Sure, just no major injuries, alright? Going back to the hospital ain't the best thing right now.

*He unsheathes his odachi, which seems to almost glow with some sort of holy energy.*

On you.

*Pulls out his shotguns*

Let's dance, meat!
Emerson
Alright, let's tango.

*Em slashes a card that appears infront of himself, and the faint signs of a being around him is seen, before he's surrounded in a green light.*

*Satan slashes a card drenched in blood, summoning a skeletal horseman, dressed in a black cloak, wielding a large scythe*

Be afraid, human.
Emerson
Heh, fear ain't exactly my forte anymore. I killed that thing a while back.

*Em begins running towards TDM, with a ball of light forming in his hand as he runs.*

*Satan empties his shotguns toward Em, and trades them out for his great sword*

You cannot kill emotion, it is a part of you!

*Satan rushes Em*
Emerson
*Em puts up a wall of hard light to block the shots, which shatter upon impact.*

Maybe kill's not the right word then. Perhaps... suppressed? I guess what I'm trying to say is, my other emotions are much stronger than fear.

*Em readies his blade to meet TDM's.*

*Satan swings in a low arc*

Then I will counter that suppression!

OOC: Why is it that we start these fights at 5 AM for me? It's always when I'm super tired and want to sleep...

OOC: Because I only open GYM after everyone else is done. I try not to steal people's attention. And also cause Em never sleeps it seems.

*Em creates a block of hard light beneath his sword, which pushes it up to a higher position, allowing Em to easily parry the attack and try to strike at TDM.*

You can try. But last time it happened, it pretty much went the opposite way...
Do you want me to level GYM again? I'm not sure Kalib would like that.

*Satan quickly steps back, out of reach, then jabs the sword at Em*

*Em puts his sword vertically to push the jab to the side before running towards him with his sword up to TDM's, then launching a ball of light from a hand towards TDM while then switching his sword to stab towards him.*

OOC: Alright, take care. See you eventually.

*Kalib stretches as he moves over to the firing range.*

*Kalib stands before the firing range and pulls his hunting rifle off his back. He begins to get lost in thought again.*

*Kalib returns to GYM after his visit to Joker's clinic. With a heavy sigh he gets to work inspecting the equipment.*

Check.

*After a few rounds of inspections he begins to clean the facility, waiting for people to show up.*

*Em pops up behind Kalib... again.*

Alright, NOW will you fight me!?

*Kalib isn't even surprised at this point.*

Yeah yeah. Let's dance.

*With a forced sigh, he begins to grin as he walks towards the back door. Grabbing his trident off his back along the way.*

I might be a bit rusty though...I've been...caught in my head lately...so maybe this'll wake me up!

OOC: I can come in since its a time skip right? I mean I'd just be spectating but I'm so lonely ._.

Hey, if you don't, consider it payback for the time you stabbed me. Which... I already kinda payed back in double...

*Em follows him to the back door, unsheathing his odachi as he walks.*

OOC: Times doesn't exist here really. Be where ever, whenever. And... I do tend to think of it as timeskips myself.

*Alice pushes open the doors to the GYM and steps inside, venting a little on her way in no matter the outcome of her exam.*

Hmph, quacks think they know everything. I'm sure seeing a good match will soothe me.

Yeah...still kind of a sore spot...how could I let my own emotions get the- you know what? None of that matters. Right now it's a fight between me and you. Nothing else matters other than a no holds barred sparring match.

*He spins his trident around himself as his eyes glow with flame.*

I'm ready when you are!
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Right on time, Raidou and Gouto walk. Raidou pays for and grabs his usual drink, and takes a seat at the bar. Gouto jumps onto the bar as usual, and wags his tail.]

Nice to see you three again, I''m guessing something is about to go down between those two?
Emerson
*Em readies himself for the time of his life.*

Reminder Kalib, you did it once, I did it TWICE. I'm winning this failure competition, thank you very much.

*She turns her attention to Raidou and Gouto.*

Yes. Actually, you two are just in time! Em and Kalib are about to have a manly duel of honor. I think that's how these fights go around here?

[Raidou shrugs and sips his drink, offering a second one he grabbed from the fridge to Alice.]

Well then...we'll see what this battle shows us about our shortcomings then!

*He slams the butt end of his trident into the ground.*

Leonidas! SPARTAN ROAR!

*In a flash of flame, Leonidas appears with a mighty roar that shakes the ground. Kalib is then coated in a multicolored light. ATK/DEF/SPD up!*

Don't hold back. I know I won't!

*She'd wave her hand to dismiss the kind gesture.*

Oh! Uhm, no thank you Raidou. Not today at least.
Emerson
Hey, you finally lead with it! I'm impressed!
Saul, Masukukaja me, please.

*Saul faintly appears around Em as he gains a green glow around him, before fading away.
Em readies himself to run.*

[He picks up on the hint, but decides not to pry. He sets the drink back on the bar, leaving it within Alice's reach just in case.]

*Kalib dashes forward with increased speed. As he approaches Em, he slides across the ground on his right side, attempting the slash the back of his legs as he slides past.*
Emerson
*Em forms a block of hard light beneath himself, causing Kalib's spear to be caught inside of it before hitting him.*

Reminder that you're not the only one with increased speed right now.
Speaking of increases... Saul, gimme a Matarukaja.

*After jumping off the block away from Kalib, Saul faintly appears around Em before fading away, leaving a red aura around him.*

*Kalib grins as he stands.*

True true. I won't say I expected that move to work.

*He tears his trident out of the light.*

Guess I gotta switch it up.

*With a grin, he puts his trident on his back in favor of his hunting rifle. He brings the gun up and stares down the scope, homing in on Em's right knee. He pulls the bolt back and prepares for the shot.*

Target locked.

*He releases the safety and his finger hovers over the trigger, ready to pull at a moment's notice.*

FIRE!

*He pulls the trigger as he speaks, the casing getting ejected as the firing mechanism discharges the bullet at high speed.*
Emerson
*Em puts up a somewhat thick wall of hard light to block the bullet. It doesn't stop it, but it gives him enough time to dodge out of the way.*

Oh, so we're bringing out the heat now, are we?

*A mask appears on Em's face before he rips it off, summoning Samson behind himself.*

Alright, Charge up, Sammy. We've got work to do...

*Samson begins charging behind Em, while he stands ready to deflect incoming attacks.*

Good! I didn't think this'd be easy!

*He reloads his rifle and puts it on his back, grabbing his trident once more.*

Leonidas, with me! Brave Blade!

*The spartan appears behind Kalib with a roar as the two of them dash towards Em. Kalib and Leonidas both lead with feints to his right shoulder and left leg, and instead prepare to strike at his left shoulder and right leg.*
Emerson
*Samson finishes charging, and moves to protect Em from both attacks, dealing some good damage to it.*

Use your aggressive feelings, Kalib. Let the hate flow through you...
Let us Wage War!

*Samson releases a wave of red energy towards Kalib and Leonidas, which has a medium chance of causing Anger.*

*Kalib clutches at his head.*

No! NO!

*He goes silent and looks up at Em, a murderous glint in his eyes.*

You asked for it, asshole!

*Kalib roars in unbridled rage and looses a volley of slashes at Em. His strikes leading into the next in a beautiful dance of fiery rage.*

*Kalib is promptly tossed across the battlefield by the strike, slowing down as he tumbles across the dirt. He lays motionless for a moment before rising, half of his face covered in blood and fury in his eyes.*

Yes. YES! MORE! LET ME HURT YOU MORE!

*Kalib begins charging across the field.*

OOC: Also holy shit, status ailments. Here I thought they were merely a figment of my imagination.

Tsk, not done, are you?

*Samson fades back into his face, before the mask that just appeared fades away. In front of him, he smashes a card that appears.*

Saul, I'm in need of assistance. Let's show this raging fool the light!

*Saul fully appears around Em, and a beam of light focuses in on Kalib before fully forming into a beam of pure Bless magic.*

OOC: Not many people use them. I figured why not and threw a very fitting one onto Samson.

*Kalib pauses for a moment.*

Huh? What's going on?

*He looks up at the beam of holy light.*

Motherfu-

*In a flash, Kalib is engulfed by the beam until it subsides. As the beam fades, Kalib can be seen struggling to stand.*

A..alright....you win this one...

*Kalib drops to the ground.*

*Alice grins, seemingly satisfied with the conclusion of that fight. Should Raidou and Gouto still be nearby she'd address them.*

Isn't the light so graceful? I'm so glad I'm not the only one who uses it as their weapon.

*Em sheathes his sword and unsummons Saul, then walks over to Kalib proudly.*

Well, you may totally beat me in raw strength, but I've got my versatility!
And, uh, resisting and/or nulling your magic. Yeah, that helps a lot actually...

*Em summons Saul around himself, and in a few seconds a healing wave washes over the two of them.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou is stoic as always and simply nods, but Gouto seems enamored with the light.]

Gotta say, it is pretty, I could watch it all day.
Emerson
*Em makes a little fireworks show made of light and heard light around himself.*

Yeah, this is pretty nice stuff to work with...
Still, I do wish I had more. In fact, that's part of the reason I wanted to fight Kalib again.

*Kalib stands dizzily, and quickly stables himself. Smiling widely.*

You got a point there!

*He looks down at his hand and makes a fist.*

But I'm not good enough yet...how can I make my dream come true if I can't use other elements....I'm still too weak....

*Kalib blinks in surprise.*

I want to learn more magic, just like you do. I already have an affinity for Darkness, and I want to explore it.

*Kalib pauses for a moment before speaking.*

Well...I don't know how I can help with that...the only time I ever "taught" magic was when I helped Saul become more than a Navigation-Type Persona.

Eh, I figure it's somewhere inside me already. I just need a feel for it. And who else to go to than someone who uses Curse already?

*Kalib brings a hand to his chin.*

[Raidou stands up and stretches, looking ready to throw down himself. Gouto notices this.]

You look kind of excited Raidou, guess you haven't gotten in a scuffle in a few days so it makes sense.

Er, well, I haven't used it before. But, if I had to think of something... sadness seems like the best bet to me.
What's it like for you?

*Alice isn't one to let a chance like this pass her by. Even if she often considers herself a weakling she could always pick up a few new tricks.*

You know Raidou, I wouldn't mind trying my luck with you in a fight. I've only really had one real duel my entire time here but... There's room for improvement, no?

[He smiles at Alice and nods, taking her up on the offer she made before. he gestures for her to follow him to the arena floor and goes there himself.]
Arisu
*Alice blinks a few times. She wasn't too sure he'd even accept so its a surprise to her. She's not one to keep her opponent waiting so she hurries to the arena after Raidou.*
Emerson
*Notices Raidou and Alive walk out onto the battleground.*

Oh, you two up next? It's fine, this can wait.
Take care, and don't kill each other too badly. Toodles.

*Em walks out of GYM.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou arrives in the arena, nodding to Em as he walks by. He turns to Alice and draws his sword and gun. Wanting to be polite, he holds one of his silver tubes out, as if to ask if she was okay with him using demon allies.]
Arisu
*Alice waves Emerson off, taking his side of the arena.. Being a persona user she preemptively calls down Seraph, a ray of light shining down upon her as the six-winged, angelic figure descends. Whereas last time it would have handed Alice a spear, she's taken Tatsuya's advice and given magic manipulation a shot. As her element is bless, a spear made entirely of bright light is materializes and is given to her.*

Oh that's right you work a little differently. Well I'm basically useless if I can't use my persona so its only fair that you can use your allies too.
Raidou Kuzunoha
[He nods, throwing his cloak over his shoulders, as he usually does during combat situations. He clutches the tube in his hand, and with a burst of green light Tsuchigumo appears. He pets the spider's head fondly, it seems like Raidou is especially close with this demon. He turns to Alice, with a fierce look in his eye and extends a hand to her. He seems to be giving her the first move.]

*Alice shudders a little at the sight of the demon. She's not one for spiders clearly but she doesn't ignore the gesture and understands what Raidou intends to convey.*

R-right... Seraph, start off slow. Flash of Light!

*The ability used is... essentially just that! Seraph gives off a blinding flash in the hopes of disorienting and temporarily blinding Raidou or his demon if it can be affected.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Caught off guard, Raidou gasps in surprise as his vision is covered and the blindingly white light burns his eyes. He turns to wipe his eyes and restore his vision leaving him wide open. Tsuchigumo however is unaffected by the light. Seemingly reading it's master's mind, it leaps between the two combatants hoping to shield Raidou from any incoming attacks.]

*Having gained the advantage Alice grins. She lets go of the spear as its begun to levitate in front of her, holding her hands out as Seraph mimics her movements.*

Hahah! I knew before Emerson even commented on it, but dealing direct damage isn't the only way to turn the tide. With me Seraph!

*Her hands being raised into the air, the spear of light rises just above her head before being aimed forward. She'd then thrust her hands, Seraph doing the same as the spear flies forward and hits Tsuchigumo as it was in the way of the attack.*

*Kalib leans against the building as he looks on in awe.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Tsuchigumo takes the hit hard, and drops to it's belly with a thud. Raidou finally regains his vision, and sees his friend heavily injured. The boy gets visibly angry, gritting his teeth as he calls the demon back to it's tube and simultaneously drawing another one. Though it will take a minute, a new demon is on the way. In the meantime, Raidou leaps backwards, taking pot shots at the two with his revolver, hoping to play his apparent range advantage to it's fullest.]

*Alice has proven her lack of physique before, it becoming apparent yet again as she avoids a few but not all of them. A few injuries sustained but nothing major, she bides her time.*

Alright then. Nothing we can't handle. Seraph start charging.

*Alice, her moment of respite granted as Raidou has to bring out his next demon, concentrates intently. This is shown as a dim light appears in Seraph's hand and slowly grows brighter.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Wanting to prevent a charged attack at any cost, Raidou charges at Alice, grinding his sword along the ground as he runs. As he runs, his demon finished summoning and out pops Cerberus. The lion, dog, thing wastes no time as it runs alongside Raidou to hopefully stop the attack.]
Arisu
*She has no choice but to break her focus lest she get charged down... and that is no good. Now that she's free to react, she takes into consideration her physical frailness and makes a tactical decision that, although won't prevent any sort of damage, will hopefully try to minimize it.*

Damn you guys and your huge swords! Hmm... Seraph, Megidolaon!

*Seraph points, not directly at Raidou, but in fact a short distance in front of Alice. She'd get caught in the outer reaches of the blast as a result but this should hopefully prevent Raidou from connecting, or at least punish him if he tries to, his attack.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou reacts fast, leaping to the left and telling Cerberus to back off. Unfortunately, the demon doesn't seem to trust Raidou fully, and doesn't jump back fully, subsequently taking a good amount of damage to it's face before it jumps back for real. At this point any hit could take Cerberus down.]

*Alice isn't doing too well herself after the risky move. She'd step back, stumbling and nearly falling if Seraph didn't quickly descend and steady her.*

I have to say, that was kind of unexpected. Seraph let's rest a moment...

*As she says this, a warm, but rather dim, ray of light descends upon her and eases her pain. It wasn't a full recovery as the marks that were left after the Megidolaon are gone but the shots Raidou landed are still there.*
Migrant
*wanders in and sits down to watch the fight. *
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou sees an opening and takes it, charging with the injured Cerberus. He leaps into the air, and a light surrounds him and the demon. The demon calls out in a human voice.]

Yeah! Fire in the nexus!

[With that, Raidou's sword is set ablaze as he spins through the air while falling. During this attack however, Cerberus is left standing completely still, and significantly more worn out than before.]

*Alice weighs her options once more as Raidou closes in on her. Ultimately she averts the majority of her attention from him to focus on Cerberus, which has proven to be quite the thorn in her side thus far.*

That's enough out of you! Seraph, do what we do best!

*Leaving Alice to fend for herself, Seraph calls down a pillar of light upon Cerberus. It was clearly Kougaon. As for Alice, she couldn't really ascertain the best way to approach this attack so she merely tries her best to dive out of the way, most likely getting cut up a fair amount in her attempt.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Cerberus falls to his knees and loses consciousness. however, Raidou is preoccupied launching his attack, slashing at Alice as she dodges. Though she does manage to avoid what would have been a fatal blow in a real fight, she is damaged. Not able to leave his friend alone, Raidou chooses to withdraw Cerberus rather than follow-up his attack. This leaves him both occupied and wide open to a counter attack.]
Arisu
*Alice, close to her defeat, hatches one last plan that'll have to chain off a fortunate series of events. Struggling to her feat she notices Raiduo's withdrawal.*

*After how much trouble his demons have caused her so far, she intends to impede his summoning progress. Without warning she commands Seraph to release a flash of light in the hopes of temporarily stunning Raidou once more.*

OOC: Okay I can't let more than one typo slide. Feet* Raidou*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Without his vision once again, Raidou decides to forget about summoning another partner for now and leaps backwards. He takes a risk, and shoots his two remaining bullets in the general direction he remembers Alice being in when he could see her.]
Arisu
*Alice is able to dodge these shots with ease, grinning with delight. Unfortunately, rather than just praying they don't hit her or taking them to the face, this method costs her some time.*

Heheheh... Now is our time to shine. Literally!

*Seraph gets behind Alice and the dim light once again appears in its hand to begin growing. She's not as worried now that the summoning has been interrupted but has taken a precaution regardless. With Seraph being so close to Alice, it would close its two lowest wings around Alice. Should an attack connect, it'd have to wiggle it was in from the top or pierce the persona's wing.*

OOC: wiggle its way in*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou stands back and pulls a new trick. He pulls three tubes from his harness and holds one between each of his fingers. They all begin to glow, but Raidou doesn't just stand around to wait for this attack. Though one-handed, he charges regardless with his sword once again.]

OOC: Don't worry, we won't be seeing three Lucifers or anything.

*She had a feeling Raidou wouldn't wait around once he saw her charging again but she's at least confident with what she has at the moment. Relying on Seraph to hold strong, at least for one attack, the charge continues as the distance between the two closes.*
Raidou Kuzunoha
[The summoning finishes, and out pop three poltergeists. Though really weak, they are incredibly annoying. Already they're making enough noise to disturb the calmest of saints, and they attempt to swarm Alice and Seraph to break either the persona's defense or the duo's concentration. Raidou himself continues his charge, nearly within striking distance now.]
Arisu
*Alice tries to hold fast for as long as she can but, having accepted it wouldn't be a full charge anyway, has Seraph open up. The light the angelic being once held is now big and bright and descending for Alice. Should it reach her hands she'd unleash it upon Raidou but if he made it to her in time he'd almost certainly finish her off.*

I hope those ghosts weren't all you had! Although annoying they won't stop this!
Raidou Kuzunoha
[The weak ghosts just kind of sit there, swiping at Seraph's face and not really doing anything helpful. Raidou sighs and points his gun at Alice, but with a click he realizes that he hasn't reloaded. Without any more time, he basically says "fuck it" and throws the gun at Alice as hard as he can.]
Arisu
*The gun hits Alice on the forehead causing her to stumble and fall over. For probably the first time since she ever had the persona, Seraph would actually frown at her.*

O-OW! What the heck!?

*The concentrated energy going to waste and Alice now knocked down, she knew the fight was over. Seraph ascends once more leaving her alone in the arena with Raidou.*

Of all the ways to lose a match...

Raidou Kuzunoha
[Raidou sheaths his sword and returns his demons to their tubes. He walks to Alice and hold out his hand to her, and he actually speaks out loud.]

Good match, Alice.

[Popping out from behind him, Gouto drops the drink from earlier in front of her and sits down in front of her.]

*Alice sits up. It isn't that she's a sore loser but she's disappointed in herself for losing twice in a row now so she does have a bit of a frown. She'd still gladly accept Raidou's hand and the drink that Gouto brought for her.*

Thank you you two. I'm uhm... sorry I wasn't much of a challenge. I feel like I just kind of prolonged the inevitable the entire time.

[Raidou shakes his head as he helps Alice to his feet.]

No, in my eyes you were just as challenging as Tatsuya. If those charged attacks had hit me, I would have been in serious trouble. Really, I can imagine you giving any shadow or demon a rough time. Especially if you had someone to back you up at close range, Don't beat yourself up so much.

[Gouto looks up at Raidou, and tilts his head.]
You're usually not this talkative, Raidou. If memory serves, the last time you spoke in public was in front of this girl, to that ghost guy. What's the deal?

*After rising to her feet, a drink in one hand, she rubs the back of her head in embarrassment, with her free hand, from the positive feedback she had received from the three of them.*

You all flatter me... Thank you. Even if you deem my current state as good enough I intend to be more than just a glass canon, to put it bluntly. But enough of that, I think I've tired myself out so I'll see you all later.

*With that Alice bows and departs from the GYM.*

~~ TIME STUFF AND A CLEANING MONTAGE ~~

*Kalib stands behind the counter of GYM and lets out a heavy sigh.*

I wonder what'll happen if I open up early today? I don't usually do that...but who knows? Maybe people will show up.

*Kalib stretches his arms as he walks out from behind the counter and moves towards the front door. With a twist, he spins the sign on the door to read open.*

Alright...big smiles! No more being glum, it's work time!

*He goes to move but can't as his feet are caught in the ice.*

*He begins to struggle to break free of the ice as it continues climbing his body. Suddenly he grins and looks at the incoming attack.*

Leonidas! You're my pinch hitter! Make it count, BRAVE BLADE!

*In a flash of flame, Leonidas appears holding his weapon like a baseball bat. Kalib's eyes narrow and the flames in them begin to roar, he waits for the right moment to give the signal. And was the attack gets too close for comfort, Kalib gives the signal.*

NOW LEO! GO FOR A HOME RUN!

*Leonidas winds up and unleashes a hefty strike at the orb of nuclear energy, attempting to send it right back at Aitome.*

Well at least it doesn't hurt anymore... Hm? Raidou isn't this your's?

*She takes the left behind drink up in her hand and looks over to the man.*

*the blast of nuclear energy simply washes, over Aitome with no wounds whatsoever

Lets try this now! Tormention! Make us a maze!

*Aitome grabs his mask and slashes it with his sword, Tormention appears and claps his hands together and pillars of radiant ice appears, when Tormention is finished the arena is filled with spikes

Dont hit one of them now! They are extremely volatile! One miss and they all go kaboom!

*Aitome then rushes behind a pillar taking cover waiting on Kalib to make a move

[Raidou shakes his head, and gestures for her to take it.]

*He yawns and begins walking out* Ugh I'm tired, see you guys later but now I need to go home. *He vanishes into the night*

Oh! Well uhm, thank you I suppose Raidou.

*Alice smiles. With the drink in hand she crouches down behind the counter to place her drink on the ground for now before standing up. Once she did she'd address Tatsuya's departure.*

*She returns the wave. Its at this point she stops to consider her position behind the counter.*

*Turns her attention over to the newcomer. She whispers a mini pep-talk to herself before finally addressing him.*

O-oh right I'm sure you want an explanation. Well Kalib owns and operates this place and its main purpose is to stage practice duels between others. Right now he's a little busy so that's why I'm here!

*With a playful wink he moves behind the counter and begins counting stock again.*

*Alice covers her face, sliding out from behind the counter as Kalib takes over and an embarrassed blush consumes her.*
