To be fair, he doesn't tell us much about his past besides the incident that caused him to have to switch schools. His past is truly shrouded in mystery, perhaps he did have some training before all of this. But why...?

In the Metaverse, our agility and power increases immensely. In a sense, while we are present in the Metaverse, we are the embodiment of rebels fighting against the cognition, so it is only natural that we have the ability required to get to the places that we are not suppose to reach.

Even someone as slow and brutish as Skull can achieve great feats in the Metaverse.
