On the doors of a certain school, there is a sign: "Closed due to flooding." Seaweed hangs from slightly-open windows. A pigeon coos nervously in front of the door, where a water puddle is forming. What happened here...?
"You can say that again," the nicobar pigeon, Aoi, mutters. "I just came here, and I guess the music room finally flooded. That doesn't explain the seaweed or salt water, though."
Instead of the normal hallways, the inside is a hallway of soaked, light gray stone. A green gem is on the floor nearby. The entire place feels almost like another dimension- as if it's the home of Shadows.
The gem is stuck to the floor. It glows when touched, though.
Going forward, the group comes across a large pool of water. The rest of the hallway is on the other side. Interestingly, the other side has a wooden floor.
"Agreed. I may be relatively new to this school, but even I can-" Aoi is cut off as something leaps out of the water. It nearly knocks over Hibki as it sails low across the ice platform. Its long, scaly body slides back into the water with a splash.
Underwater, the water serpent's tail disappears around a corner, heading left. The path it took goes through a tunnel, though; the labrynth's maze isn't restricted to above-water areas.
The serpent hisses in pain and slows down. It looks upwards and slams its tail into the ground, launching itself upwards while letting out a bubbly roar.
The serpent's roar wasn't just for show. A fish-like humanoid Shadow swims in front of the blade, getting stabbed yet blocking its master from harm. An eel-like Shadow appears as well, zipping around the human.
The humanoid Shadow is easily beaten, yet the eel Shadow- a Lightning Strike- isn't done yet. While the Zandyne sends him up to the serpent's tail tip, the Lightning Strike uses Ziodyne, hitting both the human and its master.
