What's the point of living anymore.
Life is boring. I'll just be going through the same phrases every single day until I die. No one will ever want to be with me or even want to talk to me ever. I'm 16 and turn 17 in two months and struggle with being enthusiastic about anything anymore. I can barely even function on my own and will most likely never provide for myself. School is just worthless to me as i'll never have the ability to get up on time every day and work in a real job for 8 consecutive hours. The work is just too much for my worthless pile of flesh. It's not worth it anyways. Regardless of whether I work or not i'll still die nonetheless and any resemblance of joy or fulfilment I achieve in my life will be temporary, short-lived or meaningless. As it stands, I am just waiting to die. No one even wants me around at this point. I'll just spend the rest of my life making low-tier shitposts and playing videogames that I don't even like anymore because I don't know how to do anything else. God help me.

I probably can't tell you anything that you haven't before, but you can't just give up because life dealt you a crappy hand. You just got to live without letting yourself be your worst enemy. I've been in the slumps too(still am, actually). It's hard I know but sometimes the easy way is the worst kind. The high is going to steady and steep, and the low road is easy and deep, you just have to follow your path.

Oof, just noticed this thread now. Life will get you down, that's just how it is. But it doesn't always have to be like that. If you do your best, and try changing things. Your bound to find something your enthusiastic about. So go out into the world. Fall in love, start a hobby, join a club, or hell, talk to someone. Depression sucks. It really does. But you can only get out of the hole that is depression by trying to dig your way up. It's an up hill battle. But if you don't try, you'll never succeed. So do your best!

You are right, life is dull and boring, school sucks and most of what you said is right. This is the lot most people draw. If you want to die, wait until you are 21. Then you can decide for yourself whether you want to die or not. I'm not trying to encourage you to off yourself, but at least spend a little more time on this Earth before you go. Life is what you make it. Take the cards you are dealt and add a few from your sleeve to make a full house.

not to be a dick or anything but you need to shut up. I understand that life may be hard sometimes, as it is for everyone, but the fact that you can do things but choose not to leaves you better off than a lot of people. You're also 16 years old, you haven't even graduated from high school yet. What the hell would you know about life when you've barely experienced it? I may not be much better, but I know people who work their asses off just to put food on the table, not able to spend money for fun things, yet they try their hardest everyday to enjoy it. It's not life that's shit, it's your attitude. If you want to have a more fun and exciting life, make one for yourself.
