Meanwhile I have to wait till christmas but got all 3 with Akechi and Shinji though.
I'll finally be able to play this weekend. I already brought them and everything. I can't wait to miss King Crazy's on All Night difficulty by 1 good and lose my mind all over again
Nes
Been playing p5d since last september *dab*
i have to wait until my local game store gets it in because best buy is being a bitch
I'm a little disappointed with the lack of an actual story thus far. Most of it is mostly social link interaction. Granted, it's mostly hilarious and I'm greatly enjoying it, I think I had a bar set with P4D. This game is more or less a sequel to both P5 and P4D, as they make comments about end game events, but you need to grind songs to unlock more story, instead of story making you dance.
I tried to watch a video of P5D and P3D, but it's so cringy... I got a bit further into P5D, but I just don't understand why they would accept a request like that.

The story is very weak, in my opinion. The side comments are absolutely hilarious though. Like, when Ryuji finds out about all the female confidants, and even Yusuke grills Joker for details. This game makes it clear that the PT crew has no idea who Joker all associates with, and I find that very interesting. If this story is canon though, it also confirms that Joker has no canon love interest, is an accidental flirt by saying bold things easily, and maxed all his confidants. This game also takes place after the events of the main P5 game. There are also more than 5 confidant levels in this game. Once you break the 5th event, 3 more spawn. I don't know if more show up after that, as I havn't unlocked event 6 through 8 just yet.
I will say that I'll have a very difficult time getting King Crazy on the final Last Surprise (lipstick edition) track. the PV in is is quite... distracting. I'm also a bit shocked that the US censors let that video slide in. (Not that I'm complaining)
wtf P5D and P3D are both fully priced games? For a rhythm game?
Yep. As of right now, It's a $30 game at best. P4D atleast had a genuine story mode. I'm reserving my judgment on that first, because I want to complete the content I paid for to see how much is actually hiding from me.
After getting King Crazy on all easy mode tracks, cleared normal mode, and began hard, I finally got all the story socials open and cleared. I can safely say that this game is not worth the price point. I did get some decent laughs out of it though.
I got the Endless Night Collection as an early christmas present, it's super fun imo. I especially love P3D for the new character models and us learning more about the P3 cast pre-Nyx. I like the whole concept that it's a competition between the Twins and Elizabeth for the best guest even if it's kinda dumb, but yeah, I can't say no to some nice fanservice.

I was meaning to look into that. Where in the timeline does P3D land, exactly?
I just bought these babies today and I cant wait til I try them up
Hmmm, I think in P3D, it takes place pre-Nyx since Makoto is there, Shinji is dead, and I think SEES mentioned to be really busy.
Lol, this event takes place at 15th September, Niijima's clock has shown me the truth A lot of thing doesnt add up at this game tho like how did the P5 crew can have the same timeline as P3 crew, theyre like way older than P5 ( because P4 takes 2 years ahead P3 and P5 should come in right around 2 years after P4 as well ) so unless they actually travel back in time this thing is a mystery Regardless, there is no doubt that this game is still good, having to see an old Persona game got revitalised is pretty satisfiying
I think P5D takes place post-game, actually. At the first cutscene when the PT all appear, I think Ren can make a comment about Morgana's form. Plus, Akechi's DLC is very, uhhh, yeah...
