Em's Armory: Back in Purple
*It's an armory. Run by a man in a purple hoodie and a light blue mask.
Em is throwing knives at a target from behind the counter.*
*Hibki walks in* Oh. Is this a bad time?
No, you're fine. Need anything?

*He keeps throwing knives at the target, before standing up and taking them out of the target.*
Just some improvements to this sword. *She summons her sword* I'm wondering if they would even stay after I put it away.
*He puts the knives away before fully turning to Hibki.*

It'll probably stick, although I hope you know there's no magical upgrading system. I can sharpen and readjust the sword, but beyond that I can't do much unless you know what you want specifically.
Just sharpening. I don't need much else for now.
Oh, sure then. That's 500Â¥ then.

*He puts his hand out, gesturing to the sword.*
*She hands over the sword and the Yen* Here you go!
*He takes the money and sword, and quickly grabs a whetstone and begins sharpening the sword.*

I don't really have much else to ask, I guess, so how's life?
Good. Tried out some of my new powers. They wear me out badly.
Oh, that's troublesome. Just practice a bunch. The most you use it, the more your body gets used to using it, and the easier it is to use it.
Fair enough. I guess that's to be expected when you just learn how to use them.
*Nobody smiles in amusment at Aleph's vision.*
Yeah. I had issues when I first started using Magic manip, I could barely use it without tiring myself out. Now I can use it fine... well, I mean if I could use my Persona...

*He hands her the sword, sharpened and ready to kill with.*
Thanks. *She takes the sword and gives it a few swings* it feels natural to use. I'll be going now. *She leaves*
*enters in*

This is the armory that Spectre comes to... wel might as well get some ammo.
Ammo? Gimme specifics, man. Whacha need?
I just need 5.58x33mm ammo and I've heard of this "dust" Spectre was talking about in Mothership Atlas.
Using Dust ammunition usually requires heavy modifications to the weapon, in most cases. It's very volatile, so normal guns tend to cause it to explode entirely inside the chamber, plus the cartridges are larger than normal bullets.

*He heads to the back and brings out mutliple boxes of the requested ammo.*

Here's this though. That'll be 1600Â¥.
*give Eme Spectre's Drakon sniper, M8A7 assault rifle and his Kuda smg and Mx Garand rifle with 56.88 dollars*

There you go. And take your time on modifications.
Oh, you do want them modded? I was just referring to the cost of the ammo...
That should cover the costs though.

*He takes the guns and money, and sets them on a back table.*
*he entres in a quick flash of light*

Sorry about that I was just fixing some things back at home. And yes modificatiom to use dust is viable.
*Shows up, weapon in hand.*

Em!? You here!?
*Walks in behind Miggy*
Let's fucking do this Em
*Em is out back in the training grounds. Behind him are an assortment of weapons.*

Yo! Over here!
*Walks up and looks at the assortment*
Nice selection you got....
*Heads out back where the voice is coming from.*

Oh.... so here you are.
I suppose you might want the low-down on the training.
Rather than simply work on your physical capabilities, I want to work on the mental part of battle.

*Em picks up a small dagger from the assortment of weapons.*

Let's say I'm a regular hooligan, ready to mug ya'. I want you to do your best to fight me off. You get extra points for style. You game?
I'll let Miggy go first. I wanna see what she does so I can give some tips!
Is that all I have to do? Really?
Oh don't worry, this is just the beginning. You'll understand in time.

*Em readies himself to strike, clearly going for a stab.*

Tell me when you're ready.
You got this Miggy! No sweat!
*Draws out her rapier*

Ready....
Alright then.

*Em begins running towards her, and pushes the dagger forward towards her stomach region.*
*Remembers from last time that trying to grab Em is a recipe for disaster. So instead relies on her greater reach, slashing at Em hopefully before he gets close enough to attack.*
*Em barely has time to block the strike, but after her swing is finished, he goes in for another strike, this time a slash across the chest region.*
*Mig isn't fast enough to pull back and defend, so instead just jumps backwards to put distance back between them.*
*As she jumps backwards, the slash doesn't connect, but Em uses the miss to wind up for another slash in the other direction, which he promptly proceeds with.*
*Mig uses the miss as well, able to get her weapon in position to catch the reverse-slash. Attempting to use momentum to force the knife out of Em's hand!*
*Her plan proceeds as intended, and the dagger goes flying across the room.
He returns to a normal stance and claps.*

Well done, well done. To a scale of 100, I'd rate that a 67.
Isn't that usually a failing grade?

*it's a 100 scale, not a school scale.*
If say that's a 75 at least...
No, it's technically passing, but barely.
So, can you tell me why that's your score? I suppose a better question is...
How many of your actions were something you thought through, rather than just a reaction?
I suppose only the first one was really planned.... after that I was just improvising....
See, there's your issue. You need to think out every action, at least a little. And if you can't think in the moment, plan beforehand.
So, ready for round 2? I won't be acting this time. Let's see how you do against me when I'm serious. I'll even give you time to think, alright?

*He readies the dagger in the same manner as before.*

Tell me when you're ready.
*She readjusts her stance and stares Em down*

Okay... let's go.
*The moment she finishes her words, the dagger is flung directly at her, square in the face. Em begins to make a mad dash towards her right after he throws it.*
*Had been expecting Em to charge, so the throw took her off count by just a moment, as she swings her whole body out of the way. It would have worked great had Em charged, but he may have time in motion to correct for her new location now.*
*Em, who had been running top speed towards her, attempts to use her dodge to pin her to the ground while pushing her weapon hand away.*
*Mig by this point was entirely back on improving, attempting to deliver a kick to Em as soon as she sees him coming in close.*
*Em switches his stance after seeing her take further notice to him, pushes the kick away with his empty right hand before kicking her standing leg out from under her.*
*Has no counter to gravity, and falls onto her back, defenseless it would seem.*
*Em laughs a little before giving his hand to her.*

Well, I'd rate that a 71 out of 100. Good reaction time, and some decent foresight. Unfortunately, with me getting the first attack, I end up having my plans go through in most cases.
Hmph, especially when you change your strategy up like that.
Why the hell would I use the same trick twice? That's part of the planning process, figure out what your opponent knows of your moves.
Now get up already.
*Gets up already* Fine, fine, here I thought I was supposed to bet he one practicing.
You are. You already improved over that first match, technically.
So, you wanna do some basic practice then? No complex strategies, just some average swordplay?
No, keep the strategies coming... I think I proved I know the basics.
Oh, alright. Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt...

*Em unsheathes his two longswords from his waist.*

You want me to go all in, or should I restrain myself?
This is how you beat me last time, so I'll be curious to see if I can stop it this time.

Go all in.
*enters in and waves to Eme*

Hey. Prophet told me that my guns are ready.
*He addresses Spectre.*

There's a large case behind the counter. That's it. Anyways, if you will excuse us, we're having a little practice match.
Anyways, Miggy, you asked for it.

*Em begins the match by rushing Migrant, with both of his swords to his left, ready to slash.*
Thanks Eme.

*opens the case and takes out the Drakon, M8A7, MX Garand and Kuda and leaves*
OOC: *puts on some rocky*

*Remembers from last time how tough intercepting two swords can be. And that going over Em isn't an option. Getting down would just leave her vulnerable. Going back puts her on the defensive. So her only option....*

Okuninushi! Garudyne!

*A masive gust of wind forms under Em, the damage may or may not matter, but she's trying to knock him off his feet more. Meanwhile, Mig assumes the wind will fail and also jumps back.*
*Em uses the gust of wind to jump high up into the air, before bringing both swords down Mig with massive force.*
*The only problem with Em's plan is gravity is generally a fairly direct drop. So Mig dives forward, hopefully getting enough distance to clear the falling Em and have an opening at his back!*
*Em sees Migrant dash behind where he would land, and once he lands he rolls forward, sheathing his longswords and opting to use the larger greatsword on his back.
After the roll, he immediately turns around.*
*Immediately turns around and is swinging across at Em's back. Not expecting the weapon switch.*
*Em puts up the greatsword behind his back to mostly block the slash, and then turns around to slash the heavy sword at her.*
*Naturally, the heavy sword stops her dead in her tracks, and she finds herself again on the defensive. She backflips away again, but knowing how tough it is to get Em to move doesn't follow it up with anything. She's already running out of ideas to turn the tide...*
*Em thrusts his greatsword into the ground, and begins throwing daggers at Migrant from inside his coat.*
*The greatsword misses, but now comes the dagger spam. Mig can attempt to keep dodging them but sooner or later one will land. She needs to find a way to get in close without some new sword boxing her out, fast. For now, though?*

Okuninushi! Garudyne!

*This time the wind appears between the two of them, catching as many of the daggers as possible into a freaking dagger tornado!*
*Em stops throwing daggers and picks up his greatsword. He waits for Migrant's next move.*
*Watches the tornado for a moment, trying to analyze as many daggers as possible..... before snapping. The tornado dissipates and the daggers start flying wherever they were headed. Mostly, in Em's general direction.*
*Em throws down his greatsword, and begins dodging as many daggers as he can. He manages to catch a few, and he throws them back as Migrant before unsheathing his odachi.*
*Just a few? Why Mig can deflect those with just her rapier. Feeling a slight shift in the momentum, she closes the gap with Em and goes for a stabbing attack!*
*Before Mig can strike him, Em suddenly disappears.*
*suddenly appears* hey Em, could you upgrade something for me?
*Em suddenly pops up at the counter.*

Sure, whacha need?
*summons her minigun and puts It on the counter* I want to make a drill out of my minigun, but still have it fire bullets. Think you could put a drill on it?
Huh? Um.... I guess that means I did good?
Sure. In fact, I even have an idea...
That'll be 3000 yen.
Okay. *Plops a large bag of yen on the counter*
Migrant, can we put this on hold, actually? Aside from having this order...

*He points to the clock tower in the distance.*

I'm curious as to what that is...
Yeah, I'm already there. Probably. Sometimes, I sense myself in multiple places at the same time. It's like the Nexus has this thing with time.
*looks over at the tower* Oh... huh....

Waiiiitt...... is that related to the clock from earlier!? Um... you take that order, I'll go deal with that! *runs off*
*Pops out of view, but is headed towards the clock tower.*
