Honestly I would argue the Persona 3 movies are easier to get into than the games because they take the time to do some things like add explanations or development to plot points that just existed in the games
game is still the preferred experience for most id say but I think the movies do a good job of being well
an adaption

....this is entirely based off of my knowledge from having seen one of the movies though
