A Journey
(In light of all the recent drama, we may as well tone things down with some relaxation. Plus, I just finished Journey, so... good game. Would recommend.)

You awaken on a bed of glittering sand. Two small, stone pillars sit on the top of the hill in front of you. You soon realize that you are wearing a red hooded cloak. You don't remember wearing that...

(bump due to "flooding.")

( too bad it's three am otherwise i'd have joined. )
Hundred-S
(Rip. Have a good snooze. And please snooze. You need good sleeps.)

(one final bump to beat the flood?)
Kuudere
*Slowly, but surely the child wakes. Kuu looks around, rubbing sand out of his eyes, and slowly walks towards the pillars*

W... Where am I? I don't remember seeing anything like this before....

*Hibki gets up* What happened?

ooc: late post, was in shower

ic: As he reaches the top of the hill, Kuu sees something in the distance. A huge mountain, with a light between the forked peak. Another red-cloaked person is at the bottom of the sand hill, looking around.

*Hibki walks up the hill* Do you remember how you got here?
Kuudere
*Kuu looks around, he soon notices Hibki. Kuu seems to be shaking*
I... No... I don't know what or why I'm here... I just kind of am... M... Maybe they can help?
*Kuu points to the red figure at the bottom of the hill*
Hundred-S
The figure turns around, revealing themselves to be a silver-haired young man. Hibki would recognize him as Aoi, although he seems more confused than anything. Not at all like he was in the Labyrinth.
Kuudere
*Kuu stumbles towards the figure, trembling and tripping over his new cloak. His voice is no less shaky than he is*

E.... Excuse me sir. C... Can you help me? I... I got lost and... I dunno what I'm doing here. D.... Do you know anything?
Hundred-S
He slowly crouches down to get on Kuu's level, although seems unsure of what to say to the kid. "Well, I don't know much... and what I do know is too hard to explain..." He sighs. "All I can say for certain is that the mountain way over there is really important."
Kuudere
*Kuu looks at the figure, by now he's almost crying*
T.... Then do we just need to go over there? I... I mean... What else should we do. R... Right?
Hundred-S
"Y-yes, all we have to do is go there! That'll probably be the way out for you," he says, giving Kuu a little pat on the head. "So don't worry, okay? Oh, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Aoi."
Kuudere
*Kuu stops trembling as hard, and tries to pull Aoi towards the mountain*
C.... Come on then.... M.... My name's Kuu. And... I... I'd feel safer if you came with me.
Hundred-S
Aoi smiles a little and takes Kuu's hand. "Alright then..."

The duo begins walking across the sand. After a few minutes and after passing many more of the stones, they come across a gray rock in sea of sand. A glowing symbol floats just above it. Scraps of red cloth circle it as if they are in a whirlwind.

*Kuu smiles as he lets go of Aoi's hand and runs off towards the gray rock, *
C... COme on. There's something cool over here.
Hundred-S
As soon as Kuu approaches the rock, the symbol fades, sending a strange light into both Kuu and Aoi. Aoi points at Kuu's cloak. "Hey, is it just me, or is there a little scarf now...?"

On both of their cloaks, a strip of cloth now extends from near the neck area. As some of the flying cloths soar near Kuu, a strange symbol appears on the scarf.

*Kuu looks at his new scarf and giggles, wrapping it around his neck before running towards some of the floating pieces of cloth*
T.... This is pretty cool actually. N... Nowhere near as scary as I thought it'd be.

OOC: sorry about the poof.

IC: Aoi! You're okay!
Hundred-S
The cloth seems to be attracted to Kuu. Whenever he gets close, some of the cloth pieces glow and fly near him. Aoi grabs one of the pieces and looks at it. "Magic cloth. Of course. And it looks like there's more stones up ahead. If only I could just fly to the-" Aoi is cut off as his cloak glows, sending him floating into the air. "What? Hey, it worked!" He laughs and keeps flying... but falls into the sand a second later, the symbols on his scarf gone. "...nevermind."

Aoi picks himself up and smiles at Hibki. "More or less. It's kind of a long story."

Wait, are you the god, or the bird from the school Aoi? And when did I make a costume change?
Kuudere
*Kuu runs over to Hibki and attempts to drag him off towards the mountain*

Come OOOOOn. You can catch up with your friend later. We're going on an adventure!! Aoi can even fly. Isn't that great?

It depends on which version of the friend I'm talking to. What is this place?

"Bird. I guess I'm more human now, though." Aoi then nods at Kuu. "Alright, alright... You can probably fly, too, if you have that symbol, Kuu."

The next rock has a grate in front of it. Some more red cloth floats behind it, trying to get out. A strange symbol is on the side of the rock.

*Hibki looks at the symbol on the rock* What's this?

A faint note echoes in Hibki's head as he examines the glyph closely. It has a strange energy behind it.

Let me see if I can tell what the note is. *He listens to the note trying to figure out its pitch*
Kuudere
*Kuu reaches through the grate, looking to touch the next rock. After a few fruitless efforts they attempt to fly over the grate using their magic scarf.
Hundred-S
The note's pitch comes easily. It varies each time it comes to mind, but still has that same energy.
Hundred-S
Kuu flies over the grate to the top of the rock. He can see a large building in the distance.

*He touches the symbol on the rock* Hmm maybe it's a button.
Hundred-S
The symbol does nothing... yet the note comes to mind once more. Hibki can't help but hum it. As he does, a symbol and blue aura appear around him. The gate opens, and cloth strips fly out, circling the three happily.
Kuudere
*Kuu laughs and starts running towards the distant building, waving Hibki and Aoi onward*

Come on Guys!!! We're going on an adventure!! No need to worry, you can fly!!
*Kuu flies forward a short bit, landing on his face, smiling and laughing the whole time*

Aoi pats one of the cloth strips before flying after Kuu, coming to a soft landing this time.

The sandy ground dips downwards , making room for the large buildings surrounding the "pit." In the center is a broken-down stone tower. The stone slabs littering the sides create a path upwards. At the far end of the pit is something that resembles a shrine, complete with a golden snake statue.

*Hibki runs towards the building* This is very nice actually. Just don't expect me to be good at puzzles.

*Kuu's eyes are fixed entirely on the golden statue, so he runs straight towards the shrine, occasionally tripping along the way*
Its so pretty!! I... I want it.

Kuu runs over to the shrine, but even if he tried to fly, it is too high up to reach.

Aoi circles the tower, muttering to himself. "Let's see... we could fly over if we went from the top of the tower... and is that another glowing thing on the side of this...?"

*Hibki walks up to the glowing symbol Aoi saw* Maybe I have to hum the not again?
Hundred-S
"Maybe... but this symbol dispersed and created our scarves," Aoi explains. As if on cue, right when Hibki is about to touch it, the symbol bursts into light. Everyone's scarves are longer now... and feel like they have more energy.

*After a few minutes of Kuu fruitlessly attempting to reach the shrine. He gets bored and walks towards the tower instead, grumbling the whole way*
I didn't want that statue anyways.... Maybe I'll find something cool here.
Hundred-S
Aoi begins to follow Kuu up the tower, using his flight to get to the top quickly. A piece of cloth hits him in the face. "Looks like they're here, too..."

*Hibki heads to the top of the tower using flight when needed* Now we can get to the shrine right?

OOC: Bedtime for me. Night!

*once they reach the top of the tower, Kuu looks at the statue in the shrine seriously*
The little scraps are everywhere. But I want the statue... It should be mine.

*Kuu runs to the edge of the tower, and tries to fly over to the shrine*

ooc: sleep time

ic: Aoi follows Kuu over to the statue. The pillars around it light up, and the statue's ruby eyes flash.

The party is greeted with the vision of a stone wall with pictures on it. The golden "statue" sweeps its tail across, revealing the image of a multi-headed black snake-like creature. Arrows and fire assault it, thrown by what seem to be humans.

After a moment, everything returns to normal. The statue sits in front of them, unmoving. Perhaps they should rest before going through the now-open door...

OOC: Understandable, have a great day.
*Kuu curls up near the statue, they seem exhausted*
Its... Its mine....
*yawns, and slowly, gently, drifts to sleep*
