[OPEN RP] Investigation Team & P-Thieves vs. Inklings
A BIT OF PRETENSE: I was inspired to do an RP based on a video I saw that was published before they announced Inklings for Smash Bros., only this RP is centered around some Inklings who send calling cards to Atlus's HQ as well as the Sakura and Dojima residences threatening to hold massive Turf Wars in Shibuya and at the Inaba Junes if Atlus doesn't submit a fighter bid for a coveted spot in the roster, preferably a Megami Tensei character. It's a beautiful afternoon in Inkopolis. The Square is alive with the trappings of Inkling culture, battles are getting heated left and right as teams fight for supremacy, and one Inkling schoolgirl in particular is feeling rather high-spirited today. No, not because she's on a winning streak, but rather they had just announced another iteration of Super Smash Bros. within the the same week Aniplex had released footage of "Persona 5: the Animation," and it appears her kind will be featured fighters in this new (?) Smash game. An Octoling friend of hers, Tori, comes up to her with lemonades in hand and a school bag slung across one shoulder Tori: You're awfully happy today, Raquel-chan. What's up? Raquel: So, we're finally gonna be in Smash Bros., right? Might not be a big deal to some, but this is MAJOR to me. If Nintendo says that this is gonna be a new game- which I'm convinced it will be, then there's a possibility a Shin Megami Tensei or Persona character could get on the roster as well!

Another Inkling, a boy with a bowl cut, approaches the girls. Boy: I think I might know a way to convince Atlus to make your wish come true. Tori: I don't like where this is going, Jeremy-kun... Jeremy: You know how that Smasher fanatic Polod got to meet a Fox main by inking his ship in a Turf War? Well, we could hold a Splatfest in Tokyo if Atlus refuses to put in a bid for someone like Jack Frost, Yukiko, or even the Demi-Fiend. But in the spirit of your beloved Phantom Thieves, we'll send a calling card to them stating our intentions, and for the final push, send some more to the Dojima and Sakura residences. Raquel: It could work... But if a calling card is gonna go all the way to Inaba, shouldn't we have a second Splatfest on the Junes rooftop? Jeremy: Three points! And to top it off, we'll give them 72 hours to get in touch with Nintendo before things get messy.
