*Once more, the doors of the armory are unlocked, and the heat of the molten metal in the back of the store can be felt throughout. The faint feel of Dust particles is in the air.

In the back of the shop, Emerson can be seen putting the final touches on a set of Dust powered shoe extensions.*

*He walks into the store and looks for Em before just going into the back room* Huh shoes? Who asked for those, is that friend of Yu's Chie around now?

*Hibki walks in* Hey there. *She holds up her left hand with the gauntlet on it* can you make this absorb heat better?
Tatsuya
*He takes a look at it* Absorb heat better eh. What's it made out of?

*He talks to Tatsu without getting up from his work.*

Nah, they're for a friend of that Eggman guy. You might see him around.

So, I've got a prototype built up in the back, and some dummies to test it on. Gimme a minute, and I'll join you.

Oh, Hibki. Absorbing heat would mostly come from changing out the metal it's made of. I can do that, of course.

I don't know. A new strategy I found to make my punches hurt more is to use the opponents Agi skills to heat this up. Only problem is my hand gets so burnt when I do that.

Oh, in that case you'd want better heat insulation in the glove.

Have you tried.. Well your own magic would hurt too actually, I could most likely dig up something lowers fire damage.

Heat insulation would work. *She takes off the gauntlet revealing a very burnt hand.* How long would that take?

Normally your own Persona magic wouldn't harm you, true, but in this case it's heating the metal, which then harms you.
It's less Fire damage and more... burning your hand by being extremely close to heated metal.
Emerson
Maybe a few minutes. I've just gotta open it up, change out the insides, and sow it back up.

Well, doesn't matter.
*He takes the gauntlet, and brings it to a table in the back, and cuts it open.
He takes out the inside material, pulls out a thicker material from beneath the counter, and inserts it into the gauntlet.
He then brings out a needle and thread and begins sowing it back together.*

*He looks towards EWR-115 Reaper.*
Could you give me a moment? I'll be with you in a second.

I have my skills in the app. Which means I can use pretty much any skill. It's kinda usefull actually. To me it's as easy as switching personas for wild cards.

*He finishes sowing the Gauntlet back together, and sets it on the counter.*

There ya go, good as new. Should be much more heat-resistant.

So, you wanted a carbon fiber frame? Could you give me the exact dimensions of it?

*He takes out the pencil and notepad to write them down, motioning for FemBFMF04 to wait a second.*

Don't worry, I know about it. It's made of a metal known as Vamperium. You might have it in stock but just in case I have some here *drops some plates of vampirium* Don't worry, it never loses its magic. I would do it at home but I don't sharpen well.

I mean, unless you have something specific in mind, I can't just "upgrade" something. This isn't some silly video game where giving something to a blacksmith will magically make it stronger.

Wait really? I mean shorter sure but you shouldn't be that much weaker. Personas make people a hell of a lot stronger by default anyways, your body plays a part but in the end magic as usual overtakes the mundane.

Hey Blue! Yeah, they're right here.

*He hands Sonic a pair of light metal shoe enhancements. Fitting on his shoes perfectly, these sturdy Dust enhanced attachments have a slot on the side, the size for a Dust cartridge to fit in.*

Sorry I wasn't open yesterday. Something else came up, and I couldn't open. But, I do have this for you.

*He brings out a case, and inside are plenty of Air Dust cartridges, and a few of other elements.*

Air is what these things are made for, but they can also use other types. We've got Fire, Ice, and Gravity in here. Feel free to test 'em out for yourself.

Ahh understood Mig. Well we can find something laying around for you. Or build something, so what kinda swords do you like? Rapiers are easy to handle of course. I'm more a fan of longswords and broadswords. Hmm Katana isn't my style really but they're surly light enough. Scimitars are also pretty light weight.

I'd say a rapier, honestly. Maybe one that has an actual cutting edge along with stabbing.

Oh, that's Dust. You know Pyrrha or Yang? It's from their world. It's basically a naturally forming magic crystal there. It can be used for all kinds of stuff.
You even see Nacci in combat? Her forms run off it.


Mig, you want a stock one, or somethin' unique?

Hmmm, do you have any lying around? I might be able to use some of your cartridges in my sword with some modifications of course!

Well, the Dust into object process is... really complex. It took my weeks to figure it out with Nacci's design, and even more to get it on such a small scale with my Shortsword. And... it's expensive. Unless you can really pay that much... I wouldn't recommend it.

*Sees Kalib, but ignores him.*

*He walks around the shop before pulling down a rapier with a razor sharp edge and point then handing to Mig* So you planning to use your other hand for anything? Usually with a Rapier you'd carry a parrying dagger maybe a small shield.

The Rapier you're thinking of is a Fencing Rapier. It's not really meant for combat, just for sport really.

Yeah it's no big deal Mig, And no most people don't. I usually just hold my swords with two hands. I can also use my Revolver at the same time though if need be, generally people who haven't been either actually trained or fought for a long while don't consider that.

Dust comes in crystals yes? Most laser blades tend to use crystals somehow. Perhaps if we were add the non ground up form into said blade the elemental effects would apply?

Well, Tatsu and I recently worked out Light Dust, so I was thinking you could have a device on you to send a set amount of Light Magic into your body, which won't completely take you down, but can still take your health down to a reasonable amount for the Lance's effect.

Pancake, I do have a Dust lab on the lower floors, but it's a very delicate workspace. The smallest thing can set this stuff off. I'd kindly ask you not to use my lab.

Okay, I think I got it.

*shows Emerson a rough sketch of a single-edged rapier, with a thrusting point as well. No size is specified...*

Um... not actually sure what a good length would be...

*though it does note that the metal should be the best combination of low weight and strength. The hilt looks pretty standard, with a rather downplayed pommel and a hand guard that resembles a sort of wing. There were a few color notes, like "something bluey or purpley" for the hilt, and "white" for the guard.*

And um... what do you mean by... enchantments?

Depends on what you want. If you want a chestplate, I need bust, shoulder, and waist measurements. I'd also need multiple arm and leg measurements for pieces there.

A chest piece at the least, yeah. Well, and probably arms.

Something that could be worn under an outfit.

*He nods* Alright if you can take that this well more should be fine. No Hieroglyphein though. *Micheal sends a heavy beam of light into Kalib* If you can stand through that I'll be amazed.

I don't understand why everyone wants that. It's so... unreasonable. How thin do you think I can make armor without it popping out. The best you can do while still having the outfit is chainmail.

It's because most of us kinda get forced into various thief outfits when we go into Palaces or Mementos. And sometimes the TV World.

I mean my armor goes under my clothes... Of course it's also bullshit magic armor so ya know little different there.

*Kalib's eyes seem to roll back into his head but in a split second they come back and are focused. Kalib stomps his right foot down to anchor him and he bites down hard, straining every muscle to push back against the beam. After some time the beam slowly pushes him back a foot, and Kalib drops to a knee, grinning.*

Ha.......hah.......urf.....that was.....unpleasant....

*Kalib stands up once more.*

I think we should call it there....anything past this and I think I might see the light for good...hehe!

... So how does the armor even do anything then? Wouldn't it disappear along with your normal clothes when you change into the thief outfit..?

Forced? You guys can't turn those off? And mine at least are pretty damn tough. Plus they include whatever defense what you were wearing offers. And they give you some pretty neat skills when it comes to stealth and maneuvering. Though at this point I can use those without wearing the things.

Anyways, under the clothes armor isn't really a thing without specific magic, which I don't have.

Frankly I'm not sure Em. I got this crap way back in high school from rumor bullshit. It's pretty much impossible for me ta figure out.

Pancake, Air, Lightning, Water, Fire are the primary dust types, then there's Gravity, Steam, Ice, and Earth which are made from combining other types together.
Artificially I've made Light, Dark and Psi Dust as well.

Oh and Kalib Hieroglyphein is a light magic spell. It deals based on how strong the casting Persona is and Michael's really freaking strong so yeah you'd likely die if I hit full on.

*In the empty training room, a large sword can be seen on a rack to the left side. This large mid-grey colored metal sword has a large grip, meaning it can be easily two-handed. The sword has a rounded end, and the hilt has two buttons on the side, and a trigger on the bottom.*

*The chainsaw returns inward and the blade turns back to normal. From the end of the hilt with the trigger, the end opens up, and a gun barrel pops out. Next to the trigger, another compartment opens up.
Em hands Tatsu a magazine.*

*His grins turns ever wider as he pops in the mag then takes aim at a dummy's chest and blazes away at it*

You're pretty damn strong, so the top heavy weight of the blade doesn't seem to break your grip or impair accuracy too hard.. Lucky for me, I don't have to shrink the blade down again.
