Alright, I'll fill you in on what's happened. There's this mega corporation called Exodus that's supposedly working on better medicine, but they secretly work on experimental weapons in order to find and kill certain powered individuals here in the Nexus. Kage and I ended up finding out during an assassination attempt of the Mayor that they're still active. I thought I had killed their CEO and put it to an end, but it looks as though I was wrong.
*After a few minutes, the elevator door finally opens, revealing a pristine hallway with a marble floor that gleams from the lights above. Potted plants line the hallway, like a stereotypical big business would have. Like the secretary said, the hall has wood double doors at the end*
*Shiza walks out of the elevator into the hall*
Well, no time like the present.
*He walks down the hall and stands in front of the door*
*Shiza kicks the door open, shattering the frame. The doorway falls inward, revealing a bald man sitting in a swivel chair behind an oak desk. Four guards stand next to him, ready for any command*
???: Greetings gentlemen. I am Grant Winters. This beautiful building you've entered is Exodus Industries. What can I do for you two?
GW: Hmm. Believe me when I say that was slightly annoying. You cannot bury our effort, demon spawn. Neither of you can. You only prolong the inevitable: A superhuman-free Nexus. With that in mind...
*He walks back to his desk*
GW: This place will be both your graves!
*A loud siren plays, causing the doorway to become replaced by a large metal grate. The windows behind the desk depicting the skyline becomes reinforced as well. Two large robots fall from cavities in the ceiling, landing with a dull thud*
GW: You will not win.
*Grant flips over his desk, revealing a large gun and a pale blue armor. Equipping them both, he stands at the ready*
Follows Dahlia through. "Bout freaking time! Damn those doors!" Smirking I draw my Urumi. "Let's end these guys!" I run past the robots and jump over the guards to land on Grants desk right in front of him. "You look important, have a few beatings from yours truly." I swipe at him a few times before jumping back and standing with everyone else.
"Goddamnit no!" I rush to the window and look down and the guards. "Fuck..." Backing up I rejoin the group and bring out my time knife, and quickly slash at Grant with it. "Guys, next time can we not kill anyone? Christ, killing them makes us no better than the."
It's either they die, or we risk the chance of them inflicting more harm to others. It isn't much of a choice.
Grant: You seem to know what you're talking about, Caeser. I think there's more of a reason to wanting to destroy my organization than just our weapons development...
"Have you forgotten the fact that their is a thing called jail? We aren't above the law, and neither are they, but we will continue this after wards. Just don't kill him."
(Yeah) "Hit him with electric next and he will go down, but first I have something to do. Can someone cover me for a bit?" I quickly maneuver around the robots and come up to his desk and grab myself a USB from my pocket, then plug it into his computer. "And here is every secret I can get from your files Granty boy. Hope you didn't have something damning in your files."
Smirking I quickly grab the USB. "Too bad Grant. Surrender, and the police will maybe only get half of what's on here. Which is now also in the cloud." I jump back to the party and pocket the USB. "Just make it easier on yourself."
Grant: Heh, you're acting pretty high and mighty for someone who's only pocketed the business the public already knows about. You think I'm dumb enough to keep illicit files on that computer?
"No, but I'm betting you don't want my worm, which is now free in your system, to start mailing it all to me. You know, I love modern technology. In two seconds I can probably steal everything on your database. But you may still have time to stop it. If you can get past us and to another computer."
"Alright let's play that game then." Grabbing my laptop from my jacket I move to a corner of the room and start working. "Keep him off my back while I find everything he has, and boy it must be something really special if he's trying to hide it."
Looking up at the Persona, my mouth turns down. "You know, as both a Shadow and one without a Persona, I find the fact that this dimwit can use one extremely insulting." Brandishing my Urumi once more I guard and wait. "Use curse skills, that'll take him down again."
Riathamus: I will not obey one who is not pure of heart. YOU WILL FALL INSTEAD OF YOUR ENEMIES!
*A bright flash of light occurs, blinding everyone within the room. When it subsides, Grant is laying on the ground, paralyzed. The only sound that can be heard is Grant moaning in pain and the shattering of glass behind him*
*A booming voice is heard within the room. It sound melodic and like a choir of angels singing a song of glory*
I am Riathamus, my children. I am god himself. This man was a sinner and has faced judgement for them. If you wish to find me, look toward the spire of light that lights the night sky. I will wait for you all.
"... Well fuck. Another God." I poke Grant. "At least he's still alive." I hand over a USB to Shiza. "Find his main terminal and plug this into it. It'll only take less than a minute, then you should have everything you need to put him away."
