An old abandoned building

*a decrepit concrete building stands nearly collapsed, emanating a disturbing atmosphere. There is a door but it is rotted so much a simple kick could destroy it*

Makoto

*Makoto walks up to the building analyzing it. She walks over to the rotted door and kicks it open*

I wonder what secrets lie in this place...

*She pulls out her note book and starts to look around, analyzing anything she sees*

NotIgor

*inside is a room filled with pictures and filing cabinets. one cabinet seems to have been left open.*

Makoto

*Makoto walks over to the cabinet and checks in side*

I wonder what could be in here...

*She searches inside the cabinet*

*inside there are many ruined manila files; however, one file seems to be entirely pristine*

Makoto

*Makoto smiles as she picks up the intact file*

You're aure to have some information....hopefully..

*She looks back at the ruined files*

I hope those didn't contain too much of things important.

*inside is a series of photos and a handwritten document. Everything in the photos looks very familiar. A few of the photos are of a ruined building with blue crystals growing out of it. The others of a familiar long nose man posing with some other very familiar people.*

*with the building destroyed the files are all incinerated; however, inside one of the walls a safe is revealed with a basic keypad and a keyhole*

Makoto

*As Makoto reads the documents she is blown out of the room by the bombs force*

Agh!

*Makoto lies on the ground injured*

*Drawn by the explosion, Honoka rushes to the scene and finds the injured Makoto. He stands over her, not even offering a hand to help and smirks just a little bit.*

You alright there, kiddo?

Makoto

*Makoto gets up struggling*

Agh...that hurt.

*She notices the safe*

Oh...hello there.

*She gets up holding her arm which may have been broken and walked to the safe*

Now...how can I crack this open.

*She wonders on how to open the safe and looks around at the remanents of the destroyed building*

Makoto

*She looks at Honoka*

Yeah...I'm fine. Help me with this safe.

*the keypad has the standard 0-9 layout and has a three digit lock. the keyhole itself seems older than the keypad mayhaps it has a simpler lock too?*

Makoto

*Makoto looks at the safe thinking to her self*

Hmm. What code the code be. The lock can be picked, the real problem is the password.

*She looks at the destroyed building hoping to find a clue, but it seems hopeless*

Makoto

*Makoto looks in her note book and remebers about the tapes*

734...

*She inputs 734 on the keypad*

*the safe flashes green and the sound of a lock disengaging is heard. the keyhole is the only remaining lock*

Makoto

*Makoto smirks at the successful input*

Alright, time to pick this lock!

*She attempts to pick the lock*

NotIgor

*an electric current flows through the pick shocking Makoto's hand*

Makoto

Agh! Shit!

*Makoto takes back her hand shaking it*

That didn't go well...

Makoto

*The numbness in her hand goes away*

Ok, attempt two.

*She tries to pick the lock again*

*the current flows through the pick again*

Yu-Narukami

*Yu walks into the area looking over the debris before walking to where Honoka and Makoto are.*

Well, this place seems to be a mess. What are you all doing here?

*Yu notices Makoto's broken arm.*

Hey, are you okay?

Makoto

*Makoto keeps her hand there still picking the lock and speaks to you over the pain*

Y-yeah! J-just fine! Agh! Though coul-AGH-could use some h-help!

*she countinues pickingbthe lock*

Yu_Miakami

*Yu walks into this place*

The place seems to be weird here, It is an abandon place of course...

*Yu walks into this place a little bit longer*

*the lock yields and the safe opens. Inside is another tape and a blue crystal surging with energy.*

Makoto

Ha! G-got it!

*Makoto still visibly in pain grabs the tape and looks at the blue crystal*

Yu-Narukami

*You helps Makito stand.*

Maybe you should see a doctor...

I can handle things from here if you need.

Yu_Miakami

*Yu heard a girl's voice calling to help*

Huh? Where are you! i'll come to help!

*she runs to the voice and she found makoto and goes to her*

i'll help.

*Yu uses Bead to heal Makoto's injuries*

Makoto

*she looks at Yu Narukami*

If you wish, you can take that crystal. Other than that I can take care of myself.

*She gives a light smile through the pain*

Shrine_Dog

*The sound of rubble being shifted comes from nearby, accompanied by the panting of... a dog?*

Yu-Narukami

*Yu looks over to the crystal left in the safe.*

Guess, I should take this then...

*Yu grabs the crystal from the safe and observes it within his hand.*

Do you think this was the same crystal from the previous tapes we saw?

NotIgor

*Yu is overwhelmed by the crystal before passing out. He has a vision of many buildings being destroyed by a bright white light.*

Makoto

*Makoto nods*

I have no doubt about it. Before this place blew up I saw a picture with some building with these blue crystal structures. This is crucial to find out what is going on.

*She looks at the tape in her hand*

This tape must be pretty important as well...

Yu-Narukami

*Yu falls to the ground and passes out, overwhelmed by the strange visions coursing through his mind.*

Shrine_Dog

*As Yu passes out, a shiba inu appears from behind a destroyed wall. He dashes over to Yu's side and nudges him, whining*

*after a while, Yu awakens*

Yu-Narukami

*Yu slowly gets up grabbing their head.*

What was-Whay was that?

That light...what was it?

Makoto

*Makoto walks over to Yu placing her non-broken arm on his shoulder*

Hey, you ok? You passed out for quite a bit, what happened?

Yu-Narukami

*Yu tries to regain his composure.*

The minute I touched the crystal, visions started filling my head. I saw a bright light engulfing a city. Everything was destroyed. It was just like what the tape before said about the end of the world.

Makoto

*Makoto looks down at the blue crystal*

So, this crystal...this is what can destroy the world? Those pictures showed buildings surrounded by these crystals. We need to find out more about this crystal.

*She shows Yu the tape*

This was in there as well, maybe this may hold some answers...or just put out more questions...

Yu-Narukami

*Yu looks over the tap cautiously.*

Well, there's only one real way to find out about that.

We'll have to play the tape somewhere.

Makoto

*Makoto nods* yeah...

*She puts the tape in her pocket*

Well, lets get to it.

*a brawny man in an SS Uniform enters the destroyed building clearly looking for something*
*he gasps*
It's gone. Our research has been taken. I would have preferred to have the tapes AND the journal. This is good though, enough destruction was caused here to foster crystal growth.
*he quickly gathers some blue crystals and puts them in his trenchcoat pocket*
I've seen these visions too many times. I should be bothered by them.
