Not really interested in paying a sub for FF14.

I tried it for a while, and have a guy on Gilgamesh, but overall the game really isn't that fun to me.
The grind for better gear killed the game.

That said, I loved the story mode.
If they can translate that fun story action into the post game, I'll come back, and even do a world transfer.

At what point did you stop? Because I felt the same way and came back with Kitagawa and the others and I love it. It gets good but the beginning is slow

Boss and I completed a dungeon and somehow it led to this. Do you really want to miss these shenanigans?

I stopped halway through the Spiral of Bahamut.
Couldn't get around Tiamat?'s (fight was on Bahamut's hand) instant death kills because of party wipes.

The constant trial and error gameplay, 8+ hours of party wipes and zero progress, constant stress from FC blaming everyone but their own inability to dodge (I'm just as guilty), couldn't get through Titan Extreme for the same reasons.

Then the constant 32man raid through the tower to get tokens for new gear that you could only farm so much of per week got old very quickly.

Ah, yeah I understand. Then you were at late game. Well I understand where you're coming from, but I think you'll be happy to know that things have changed, and it's rather better than what it used to be. Plus with new jobs and jump potions coming out soon, I think it would be a good idea to maybe.....2nd shot it? Plus, all of us actually know how to have fun.
