WHEN DOES PERSONA Q2 in Persona 5 and the other games take place
Like I am confused by this and I need to know because I'm halfway through P5 and I hope that PQ2 won't have any spoilers for P5 like the dancing one did.

Judging by the intro, it's probably when they randomly entered their respective grind dungeon (Tartarus/ TV/ Mementos) or something. Last time, it was during the culture festival of both schools, so it could be somethin similar. Timeline, After Shinji is recuited, but before his death, after Naoto's dungeon and after Akechi is recruited but before the end of Sae's dungeon.

Persona 5 takes place around 2017, judging by the rise poster easter egg. Rise is about 20 in this, and just adding persona 4's time period, and there you go.

Cannonicaly, I believe P4 takes place in 2011. Since Rise was 15 in that game then P5 would actually be 2016.
