I think I made a mistake.
So we have this whole Romeo and Juliet play in English and since we had nobody to play Romeo I decided to step in but I have a lot of lines to memorize.
Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to test your limits and bring out a new you in the meantime!! Go for it kid, I believe in you!!!
Uh thanks but I get pretty quiet when It comes to performing in front of others who I haven’t even talked to.
easy solution there, just talk to everyone in the school. Then there won't be anyone you haven't talked to there and you'll have no reason to be quiet
No not the whole school just most of the class.
Oh, good, that's even easier then. Its just like, thirty people maybe as opposed to over a hundred
Easier said then done.
I’m usually the person who cracks a joke every once in a while or says something serious to get the group back on the task. I’m normally not heard or ignored all the other times.
Sounds like you normally just don't talk, which I mean, I do a lot. Its usually better to talk to people in small groups rather than a large one, that way its easier to be heard
I have to work with a group of 9 people and the only time I get to say something is when everyone is quiet.
yes, that is generally how conversation works, people speak up when the others are not and try very hard to fit closest into one of those gaps of conversing. Its one of those things, though you'll also need to be kinda loud otherwise you might get pushed out of your spot
You make a good point but I have a really deep voice that doesn’t really speak that loud unless I really try.
You see I would totally be flipping out if I was in your shoes, Light. I get a little nervous everytime I give a presentation, but a main role in a play? Out of the question for me. I say you study up on your lines daily and try to bring out the Romeo inside you my dude. Just don't be like the actual Romeo and try to hit on children, though.
I don’t hit on anyone at all.
Well that works too I guess. Give it your best at the play man!
Might as well call me lover-boy........that was a joke.
