Found a shiny Rockruff the other day. Accidentally pressed dual chop instead of false swipe on my Haxorus... Rip.

Still no shinies seen or caught. RIP me.

I don't really have any more shiny stories beyond the ones I've told. I found some shinies randomly and I've hunted for some shinies. Nothin' much more.

The only one I remember catching myself was a shiny Illumise in Pokemon Emerald. I later cloned it many times using the battle frontier exploit and sent a bunch of them into my Diamond game, thus cornering the non-existent shiny Illumise market on the GTS. If you ever saw a level 14 shiny Illumise nicknamed 'loo miss' then it was probably one of mine

I was trading with my friend who was new to the series at the time when he showed me a pokemon he'd never trade. He had a shiny shiny Minun, he thought it looked cool. Me being a jealous bastard who has played pokemon for years and never encountered a shiny told him that the different colors means that its a weaker version and that it wont do good in battle. I told him I'd trade him a stronger pokemon for it, Which i did! I gave him a fair trade! Sorta...anyway, I took the shiny off his hands. A couple months later he found out and got mad at me. Oh how I loved that Minun.

I saved the Minun from a life in the PC, I made it strong and I gave my friend a pretty strong pokemon for it so, it was all good.

Chuggaaconroy got a shiny Arceus in the sleeplocke with Marriland. I have no personal stories, but that's a thing.

Once I caught a couple shinies in one game, then my uncle sold that game for drugs.

On my Birthday, I was able to get two full odds shinies in Pokemon Platinum.
