I hate to ask, but since someone brought up Smite.
Does anyone play League of Legends and maybe wanna add eachother?
I only recently started playing and playing with friends is slightly less disease inducing than playing with strangers.

I'm still learning the game, like I said. I've been playing for maybe a month? I don't know exactly, so I hesitate to really say I main anyone, but I guess for the moment I've been maining Soraka?

Yeah mostly. If it's not Soraka I'm usually playing Morgana, Tristana, or Poppy really, those four are the closest I really have to mains I guess

So far I don't regret it, I'm having fun, I'm trash who already spent money on skins
The only things I don't enjoy is the people somtimes, most of the people i encounter are nice or silent but some people lol
there was once a Yasuo playing adc in bot with me when i was playing nami and he called me a useless and retarded support
then proceeded to go afk in the jungle

When I started playing LoL I played as an Adc (for about 6 months). I started with Ashe, then Miss Fortune, Catelyn and then Tristana, so I can really relate to you right now. After a while I just didn't wanna be the ADC, u know?

He was probably playing on a Smurf but still, I really don't like this about the LoL community. This is also part of the reason why I left.

the funniest thing to me about that Yasuo was the fact that we were in a Coop vs AI match? like theres no need to get so pissy
honestly that game was hilarious in hindsight, literally the most dysfunctional team
a yasuo who called me useless and then went afk, i was stuck in a stalemate cuz i couldnt push bot, we had a Veigar who quit the game 5 minutes in, a Garen who was so knew he didnt seem to know what "top, mid, bot" meant, and a Gnar who never talked but basically won the game singlehandedly

But yeah idk I'm still trying to find a role for me, it's gonna be hard figuring out who to main since I have fun with some tanks like Poppy, supports like Nami and Soraka,

Haven't played in a year or 2. My friend influenced me to play and is the origin for most of my usernames. I remember maining Viegar and Riven. I stopped playing because the community is uninviting, and I generally suck at MOBA styled games. Now I think it's my cousin's smurf account, as he loves the game (and is sadly now a part of the uninviting side of the community).

I used to play a lot a few years back, but now I just play ARAM with my friends once in a blue moon and I'm Actual Ass at the game ;; I would love to start playing again but I know that if I do, I'll end up not doing my assignments and sleeping at ungodly hours.

I very rarely have 1v1s with my friends. Last one I can recall is with a friend who had never played before, in which I played as Anivia (another main that I forgot to mention) and he played either Ms. Fortune or Caitlyn. I obviously won, and realized that it only matters who you play with. I would still play, but I don't own a computer.

I use to play LoL.
I joined right when Arhi was introduced, and I quit just before Yasuo was added.

I've missed a lot of what was happening, but the toxic community really burned me out.

It was so bad, if you gave one. single. compliment. you were automatically up to something and were accused of starting a new generation of toxic.

It was pathetic.

I don't know if I'm lucky or just not in the right game modes cuz everyone says the community is toxic but i
really haven't met that many terrible people ive met maybe 3-4 toxic people

What I speak of comes from my persona experience a handful of years ago, so things may be different.

From what I gathered, most of the toxic players are in the bronze division: A bracket that houses everyone who refuses to accept that they themselves are the reason they lost, and blame everyone else.

Most of LoL's playerbase is bronze.

To be fair, it doesn't matter if you are a gold medal winner at an offical tournament.
If you legit have 4 rookie members vs a party of 5 seasons players on voice chat, you are not winning.

If your team acknowledges this inbalance, that's fine.
It's when the 4 other teammates start yelling at one another like they personally murdered their families is when it gets old fast.

The server your account is in is often the continent you reside in, and there is no playing across servers. Iwai is European, so Hibiki likely resides in another region of Europe, Oceania or North America.
