Act I:
Lavenza was forced to quit her job in the velvet room since Akira had completed his journey. She became a maid and helped around the phansite.

Throughout her time in the phansite, she had witnessed the depression of the users of the site. This led to her becoming depressed as well.

What made Lavenza's depression worse was a story that HaruOkamura posted about Makoto being heartbroken because Joker didn't go to the movies with her. She became so sad that she went into a coma and died. Haru, feeling bad for what she had done, held on to Lavenza as she died.
