Lol Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Engrish is just funny because it's a joke, but this anime tries to take it seriously, and oh boy...

If it makes you feel better, after Season 2 Episode 1 they basically never try to use English again

I have many ships but I would really only recommend Hibiki/Miku atm since theyre basically married (even the voice actors and production staff call them wives)

I would bring up other suggestions but its like
the other ships I enjoy would be like
Chris/Tsubasa but they dont get too gay until Season 2
Shirabe/Kirika, who you won't even meet until Season 2
also Garie/Micha is cute but again, they dont even get introduced until season 3 so

If you're on episode 5, you have met Chris, you just don't realize it. She's the girl in the stolen silver armor with the purple whip things. She's a villain for a good portion of Season 1 before becoming one of the protagonists.

im not very fond of tsunderes but chris gets a bit tsun towards tsubasa in season 2 its entertaining
season 3 they even get a battle duet

but for real all the girls are badasses
