than necessary and for a series that got famous, at least from what I've seen, for awesome fight scenes, this season could've been a lot better.

What even is RWBY? I have never heard of this nor can I even guess what the letters mean. Rwby is a series produced by Rooster teeth and created by Monty Oum. I'll just leave the first Episode and the trailer for how it looks now here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sGiE10zNQM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0WeiG2-HRQ Shouldn't be too much of a spoiler

I see, I can understand that. Mostly I don't care that much about that, was what I was saying. ^^
Eh, I liked it, rather preferred the direction the series has taken though Volume 5 does have it's problems, especially with how awkward the last few episodes were battle-wise, lots of standing around which was hilarious but can't say it was appropriate. Personally I don't mind it, I know people are mad that there wasn't fighting, but if I may insert an unpopular opinion, the fight scenes in RWBY were never that great, never really that awesome. The entire series has maybe three fight scenes I consider memorable in any regard. Volume 5 is tied with 3 now though for my favorite opening theme.
I agree with Hibiki, Triumph is a awesome theme as a opening. But yeah, it's mostly the soundtrack itself that is the strongest aspect for me. Even though in Vol 4 I had more songs I love, but we didn't got the full for vol 5 too. In 4 I mostly love Bad luck Charm, This life is mine and like morning follows night. Lusus naturae is also a song that I love to hear, so I hope the soundtrack will be as great as the others.
I oddly feel like I need ta watch this....unfortunately, I'll mostly forget bout watching it
Watch it you fuck. It's a good show.
I know I should.... But 99.9% of the time I forget, or I just waste my time of this or on YouTube...or discord, or literally anything else

Stop your shit before I slap it. Focus your mind, expand your focus and achieve nirvana if you have to. Just watch it. It's good shit.

They may not be necessarily "great", but they're good enough for me to see how they're a draw. Plus this volume was building up to that brawl at the end and it under delivered. My favorite opening is still Volume 4's. 5's is 2nd.
