Favorite non-vidya things to do
What are some passtimes / hobbies we have outside of playing video games? Me personally, I very much enjoy drawing here and there (though I'm not that great at it,) and I'm also a big fan of tabletop games like DnD; as well as TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh, Force of Will, etc. I also like editing a certain wiki before I go to bed at night.

I do have both a part-time job and school though, so I'm fairly busy more often than not. I just do whatever when I have time.
Magic the Gathering, Tabletop RPGs.
i also have a fondness for tabletop rpgs, though i don't have many opportunities for them anymore!!

also, alcohol!!
I actually never got into Magic, hell I only just got around to trying Force of Will. I do like myself a bit of Weiss Schwarz here and there though.
Yeah, most of us are pretty well-aware of your tendency to get shit-faced from time to time.
Music (listening to), writing, reading (books, manga), watching anime and the odd cartoon and sleeping is kind of fun.
@hazama aw, you're making me blush!!
I sketch as well. I've also started doing drama with my school again, which I enjoy a lot.
I have a very low pressure work schedule so I have a lot of free time so I have multiple. I closet like to practice singing but it's all weeb shit everyone I know IRL would be confused at and/or roll their eyes at so I keep that on the downlow and I also am constantly trying to find Tabletop stuff to play with people which is why I jumped at the Persona Tabletop RPG post on this forum.

I like to play on the internet
@pure-anon
Don't worry, we all love you more for it

@Delta-M
I actually used to sleep a ton, but now I have the exact opposite problem

@Emerson
I've always wanted to give Drama a shot, but I'm a bit worried of embarrassing myself in all honesty

@LordCheesusCrust
Singing is another thing I always thought I'd be at least decent at, but never really gave a shot
@hazama I say sleep, but I just don't like getting up once I'm already slumbering. I also forgot to mention that I can play, and enjoy playing the trumpet.
Fun fact: I wanted to get into my school band, but you have to enter before your first year of middle school begins; no later.

During my last week of elementary school, a good 'ol fashioned tornado leveled my school, and I changed districts.

This new district started middle school at 6th grade, while my old one started at 7th. So basically, I was screwed out of it from the very beginning.

Throughout all of highschool I've seen the band doing cool stuff, and long to have been able to do it myself.
OOC: I just think when I have spare time.
That's messed up. Why wouldn't they let people join past first year?
By that point, the band is already far ahead of how they were to start.

They just wouldn't have time to teach one guy who's never played an instrument before everything from the first year.
@hazama
Trust me, it'll never go perfectly. You're certainly make a fool of yourself infront of people you know. I had to awkwardly hit on someone, yell 'DAMMIT' at the top of my lungs and stub my toe, and I literally threw something directly at someone's head mid performance. But it's a blast.
Mind you, I'm a VERY anxious person. I had worries running through my head every performance. But I met some great friends, and enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone.
That still blows.
No, it wasn't scripted to hit them in the head. It was a bomb.
I have an old friend I often discuss philosophy and medicine with. I enjoy those times more than almost any other times I could think of.

I enjoy exercising and cooking a lot, too, though am an amateur at cooking.
That's pretty crazy, but I started learning through my school district once the chance emerged so I wouldn't know anything else. I went to a private school where the band accepted anyone because we needed the numbers for marching season. So beginners got the chance to learn. The band had a strong history of being one of the top high school marching bands in the country if not THE top for years. It was hard work, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Theatre, comedy, writing, and music are the big ones
@HifumiTogo
I actually enjoy deeper conversations myself, but with my usual friend group they're usually impossible to have.
@hazama Some of my friends have been tested well above the the threshold for genius (though 140+ IQ is nebulous/hard to distinct 140 from 160) and are thus truly appropriate for that sort of discussion. Try having that sort of discussion with someone average and you'll see you either can not or they all think the same way.
My group of friends usually has a mixed bag of actual real conversations and...well...dumb conversations.
Mao
My group of freinds is filled with no one
Anime and video games are my only hobbies

well, i guess we can count some other things
i buy a lotta various model kits and puzzle things to put together, things like paper diorama things, mini lego sets, Gundam models, dumb stuff like that
I guess I'll also somwhat of a writer since I have a story that, i wish i could turn into a game, but for now, just writing lots of ideas
i also enjoy cooking, and by cooking i mean i cannot cook, but its fun teaching myself through experimentation
I played DnD too once upon a time
....We uh
don't talk about that
Drink coffee, take care of plants, take a bath. You'll have friends in no time!
all i do when not playing games is spend way too much time on tumblr and hang out with my bf
seriously someone take tumblr (and the internet as a whole honestly) away from me i'd be so much more productive...
oh, and singing persona songs is fun too!
Mao
I jave played DnD though, that counts as a sport right?
