Answer 1) Growth rates. They are pretty bad in Echoes because someone thought it would be a good idea not to update them. It's also why 95% of characters Res growths are like 3%.
Answer 2) Yes I know this wasn't a question. Fernand is one of the new characters added to Echoes. Faye is another one for the record. The last main one i'm not sure you've met yet but he's pretty awesome. Shame he isn't playable.
