I think I’ll do a top 3 for this 1. Hector/Ephraim. I was going to split them into 1 and 2, then I realized I like them for basically the same reason, they’re badasses in both cutscenes and gameplay, no one can just run through an army like these two. 2. Micaiah. She’s an interesting character, starting as a well-intended recluse trying to make their little corner of the world into a better place and evolving into a leader, not by choice but simply because there was no one else for it. Too bad she usually sucks statwise. 3. Chrom. Chrom is a simple man who believes in friendship, good, and free will. He doesn’t really get any great character development, but he doesn’t need to. Chrom is a good representative of Awakening as a whole. A nice little homage to the series that, while it might not bring anything really new to the table, manages to be a good time overall

I also agree on Hector and Chrom, but I am also very fond of Alm and Eliwood. Alm because he was pretty determined in character and even though some of his choices were wrong, he fits well as a leader of the deliverance and as a character. Roy's our boy. Ha Ha. Kill him. I hear argument's Elincia's a lord, so let's go with her. I like her character. She grows from the nervous princess in Path of Radiance to someone who is willing to stand for what she believes in, signalled when she becomes a PC in Path of Radiance. She's kind but still willing to do what's best for her country, which is shown when She is willing to sacrifice her own surrogate sister in order to stop a rebellion to proove that she is strong enough to rule Crimea to Ludveck and his mob, but also acts on her beliefs if she believes it is right, as shown where she joins the Laguz Alliance in Act 3 against Begnion despite the fact she is Beorc herself, similar to Ike but with a bigger in universe impact, being she is the ruler of a nation. I don't really know if really counts, but I like her enough to count her as one. Also, Eliwood is pretty good (Better than his son anyway), Hector is a bro and Lyndis needs more love. I like FE7 to skip over them. Now then. When's the Worst FE Lord thread? I have a few people to complain about if that ever comes to pass.
