(Me: It's dead rn so I'll wait to do this

Also Me: *starts typing* Buuut I'm bored.)

A jewelry store sits as still as always at the edge of the sidewalk. Despite its "Closed" sign, the door is ajar. There's also the fact that another sign states the store should have opened a few hours ago...

*Kei is passing by when he notices the apparently abandoned store After inspecting the signs on the door, he walks inside*

Most certainly odd for a store to be this empty at this time of day...

Inside is certainly not the inside of a store... or a building, for that matter. Gray stone walls line the area. A few pieces of lighter gray wall are scattered here and there. They seem to be the ruins of an ancient building...

A large stone snake is curled up by stairs. One set of stairs leads upwards, and the other leads downwards. The stone snake's sapphire eyes gleam as Kei enters. Hanging from its mouth is a sign.

"Welcome to Labyrinth Drei! Lost treasures await inside! But be wary of the guardians of this place: the Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire Souls, who keep the balance in this destorted realm."

*Kei inspects the sign, and looks up at the snake's sapphire eyes, he keeps watching the stone snake as he heads upstairs*

This seems to be some sort of spacial distortion. While I have no eyes for treasure, it is likely that the source can be found within this... Labryinth. I'd rather not head in alone, but it looks as though there's nothing for it.

As he ascends, Kei is hit by a blast of heat. Scattered around are a few smoking mounds of earth. Up ahead is a half-destroyed stone-building with glowing red streaks. Multiple gems, such as topaz and rubies, decorate its walls.

*Kei raises his arm above his head and moves to investigate the mounds*

These must be here for some reason, perhaps the mounds are hiding something....

One of the mounds shakes for a second, then sends a burst of fire upwards. A fiery bird-like creature soars out of the blast. It chitters and glides back down, but the mound has already cooled off and closed up. It chirps and tilts its head before pecking at the earth.

*Kei steps back from the mound, before moving closer to the bird*

Excuse me, I take it you live here? Would you care to answer a few questions about this place?

The fire bird looks up at Kei and caws. It then pecks at the mound again in frustration.

*Kei sighs and inspects the mound more closely*
Alright, looks like you want something inside of there? Perhaps you need me to begin moving the dirt...

*a black shadowy bump gathers as a S.Yosuke pops out, looking around

Huh, what a strange place I wonder where I am!

The fire bird chirps and pecks at the mound again... but hisses and poofs out its "feathers" at the strange person's sudden appearance.

Huh? Feathers? Im friendly! I don't wanna hurt you! C-calm down!

*Yosuke then raised up his arms, trying to calm the birb down

*Kei fails to notice S.Yosuke's entrance and begins clearing away the mound, but turns to Yosuke affter hearing him*

Well, we seem to be in some sort of maze, care to help me clear this dirt? It looks like the demon wants something buried underneath here.

Just gotta clear some dirt? Easy stuff! Move aside gramps! Yosuke Tornado Drill!

*Yosuke then jumps in spinning as he slashes a card, summoning Disco Ninja Frog, he then casts Garudyne on himself, creating a strong tornado as he falls towards the mound, the power of the wind pushes aside all the dirt and digs into the ground

The birb calms down once the dirt is moved away. Small cheeping comes from within. Apparently, small chicks with tiny feathers that glow like embers are inside. The fire bird caws and flies down to the red-hot nest. It tosses a feather at the two humans.

*Obtained Firebird Feather! (Use for heavy Fire damage to 1 foe, or use it to ignite multiple objects in the area.)*

*Kei is distracted by Yosuke to the point of almost failing to catch the feather*
So, it seems you have a Persona too. Perhaps I should introduce myself more properly

*Kei stands, feet shoulder-width apart and offers Yosuke his hand*

Mm thats right! Disco Ninja Frog is pretty strong! The names Yosuke Hanamura! The Fresh Prince of Junes! Nice to meet ya Nanjo! We should talk business sometime! At any rate do you know where we are? This place seems kinda, barren to say the least.

Hibki enters, although all he sees is gray stone walls and two sets of stairs: one leading upwards, one leading downwards. A sign lies on the ground, welcoming all who enter to "Labyrinth Drei" and its treasures.

*Kei scans the room once more and adjusts his glasses*

We seem to be in some sort of extradimensional labyrinth that's occupying the same area as a jewelry store is in our world. I'm unsure of the cause, but its likely in here somewhere.
As for business talks, I may be able to get you in touch with my father about dealings with the Nanjo group. For now I have rather little sway within it.

For the sake of explaining the area to our fresh prince...

Aside from the smoking earth mounds littering the area, there is also a half-destroyed building nearby. Topaz, rubies, and other gems decorate the walls.

Hibki descends, feeling a sudden fresh breeze. The area downstairs is brightly lit and covered in lush plants. A stream feeds into a pond at the center, with stepping stones allowing one to cross.

*Kei sighs and moves to inspect the gemstones on the ruined building*

Personally I'm not too interested in the loot, more for you I guess. However this seems like a good lead into the recent surge in demon sightings.

A bit of cash never hurt anybody! At any rate demon sightings? Sounds like this could prove more to be more than a strange event, perhaps someone is behind it!

*Yosuke then pokes at the mounds, seeing if anything else is in them

As Hibki hops along the stones, he notices that there are some symbols on them as he goes along. Perhaps a closer look is needed?

The gemstones glow whenever someone comes near them. Quite a few of them surround what used to be a doorway.

...and all that happens with the mounds is that they nearly hit Yosuke with a fire blast. The smoking ones seem to be very volitile.

*Kei carefully draws his sword and attempts to remove one of the gems, using his sword to provide better leverage*

That is usually the case, Yosuke. The only question is who? So far my only real suspect is Lucifer, but I very much doubt it was them,

Well that's no good! The mounds are extremely dangerous! I almost got burned there! You find anything Nanjo?

The gem glows brightly. The sword's blade becomes red-hot as the other gems start to glow as well.

*Kei momentarily drops his sword and looks at the gems*

Well young lad, it seems that I've found some gemstones that are enchanted to burn anything that attempts to touch them. Perhaps it is a defense system of sorts? Regardless there's little I can do to remove it safely...

*S.Yosuke then slashes a card, Disco Ninja Frog then condenses a ball of wind onto the gem, trying to push it out with force

The other gems begin to light up one by one... Finally, the gem pops out. The newly-formed hole in the wall allows the group to see the other side.

Hibki soon comes across a building supported by countless massive pillars. The inside has pillars chattered throughout it as well, although it's so massive that it's hard to tell which way to go despite the open space. A howling wind comes from the left. Up ahead and to the right, nothing out of the ordinary is in sight.

Hehe! Nice going Jiraya! Lets check it ou-whats is that! Hopefully it's friendly!

*S.Yosuke then pulls out 2 kunai, holding one in each hand as he prepares for a fight, scrolling through some music on his phone.

*Kei looks at the paw, and picks his sword back up*

Remember, demons are usually able to speak. Perhaps this one can give us more information?
Excuse me, whatever you are. Would you mind answering a few questions about this place?

The paw busts down the wall so its owner can see the duo more easily. The lion-like creature shakes itself, flaring out its fiery mane. "...QUESTIONS?" It lashes its tail.

-Floor B1F-

The howling becomes louder as Hibki heads left. Suddenly, something zips by his head. The hood of his jacket is torn.

"Missed..." The howling dies down, and a weasel-like creature surrounded by a whirlwind becomes visable.

A Galeforce Ferret appears!

The whirlwind fizzles out the Ziodyne, but said wind disappears in the process. The Galeforce Ferret snarls and casts Mind Charge on itself.

Yes, questions. I was wondering if you knew anything about how this labrynth came to be connected to our world. Failing that, I would like to at least know who this realm's owner is so I can speak with them.

*S.Yosuke then backs up away from the monster a bit, trying not to get hit,

The lion huffs. "THE RUBY SOUL IS THE MASTER OF THIS FLOOR. AS FOR WHO THE RUBY SOUL COMES FROM... WELL, HE'S AN EXTENSION OF TYPHOEUS. I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET RUBY SOUL TO MEET WITH YOU, SINCE HE KNOWS MORE THAN ME... BUT IT'LL COST YOU."

How about this? It seems to be a magic feather from the birds in this area. Or are you looking for something more... Exotic?

"IS... THAT A FEATHER?" The Hellfire Leo purrs and bats at it like a kitten. It glows at his touch. "IT'S A DEAL!" He snatches the feather and roars. From within the building, something clicks, and a stone snake with ruby eyes approaches the hole in the wall.

*S.Yosuke then wipes his head before talking to the stone snake,

Um hello? Your responsible for this.. world in the jewellery shop? Who are you exactly?

So, I take it you're the one presiding over this area. Care to tell me more about how this labyrinth came into contact with our world? I've been investigating an upsurge in demon-sightings. So far this is the best lead I have.

Ruby Soul... answers with a combination of clicks and hisses. The Hellfire Leo clears his throat and speaks.

"HE SAYS HE IS A 'MASK' OR EXTENSION OF TYPHOEUS. HE IS MERELY A GUARDIAN, AND TYPHOEUS WAS THE CREATOR OF THIS WORLD. IT WAS CREATED THROUGH UTILIZING THE NEXUS'S NATURAL SPACE-TIME DISRUPTIONS. AS FOR DEMON SIGHTINGS, ASIDE FROM TYPHOEUS GOING OUT INTO THE NORMAL WORLD WITH HIS VESSEL, NOBODY IN HERE CAN LEAVE, SAVE FOR WHEN MORE DISTORTED AREAS APPEAR."

So then this "Typhoeus", your master, knows nothing about why these sightings have begun, he's merely another part of them. Can I speak to this Typhoeus on the matter? I believe he may have more information for me.

"...HE SAYS TYPHOEUS ISN'T HERE RIGHT NOW. RUBY SOUL IS TECHNICALLY HIM, THOUGH, SO TALKING TO RUBY SOUL IS LIKE TALKING TO TYPHOEUS. OH, AND ONE THING TO ADD: THE RESIDENTS OF THE LABYRINTH ARE SHADOWS, SO THEY CAN'T APPEAR IN THE REAL WORLD WITHOUT A DISTORTION."

There are five numbers lining the altar: 200, 95, 32, 11, and 3. There is a keypad to punch a number in, along with a glowing screen.

The altar buzzes, and the 341 disappears from the screen. A red dot appears just above the keypad. It seems that wasn't correct.

Excuse me? Can you ask your master to meet me in person sometime? I would like to know more about the nature of this "Nexus". Its come up several times in my investigations, but the only explanation I've heard sounds like a story some children thought up of.
