Natsuki was waiting outside of the school with her copy of her manga that is inside of her backpack and chewing bubble gum under the clear and sunny skies.
*inhales* *exhales* I've been waiting to do this for a long time.
She then started to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for her to come.
Renox, a Guardian passes by Natsuki, holding a bag over his shoulder.
You lost kid?
Natsuki was about to take a nap until she jumped up a little and saw Renox.
Ahh... Oh sorry. I'm not lost, I'm just wating for a "friend" to come. I need to talk to her about something...

His cobalt helmet retracts to show his face, hair being very messy and his neck having small actuators and wiring.
Aren't you one of the students who participates in a literature club or something?
I'm sure she'll be here soon enough.
passing by on her own way home, Sayaka takes the chance to sit down next to Natsuki, smiling at the somewhat older girl
hope you don't mind if I join ya. I've still got quite a ways to walk and could use a little rest
Natsuki heard Renox's question.
Yeah, I'm in the literature club at my school. This school never had a literature club so I decided to make one at the school. I feel happier there. Reminds me of the other literature club I use to be in before I moved here.
Natsuki looks at Sayaka sitting by her. She didn't hesitate to welcome her.
No, that's fine. It's nice to have some company. Anyway, I'm pretty sure she ain't coming anyway. I doubt she'll ever come.
Natsuki sighs heavily and looking down at the ground with a emotion of tension.

Renox's already pale skin grows more pale and frantically chugs a bottle.

A one eyed robot teleport into existence in a sparkle of light.
Goblin: Vanguard Mind, your heart rate has spiked from a healthy 78 to a dangerous 214.

Ahh! Jeez, I need to get use to this place. Anyway, what did you mean that you died there after graduating? Are you a ghost or something?
Natsuki was curiosly looking at Renox and Goblin.
Sayaka leans back on the bench, staring into the sky. Doubt she'll ever come?
So you've been waiting too huh? Can't say I'm too surprised. Anything can happen after all, its nice to keep waiting on someone, but just don't forget to move forward for it, alright?
(A pile of bones of what looks like a skeleton turtle, with light blue boots and gloves, it looks completely lifeless,with the wind blowing through its ribs. And black, lifeless eyes, appears from the ground)

Ghost: Greetings I am Guardian Renox's ghost. And yes he died around approximately in our timeline hundred and twenty years ago this timeline's Renox is a successful business CEO. From DNA scanning shows he was victim of a murder evolving around the beheading caused by bullies, hence I scrounged up pieces of metal parts and wires. Current Occupation is both a Guardian and a conduit of Vex network.
Renox: To summarize, I am already dead, ghost found me and I am a time hopping cyborg.
Natsuki was pleased to hear Sayaka's nice remark

Anyway, since you are here already, I'm waiting for a person name Monika. She's way taller then me, has pink shoes, brown hair and has a big white bow on her head. Not sure why she would have a large bow like that on her head but whatever. If she doesn't come in the next hour, then I'm probably going to leave. You can leave if you want to. You don't have to wait you know?
Natsuki then looks at Renox.
Beheading by bullies? I thought bullying now was worse today but good lord. Anyway, what you doing here in our time?
Natsuki looks at Dry Bones on the ground

(Suddenly, the bones start shaking, and the bone's starts connecting together, and every time they connect, a loud CLANK can be heard, and a few minutes later, a a really small skeleton turtle, as small as a adult leg, with yellow oval eyes, with the light blue boots and glove, is there)
CLANK CLONK!
Renox simply shrugged to Natsuki's question.
Renox: Another warlock by the name of Osiris asked me to go look around in the different time streams, makes sure no Vex are diverting time.
Ghost: That may sound dangerous but I am what keeps him alive. Every time he dies, I surge him with light which restarts and kick starts his heart and brain.
Sayaka grins and crosses her legs, finally setting her own bag down by the bench
Do I look like I've got somethin' better to do? I may as well hang around for now. If I do happen to see your pal Monika, I'll tell her to find you here. In exchange you can....
Sayaka pauses for a moment, truth is there are a few people she'd like to see. There's already a different Madoka here... Don't want to leave any confusion.... After a second, she thinks of something
There's another girl, round my height. Kinda long, wavy hair. Usually wears the same uniform I am. Her name's Hitomi Shizuki. If you happen to see her, think you can point her somewhere?
Sayaka finally looks down to notice the Dry bones, more importantly Natsuki's reaction
So, guess you're not totally new after all. You get used to dumb stuff like that. Guess we can get used to pretty much anything actually

Natsuki see's Dry Bones come to life in front of her.
Oh! Hi there. Can you talk....? What am I saying, pretty sure that you can't talk, your a skeleton.
Natsuki shrugs it off and looks at Renox and Ghost.
Wow. I wish I have that kind of power. However, I would rather not since that counts as being immortal. Immortality in my opinion, immortality means endless suffering.
Natsuki looks at Sayaka.
Oh really? Hitomi Shizuki huh? Do you and her go to the same school as I do? Anyway, I can keep a lookout for her to? She doesn't sound that hard to spot.
..clonk ponk...
Renox: You understand my pain then...
Ghost: He is immortal... but he too can feel pain to everything.
The ghost projects footage on the ground which shows of one example

Video Guardian 2: Holy shit he's actually bleeding out and slowly dying... should we clear out the enemies before we recover?
Video Guardian 1 and 2: Yeah I call dibs on all the loot!

Afraid not. Haven't seen her since I got here, she's probably still in Mitakihara. As for me, I went to this public school a while back, but everyone I knew there started vanishing.. So I transferred.... Into a school.... For birds.....
Sayaka's eyes open wide for a moment, there had to be a better way to phrase that, Sayaka tries to nervously laugh it off

Natsuki eyes widen from the video that she saw. She was starting to gag a little after watching the video. Making sure that she doesn't throw up.

Natsuki went silent for a moment and saw that Dry Bones was on her leg.

Natsuki looks at Sayaka.

Natsuki was closely examining at Sayaka, making sure that she has feathers on her or something like that.

Sayaka rapidly checks her arms and legs, rolling up her sleeves just to make sure she hadn't grown any feathers
They were accepting human transfers as part of some weird initiative, and I kinda just took the chance to get away from the other place... Felt kinda empty yaknow?
She startles back from Renox. When she saw the blue electricity, she puts her hand in her backpack and was about to bring out her manga.
Woah! C-c-calm down there. I didn't meant to trigger you there.
She looks at Sayaka for a breif moment, trying to make a smile while trying to calm herself.
O-o-oh really? At least the initiative didn't turn you into a bird, haha. Yeah, I can understand what you are going through. I felt empty here when I first came here.

Renox takes a deep breath and the small surge dies down.
Ghost: Renox has a different view of what it means to be a legend. He is to mad at the moment so I'll explain it. He follows the doctrine of Saint-14, which that a guardian who is remembered by not the weight of the deed but of how much the people loved them. Saint was was loved because he treated the people in the City as equal and not of a social ladder. My guardian sees the his fellow compatriots as glory seeking commandos who want to be legendary out of deeds. Old saying of Saint himself, "Who will remember you if you're not loved by those you protect."
Natsuki starts to calm down and moves away from her manga. She listens to what Ghost had to say with a expression of amazement.
This Saint guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He sounded more of a friend then some uptight asshole like most people I know. Anyway, do you and him go to school here too?
Sayaka grins back, staring up into the clouds, wasn't much to be looking for, but that's really all secondary anyways
Yeah, guess I dodged a bullet there huh? Well, if nothin' else, I guess I might be able to stop by every now and then to wait with ya. May as well stick together after all, bit better that way dontcha think?
Ina walks up to the school.
"Huh... Never saw this place before. Interesting....."
(Its still hugging natsuki's leg)

Ghost: He didn't go here, but he was a Titan Vanguard before Zavala took control. He tought new titans of what their powers represent and the philosophy behind each. If he were still here he would've been a wonderful philosopher in your school. Speaking of which, anyone in your literature club?
Renox: GHOST don't you even dare!
Ghost: Why not? I am just curious.
Renox: Hellooo! I got no neck!
He shows the mechanical parts in his neck.
Natsuki looks at Sayaka. She starts to smile more.
Yeah your right. It's best if we wait together to see if our friends come by. Anyway, do you read manga much? I have a copy of "Parfait Girls" in my backpack if you want to read it.
Natsuki see's Dry Bones on her leg, feeling tightness around her leg caused by Dry Bones.
Hey! The scary stuff is over, You can let go of my leg now.
Natsuki see's the mechanical parts on Renox's neck.
Oh... Well, I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be a problem. No one is going to judge you for it.
Anyway, we have a lot of members. I think we have about 10 people right now. You're always welcome to join if you want to.

Renox projects a screen showing a man with golden falcon helmet and hood with a bandana covering his nose and mouth.
???: Renox, have you find the Vex Construct that have been taking in subjects into the Infinite Forest?
Renox: No traces yet Osiris. But I will notify once I get a lead.

Natsuki looks at Sayaka funny. She was surprised that she knew what it was, despite a underrated manga.
Yeah, it's about these four girls who have these wacky adventures with each other. There is a part where they are at a ice cream shop and they are drooling over this one guy. I have a spare copy in my backpack if you want to read.
Natsuki brought out her clean and crease-free copy of "Parfait Girls" and tried to hand it to Sayaka.
Natsuki looks at Renox and hears the voice coming from the man with the golden falcon helmet.
I'm guessing that is your boss? He sounded really triggered.
She see's Ina.
Oh, hi there!
She see's the ears on top of her head.
Nice costume. Didn't knew Halloween was coming up.

Osiris: Renox... why is there a little girl next to you? And does she referrer to the Festival of the Lost?
Renox: Oh yeah, meet Osiris, original and former Vanguard Commander, master of the Vex tech.
Osiris: Nice to meet you and also thank you for adding in the former part of that title. Mercury is already a handful...
At Osiris' end a random tank comes out of a glowing teleport gate. The hatch opens up showing a another guardian piloting it. Osiris jumps out of his seat and research notes goes flying everywhere.
???: Hey Renox, how's Past Earth?
Osiris: Sunbreaker Mercenary Zidrez Vem what the hell are you doing?

Sayaka scratches the back of her head, would feel kinda bad about messing up someone else's manga, even if its by accident.
I mean, if you're sure its good, then I guess I'll try it out. I've been runnin' kinda low on material anyways

She then see's the tank coming out of the portal.
Huh? You guys time travel all the time huh? Anyway, how's Earth in the future anyway? Are there flying cars?
She says this while looking at Sunbreaker Mercanary Zidrez Vem, Osiris, and Renox.
She then looks at Sayaka.
No worries, I have like 3 copies of these at home. It's nice to have a back up you know.
She looks at Ina, who looked like she didn't like her answer.
Oh sorry. I forgot that this place has animal/human hybrids. Anyway, do you go to school here too?

Renox: We do have ships, energy weapons, three energy elements; Solar, Arc and Void.
Zidrez: We have on and off alliance with the Fallen aka alien bandits and we have hover bikes called Sparrows.
Renox: Where you CRASH ninety percent of the time! WHO straps rockets on a hover bike any ways!?
Osiris gets up and readjusts his notes.
Osiris: Humanity are at the edge of extinction due to the Vex, Cabal and Hive.
Both Zidrez and Renox: Wow way to be a wet blanket...
Natsuki looks at all of them with a shocked expression.
Oh boy! The future sounds really cool... despite humanity being extincted for sure. Anyway, can you stop Vex, Cabal, and the Hive in time?
Sayaka grins and scratches the back of her head, before accepting the manga and placing it in her schoolbag

Upon Natsuki giving her name, it occurs to Sayaka that she forgot to do the same until now. Sayaka lets out a little nervous laughter
Oh, right. Guess I got a little carried away. Name's Sayaka Miki, glad to be able to meet ya Natsuki
Osiris: I give Renox guerrilla missions on breaking apart the Vex network.
Zidrez: Cabal? BAH! we actually kicked the Cabal out of our Earth a year ago.
Renox: Out Nightstalker friend Rezak hunts the Hive like prey.
Zidrez: Uh guys... the tank if fall into the pit!
Osiris: Hold still Zidrez I will help you.
Osiris helps the Sunbreaker via grabbing the back of the tank and dragging it back.
"No. I just found this place, actually."
Natsuki looks at her manga being taken away from her hand. She starts to worry a little that she'll do something to it, but she see's that Sayaka can be trustworthy.
Nice to meet you Sayaka. Yeah, I'm terrible with introducing myself to people.... Anyway, are you doing well in school? Are you passing math right now?
Natsuki looks at Ina and heard her answer.
Oh okay. Anyway, how old are you? Shouldn't you be with your parents?
Noticing Ina's face that it looks like she has at least a toddler. She then looks a Osiris grabbing the tank.
Holy cow! What do you guys eat to do that kind of stuff?

Ah, yes, trustworthy, definitely the first word most people use to describe Sayaka. Yep. Anyways, after carefully tucking the Manga away, Sayaka scratches the back of her head with her left hand, glancing off to the side, an easy way to avoid looking anyone in the eyes.
School's kinda been a drag, least that much is normal. 'Course I'm doin' just fine, no matter how painful it might be. Not like I have too much to focus on right now anyways.
Renox's Ghost: Once us Ghost bring back our guardians for the first time, we accelerate cellular growth twenty times as average.
Osiris: The little light is correct. To outpace death our Ghost basically reversed time. Irony of that.
Renox's Ghost: ... Don't say that.
Renox: That witch came from the moon.
Zidrez and Osiris simply looked at him with a dead pan expression.
Zidrez: You still remember that shit when we first drew breath?! Wow you're more older then Osiris.

At this point, Ina is tired of telling people that she just looks young and is actually really old, so instead of giving a rough estimate of her actual age, she just makes up a fake one.

Natsuki hears Sayaka's answer. She grabs her left elbow with her right hand.

Natsuki looks at Ina and was surprised in what she said.
47? Jeez, what kind of stuff you have to do to look that young?
Natsuki then hears the answers made from Osiris, Zidrez, and Renox's ghost.
Damn... the future sounds pretty cool that's for sure. Anyway, it sounds like you guys have important things to do. Wouldn't Cabal, Vex, and Hive be trying to extinct humanity at any moment now? The though of that scares me.
She does this while having a anxious face.
I'm also failing math too. Maybe we can study together some day?

Sayaka twists the ends of her hair around between her fingers as she thinks, before finally giving an answer a few seconds later

Renox: Humanity doesn't discover all three for the next three hundred years Natsuki. So you're okay.

Renox: She'll be alright. I am a Vex Mind. Any ways I am hungry. Off to get some Hot Pocket.
Zidrez: Didn't you burn your tongue when you took a bite into one? Also nice to meet you little las.
Osiris: No wonder Zavala and Ikora put you two on recon and search and destroy duty for the majority...
Osiris rubbing his face in tiredness while Renox is off to eat and Zidrez drives out into the portal.
Sayaka was shocked that she was in 8th grade.
8th grade!? I thought you were at least a 2nd year at high school?
Natsuki was a little embarrassed by this. She blushes in embarrassment.
Yeah you are right, I would rather talk to someone who at least knows something then reading a boring textbook all day.
Natsuki waves at Zidrez.
Yeah, nice to meet you Zidrez! Anyway, you can hang around here Osiris and Renox. The police doesn't come here too often so you are fine.
Osiris: I need to guard Mercury. Vex continues to change it and I have to stop it.
Zidrez: Sure.
Renox: Once I am done sure.
Renox turns off the display and heads off to get some food and somewhere to sleep.
OOC: Sorry for the delay, I was a bit busy laughing. Apparentl Natsuki is like, 9 cm shorter than Sayaka. Never thought that info would be relevant.
IC: Sayaka herself nearly jumps, she seriously thought Sayaka was in high school? Well, guess the uniforms don't give that much away, all things considered. Sayaka tries to laugh it off
Wow, you actually thought I was older than you? Nah, I'm just fourteen. Honestly I might have made that mistake too if it weren't for the uniform. Looks more like high-school stuff.
That said, Sayaka would briefly look through her bag, careful not to bend the manga, in order to find her phone

I dunno about you, but I have yet to meet anyone who'd say no to free cake. I'm certainly no exception there.
Sayaka puts her finger on her chin for a moment. Manga as literature?
Never really thought about it honestly. Long as I find it enjoyable, I don't think it really matters if its some great piece of art

Well, for the most part I read action manga, especially hero stuff.

Sayaka blinks for a moment, squinting to look at the sun, before checking her phone to be sure. In a rush, Sayaka drops her phone into her schoolbag and stands

Sayaka waves cheerfully as she picks up her bag and runs off, still got a rather long night ahead of her, but it feels pretty good to have a friend again, especially one with shared interests
Natsuki was sadden to see Sayaka leave. Natsuki keeps telling herself that this didn't mean goodbye forever.

She see's that it was getting late to and so, she grabbed her things and walked away from the school. She looks back at everyone. She met some nice people. Even though she has to get use to this place, she needs to make some friends so that she can manage to live here.
