I've been meaning to do this as well. I got halfway through the first palace before I switched games. Too many new releases lol. From what I've been seeking, it's not in possible, but it'll require you to min-max asap. Get the doctor leveled up so you can get SP Regen items. Outside of that, you're not getting many confidants done as you'll be using your time getting money for items Your palace trips will also take most of the week, as without the SP Regen, you'll need to return to fully recover. It's required you know who is weak to what, and to have every element covered. All out attacks will be your only saving grace, as they'll abuse elements against you for 1-hit KO. I'll be doing trial and error on this soon, as I really want to clear this challenge. Also, don't waste money on guns. Unless they have a stat boost on it, you're not shooting them for damage. I'll be abusing the network fusion quite a bit and using Isolation for bonus perks. So work with the twins confidant on that. Confidants like Togo's part switch may seem potent, but may be a waste of time if your entire team.isnt up to snuff, but may be worth looking into if your can't cover all elements.
Hmmm...seems tricky, but ok I just have to let my guards up all the time
I'm almost done with Kamoshida's palace, and I learned something very valuable: Besides from the standard elemental rock-paper-scissors schtick, doing Technical damage is going to be a godsend for you. First off, dont' let an enemy ambush you. Period. It's 90% death. If they get a turn in and hit you, you're done. Second, Don't get into a battle unless you can preempt them. If they get a turn in AT ALL, it can be death. Blue enemeis can be an exception, but if they're red, don't mess around. Third, for bosses, STATUS EFFECTS. If you can buff, buff. Debuff? Use it. Most "Sleep/Brainwash" won't work, but if you can pull off Shock or Burn, using a different element will hit them with a Technical bonus as if they were weak to what you used. It's key to ending the mini-bosses early with out them destroying you unfairly. . I may stop my merciless run after Kamoshida. This is a very difficult run, and I'm not having fun with it, to be honest, but if I clear him, I know I can beat the game. Each fight is feeling like a post-game boss fight, where you have to be as careful as possible. Prioritize healing and status effects over doing damage during bosses. Element weakness for trash mobs.
Also, Spend a day farming Succubus. Get one on your roster, and hold them up for an item. They drop Soul Drops, which will allow you to replenish 10Sp. This will be useful to burn through a palace faster. I have 4 days left and finally secured a route to the treasure. I didn't farm. I didn't know I should have.
Wow at least joker can secure the route already, I havent reached there yet tho, still at that floor before the tower, (where strong shadows are there), I keep wasting my sp trying to heal, do weakness and support so I always end up traveling from the same safe room every time ( the second one is usually the time I just sneaked out from the shadows ) I searched the net on tips as well but all they just said is to not play new game at merciless, Im glad that Phansite isnt like that. Ill be rooting for your fight Joker :)

Lol. I beat the Palace, and put the game down. Soo... here's the deal. It's required to get the Doctor to lv 2. This will get you access to Heal All medication (Party wide 100HP). You'll need 5 or 6 of these to counter Kamoshida's kill spike while waiting on Ryuji's slow ass to steal the crown. You NEED two people to attack each round just to progress Ryuji, so he doesn't get caught. The basic idea: Use Agi and Garu to hit Kamoshida, and Joker uses a Heal All item if needed, or use a single heal item. If MP is a problem, have Joker user Def Down with Genbu, and smack him with melee to do equivalent damage. Climbing the tower is quite aggravating, as I needed Silky for ice elemetns to take care of Berith (the knight on the horse), as he can 1 shot a character every turn. It got super aggrivating to deal with that. (Note: if you are not level 6 by time the tutorial tells you about viewing people's difficulty view thief mode, you are too low and need to turn around) A quick fix for an early game is Incubus' sleep power, which will give your team a free round to take a swing at things. Try not to heal inside the fight. Reserve your time for keeping enemies down due to weakness shots from elements and guns. Don't be afraid to save, first, run into a fight, and experiment to learn who's weak to what, then reload. I had to grind quite a bit, and I kept starting from the entrance, so I can keep stealing everything that's not nailed down, just to accommodate the very expensive heal all medication. As for the doctor: You may need to restart your game for this, but go to the library, get the boot that increases guts, study in the library for a chance to level guts, and use the bookshelf at night to read the book. Get your guts to lv 2 ASAP so you can get the doctor's second trial. I honestly don't know how the Kamoshida fight is possible without it. Unless you use the DLC persona =P
Edit broke on me, so here's some clarification: The Leblanc Bookshelf is located between Sojiro and the phone. The Library has a study booth in the back corner that has a chance to increase guts.
To beat kamoshida just make a slime with decent skills (it has phys resist and is level 10) and have the other characters guard the spike when he preps it. Every time he only attacks joker is basically a free turn with phys resist, that's it really, I only needed the meds once when he went ham on ryuji a bunch of turns in a row for some reason. Lucky punch is very strong against kamoshida because of the crazy damage boost on crits in merciless mode, obariyon has it and is level 9(?) I think, and also has phys resistance

Here's a really cheap trick. If you haven't downloaded the free skill card pack, do so and apply them to a Persona in a way that covers every element. Eventually you can replace them with dyne-level spells. I have a High Pixie from my first playthrough with an absurdly high level that makes every non-boss battle a curb-stomp.
Whoa, you guys are incredible. To be honest, I want to quit this challenge since the beginning, but after reading all these generous tips, I feel as though I can take him down. So thanks Update: I already secured the route, but still grinding. it took me almost a week to do this ( the game timeline )
You are welcome, Chie-senpai. Now go forth and secure the steak!
Yay, I finally beat that King Moron 2.0, took me THREE consecutive loss til I can beat him. What a relief :)
I have to load back the time before sending the calling card just to grind more money to buy more medicine. Right now Im focusing on working part time and will be going to Mementos soon, wish me luck
