Celestial Heaven or Hell: The Mansion of Fear
*when we last left off, our heroes found themselves at the front doors of a mansion that was in a seemingly generic creepy forest. Now, our heroes are ready to go into the mansion after their break. Be brave, heroes! Star depends on you!*
The moth-winged woman slowly walks towards the mansion, spreading her wings. She examines each window, door, and crack she can see.
*Asha starts walking towards the mansion, her spear pointed to the ground.*
What is this place? Say "It's a mansion" and I will stab you.
As Bona walks towards it, he looks at Asha.
Well, other than a mansion, I don't know. But it's giving off this creepy vibe. Like a ghastly vibe.
Hmm... I'm not sure...I think it might be a spare home that father uses when she doesn't feel like building anything. At any rate, the core should be on the other side...I think. I'm not entirely sure. It could be under the mansion or something. Well...you guys should head on in. I know I can't go in, seeing as how I'm not here at all.
*There's nothing really to mention about the mansion other than it's a mansion, and it's red. Anything on the inside is too hard to see from outside...*
On it, Marisa.
With that, bona heads inside, but shivers a bit beforehand.
With a few quick flaps, Mot'Aru soars upwards, trying to look into the upper floor's windows. She holds her stone tightly in her hand.
*the inside of the mansion is...very big. There's a grand staircase leading up to the second floor, and hallways going in every direction. Also, it's all red... except for the wood and metal stuff that is to be expected of a fancy mansion. The wood is a pale white, while the metal is a deep black. The windows of the upper floors are barred and closed with their blinds shut, so it's no use looking through them.*
WOAH...Its huge....
*Asha enters and looks around the entryway.*
It is a nice place. If it weren't for the nature of this world, I would say it was almost welcoming. Be careful. There is undoubtedly something in here that wants to kill us.
*Asha starts walking down a random corridor, spinning her spear into a position she can use to stab anything that could charge at her from the shadows in the mansion.*
Barred windows. A pain. Mot'Aru glides around the mansion, looking for any cracks in the wooden exterior. Even a small one would do.
*Asha walks down a corridor...only to walk back into the main room out of one of the halls on the second floor*
Guys, I think there's something up with the mansion...that, or something is manipulating the halls around here...
*Meanwhile, Mot'aru won't be finding any cracks in the mansion. There's absolutely no way to get into the mansion besides the front doors*
In a flash of silk, after opening the door, a white moth flutters in. They fly up to the ceiling and land there, looking down at the different halls from this "center point" to get a good survey of the layout.
ENCOUNTER!
*Two Dark Soldiers and a Dark Mage run out from one of the halls.*
Be careful! Those may look like humans, but they definitely aren't! Watch out for the spears the soldiers have, and remember to take care of that mage and you should be good.
*Asha sighs*
You don't say. Hmm. How about...*
*Asha spins her spear and stabs it into the ground, sending a line of rock spikes down the corridor Asha emerged from.*
I have not thread with me to map this labyrinth. I do have something else though. Where shall this emerge? As I wait, have at you.
*Asha sends another line of rock spikes down the corridor the enemies emerge from*

An encounter. The moth stays on the ceiling, trying to sense the emotions of these new beings.
*the Dark beings manage to walk around the rock spikes, and begin advancing on Asha. They have a ways to go, but the Dark Mage tosses a dark fireball at her while walking over to her. The dark beings don't have any emotions in them it seems.*
Mere vessels. Mot'Aru toys with an idea, but instead just flutters off down a random first floor hall.
OOC: okay, let's try this again.
IC: *yadda yadda spooky mansion the above never happened because it was so short.*
Mot'Aru walks inside. She knows any other approach is useless.
Now, let's try this strategy this time.
*waiting on at least three people btw. Because if only one person joined, it would be boring*
Before long, a young girl wanders into the forest. She holds the bright, silver ring on her left hand close to her chest, as though to provide her comfort through the strangeness
This is the kinda place you find those monsters, right?
Soon enough, the girl, with her startling blue eyes finds the mansion, bearing witness to Mot'Aru walking inside, the girl hurries to catch up
H... Hey, you shouldn't be doing this kinda thing alone.... Right? Who knows what could happen
The moth-winged woman looks back at the girl, then keeps walking ahead without missing a beat.
That is right. I have little fear of what may happen, but I will need allies to succeed in my mission.
Her voice is flat and emotionless. She tries to sense the thoughts and emotions of this girl. Young, a little scared.
I assume you are not used to this.
Anon walks by the mansion and immediately notices Mot'Aru. He then walks over to where they are.
Hello again, what are you doing currently, miss? I'm quite... Interested.
Shinji steps up to the house and takes a deep breath
Another foray yeah? Let's get this done.
He then takes a look at his companions, moth wings and another girl, this might not end well
Stay close and don't wander off, we don't know what's in here.
The girl nods to Mot'Aru, following them inside
Y.. Yeah. I... Well.. I only started this kinda stuff three days ago... I'm still getting used to it

Hello again. I am merely following the wishes of a small group, and maybe taking a chance to get something for myself. But enough of that. This task won't be simple.
She spreads her wings and flies up to the second floor to look around.
Risako takes a deep breath, looking around. She's a bit more comfortable in a mansion, though the colors are a bit off... Heh, color. That's what it is after all. The girl giggles and runs up the grand staircase, forgetting her fear
Come on everyone, there's probably something cool around here
This is giving me bad vibes...
Following the rest of the party, Shinji steps up the staircase slowly,
watching his back. He didn't trust anything in here
He... seemingly smiles and follows Mot'Aru.
I see, I guess I shall tag along even if this won't be easy.
He makes sure to have his revolver at the ready.

As expected...
Shinji pulls out his axe and runs into battle, tackling through the 2 soldiers with a shoulder tackle to get to the mahe. Raising his axe up high above his head and bringing it down like an executioner on the mage
Don't get in my way.
Risako shrinks back, to the back of the group at the appearance of these.... Humanlike monsters.
O.... Oh... Um.... A... Are those ghosts? A... Anyways. Sorry, just... Let me...
Risako takes out her ring of the purest silver, holding it in her palm before allowing it to transform into a silver gem, with gold bordering. She holds it close to her chest, before being engulfed in a faint, silver light. Once the light fades, her outfit is replaced with an elegant, silvery gown, accentuated by a silver hairpin
O... Ok... I'm ready now.
*Geist finally mustered up the guts and walks into the mansion*
Calm down Geist... You got this.
*he sees the two dark soldiers and he instatnly readies his Khvostov auto rifle*
Oh wow... this is going to be fun.
Mot'Aru waves a hand, speaking as a cocoon surrounds her.
Please protect me. I cannot fight, even if I can influence these beings.
*Shinji chops off the mage's head, not expecting him to actually charge at him. In the far distance, you can hear Star...*
D-DECAPITATION!!!
*The soldiers, not expecting Shinji to run at the mage, run towards everyone else in a panic, trying to stab them*
*he aims at the two soldiers*
Not on my watch!
*he fires five shot at the two soldiers*
Anon takes out his revolver, he was expecting a fight.
Alright, finally time to get back into action.
He fires a regular bullet at one of the dark soldiers, not attempting to use an elemental bullet yet.
Don't you worry lady, I got this!!!
Risako holds out her right hand, a long, ornate staff with a silver crystalline orb at the end forming in her grasp. The orb at the end glows with a faint silver light
Lets start, binds of hope!!
Risako steps back just in time for four golden chains to emerge from the ground beneath her. The chains swirl and attempt to wrap around and prevent both of the soldiers from moving
Seeing the enemy chained up, Shinji runs up and strikes at the back of one of the soldiers, hitting with all of his might
If this is all we should be good. Don't waste all your energy on these scum.
ENCOUNTER COMPLETE! THAT WAS WAY TOO EASY!
*The soldiers get destroyed and start fading into black mist, the same happening for the mage.*
Well...that was easy. So...if I had to guess, any of these halls will lead to our destination...
*he drops a empty mag and loads in a new one into his rifle*
Well then... care for us to advance then?
*he starts walking down the fall*
Risako giggles excitedly, this stuff really isn't that hard, is it? The girl glances around, her previous nervousness vanishing in the rush
Don't worry about me, I could do chains like that in my sleep!!! And you should see what some of my friends can do.
With that, Risako skips off down the right hallway, looking around for anything that might catch one's attetntion
Anon unloads his revolver and loads in what seem to be light elemental bullets.
Alright, let's get moving.
He simply follows the rest of the group.
ENCOUNTER!
*When everyone enters the next room, they see Dark Knights, Dark Archers, and Dark Mages, two of each*
Be careful, this doesn't look as easy as that first fight.

He sighs as he fires a light elemental bullet at one of the archers.
This is a complete waste of my time.
Right, well don't get cocky. Those chains might not hold down everyone.
With a stiff grunt, Shinji follows down the right hallway with his axe dragging across the floor, cutting into the fabric of the carpet, however when he reaches the end he sees the small army in front of him and opts for a bit more firepower, pulling his evoker out he fires it once and Castor X slams down on the floor as gunfire rains down on them all
A little Riot Gun should take them down a notch
Risako grins and turns back to Shinjiro as they walk down the hallway
I'll be fine, I've fought scarier things than the....
She nearly walks into one of the knights, and jumps back in surprise. Staff still in hand, Risako backpedals and points it at the nearest knight
S... Starlight shooter!!
A scattershot of light bursts forth from the end of the staff, peppering both of the knights with her magic
*the knights, being knights, have shields that they use to protect themselves with, as well as the others that got behind them, lowering the damage they took from the attacks. Meanwhile, the archers prepare a volley of arrows and aim at the party. The mages light the arrows on fire with dark flames.*
Risako looks up, those big knights look to be kinda tough, they're taking hits pretty well... She can't help but notice the magic, glowing bows... Whatever's happening there, best not to give them the chance, she steps back from the knights, and slams her staff against the ground
Binds of Hope!!
Four golden chains emerge from the ground, this time around the archers, and, like earlier, aim to bind the two archers together and deny them the chance to fire
Tch! That isn't good.
Shinji watches the arrows being prepared and decides to try and speed up the process, with his persona.
Let's see how you deal with getting crushed.
With another gunshot sound, Castor X runs forth and slams down on the knights, trying to crush them under the force of the persona

*the archers get trapped in the chains, dropping the arrows. The mages retaliate with dark fireballs, pissed that their combination attack was stopped. The knights get pushed back, but still hold strong*
Risako laughs again, glad her fighting's working out so well. Yet, her eyes go wide at the fireballs, she stumbles around, narrowly evading the first before shouting
B... Barrier field.
A magic circle forms between her and the enemies, dark fireball slamming into it, the force pushes Risako back a little, yet the barrier stands strong.
Y.... You have any good ideas grumpy guy?
Three turns have passed.
Flames provide an opening for the cocoon to burst open, revealing a large, moth-like beast. With a screech, the minds of the enemies are suddenly assaulted by an unknown force... somewhat like a Psi-element attack.
The fireballs slam into Shinji but be stays up, watching the enemy before turning to the girl and nodding
Yeah, I've got one. Cover me and we'll crash through all of them at once.
With that said, Shinji power charges to prepare for the next strike as sparks fly from his arms, ready to crush through them all
Keep that barrier up and then start running towards them, it should knock them around, freeing them up for a singular strike from my persona yeah?
*the barrier blocks the fireballs. The mages start working on getting the chains off the archers before they cover their heads from the mental assault! The knights are able to cope with the assault, but they don't look too good.*
The moth-beast screeches again, dealing another blow to their enemies' psyches. Even its allies can feel slightly disoriented by this.
Risako blinks and starts shaking.... She looks back at Shinjiro, a little frightened... And... Dizzy?
She's starting to get a headache from all this
Y.... You want me to....
Risako gulps, looking over towards the knights. They're quite a bit larger than the girl, a little intimidating too. But... People are counting on her. Risako takes a deep breath, refreshing her barrier and changing it from a flat, magic circle, to a sphere around her, before charging the knights in hopes of them bouncing off the barrier and out of the way
H.... Here goes nothing!!!
Seeing the charge done and disorienting all the enemies, Shinji smirks a rare smile from under his beanie and blue energy begins to conjure at his feet
Alright, let's kick some ass. Castor X!
With another blast of his Evoker, a giant force begins to fall down from the sky down, a massive meteor crashing into the battlefield and striking any in it's path. After that strike Shinji is left tired, it doesn't help that the moth is also dealing damage to his psyche
Hopefully thats all...
ENCOUNTER COMPLETE!
*Between the ramming, the mental assault, and a fucking meteor, the enemy party gets wiped.*
...wow...that was kinda overkill...uhh...I don't see any way forward...guess this is where we'll set up a base? At least for now. You guys should maybe get some rest.

The moth plops down on the floor, its legs tucked under its body like a cat would do. Every breath it takes brings the faintest of whispers. Its eyes apparently can't close, because it doesn't even blink as it rests.
Risako, who happened to have run into the middle of a group of enemies when Shinjiro summoned a meteor on them, would immediately try running back out. the meteor missing the girl, but the shockwave shattering her barrier and sending her out flat on her face.
O.... Owie....
Risako would slowly get herself off the floor, that Shinjiro guy's such a jerk, but... S... She can do this. Its nothing I can't handle.
W... We're taking a break now? A... A.... Alright then. I can do that
Shinji hearing the call for a rest he takes a place next to a wall and leans up against it and pulls the beanie over his eyes, giving the kid a couple words of encouragement before dozing off
