Personally, a channel of pure rp is a bit much. Plus, there's always the chance to put talk threads like you did. And also, a huge chunk of discussion happens in PMs as is.

The issue is always the same, It's not the fault of TO itself. It's that nobody keeps conversation of discussion threads going. Another point as that not nearly enough discussion threads are made in general which I have tried to amend on another account and had some success but that success never lasts long as the amount of people who respond and have conversations always dwindles. Another point is that the Pms and Discord have somewhat taken the place of discussion threads as they are easier means of communication.

I've suggested a subforum for RP in the past just because I like RP as it is right now, and also feel bad for the non-RP folks who have kinda fled to the PM service instead.

But a mod shows up every time and shoots the idea down. Mishimadmin likes the chaos.

I've tried having actual discussions but they never last.

We've already said it before. No separate RP sections, or separate sections in general.

@Migrant, this isn't chaos, it's RP as far as the eye can see.

I think the issue is less that RP is stifling things, and more that there isn't enough of the other types of topics to stand up with the RP threads. I made a point about us as a community not giving enough attention to discussion threads before, but forget the specifics I used.
