(The monitor Kaz checks is the biggest one out of many inside of the room. Most of the screens have clocks rapidly ticking backwards or forwards in time on them. While a select few of the screens are fully red with serpentine eyes on them.)

(Upon checking the monitor Kaz is able to see that some sort of code is needed to enter it. Suddenly an automated voice appears.)

Voice: Systems are currently malfunctioning.

(As if responding to this message a few of the red screen slowly begin to turn yellow.)

*Em follows the group, then turns around and pulls out his sword. He changes the cartridge, abd the blade glows White.*
Man, never thought I'd use this one. Let's go!
*He points the sword back towards the room they came from, and wind begins to blow out from the tip.*
That could buy some time, I hope.

(Both Enes hang limply from Kalib's arms and they stare at the floor with no response. They then repeat the message from the monitor.)

Ene: Systems are currently malfunctioning.

(However they add to the message.)

Ene: Two must become one before fate arrives.

(The tiny snake stares at the screen.)

Tiny Snake: The code is something that all the children of the Heat Haze want.

*a strange energy slowly gathers around Shinji*

(ALL the screens turn yellow as the automated voice speaks up.)

Voice: Code incorrect. Please try again.

(More yellow dust particles fall upon the group.)

(Both Ene's snap of their stupor and become hysterical with tears. Their faces have become twisted masks of pain.)

Ene: It hurts so much!

(They then whisper.)

Ene: Please make the pain stop.

(With the new code typed in all the monitors turns off.)

Automated Voice: You have reached the end of the path.

(Once the voice is finished speaking the wall of monitors falls backwards revealing a dripping yellow orb. The room around the orb is pure white while the floor itself is burned by the yellow material falling down on it. The orb also appears to be surrounded by some terrible dark energy.)

(Behind the orb lies a banner of Takane and a banner of Ene. Both versions of Ene on the banner have yellow eyes and it appears as if they are watching the group. The banners are also currently burning at a rapid pace.)

*He turns to the small snake*

That orb...what is it and what do we do with it?
Ene
(Both Ene's are growing paler by the second.)

(At this point they are having difficulty breathing as if they are suffocating on air.)

(The tiny snake looks at the orb with fear.)

Tiny snake: T-That is the object that brought traitor here! You must destroy it before it can kill my Master!

Should I... shoot the orb? Or like, Kougaon it?

What do we do?

*the power fades a bit*

*Kazuya takes a deep breath and places the small snake on the floor as he walks towards the orb, attempting to slash it.*

*The spartan launches from behind Kalib and the girls as he follows Kaz towards the orb.*

(The orb takes the slash and it appears to be unaffected.)

(Upon checking Shinji is able to see that the orb is directly connected to both Ene's.)

UH! GUYS! STOP!! That thing is connected to her!

Saul! Lets give this orb some Divine Intervention!
*Saul sets up Kougaon, focusing light on the orb. During this, En fires a regular bullet directly down the light beam, imbuing it with Bless.*

(The orb takes the brave blade and still appears unaffected.)

(Both Takane and Ene suddenly feel a terrible pain upon their chests.)

(Slash marks have formed on the both of them making their current condition even worse.)

(He is covered in severe slash marks and is currently bleeding out.)

*Tears begin welling up in Kalib's eyes.*

*A green light falls over the group.*

(Upon commencing the ha.ck Shinji discovers that the orb is the infection in a condensed form. All traces of the infection lie in the orb and the orb appears to be spreading the infection at a constant rate.)

(As the healing light washes over both Enes they are able to breath normally again. The massive slice wounds on them quickly fade as if they never exited to begin with. Their clothing is the only thing that remains particularly torn up.)

*He sighs with relief for a moment.*

Don't look too much though, Kalib.

Hey, Shinji! Got anything useful?

*Shinji looks to see how the orb connects to Ene's systems*

The orb is the infection, but since it's connected to her... Damaging it will hurt her....

*Kalib makes a pair of large dark blankets and covers up the girls. And sighs in relief. Before placing them down.*

*Shinji looks for some kind of system restore feature*

(While looking around Shinji only finds a blue thread glowing with yellow energy. The blue thread is currently burning and there is something ominous about it.)

Right, so what's going on is... This thing IS Ene, the infection has corrupted her code so badly that her soul has become the infection....

We may need to rewrite it from scratch.... or... I could do that.....

(The thread appears to have been cut off one of the burning banners. The part that was cut off is slightly burnt while the other end of it leads into the wall.)

(Upon examination Shinji finds that the dark energy surrounding the orb is practically holding the orb together. The dark energy is filling in for items that the orb has long since lost.)

*Shinji disconnects from the orb and casts a spell, gathering memories of Ene from everyone, then ha.ks into the comp and uploads the memories to the Backup Data*

Good, now use Ene's power to upload her power to the program I just created on your Comp.

*Quietly over in a corner, seemingly in a daze.*

I don't really know how to do that but...

*His eyes turn red for a moment as he touches his COMP. He appears to be losing consciousness, but after a few minutes, his eyes return to normal and he lets out a sigh of relief.*

*Shinji begins compiling the data to create an antivirus program, Adding the power surrounding him to the program*

*Exhale*

Right...

*Shinji ha.ks into the comp and orb simultaneously uploading and executing the antivirus, letting it do its work, rewriting the corrupted code and re uploading the memories gathered by everyone, as well as returning her missing soul parts.*

Please work....

*The power fades from Shinji as he becomes exhausted and falls down*

(Upon touching the orbs both of the Enes open their eyes and start to glow with a blue light. Their eyes lose the previously present yellow color as the orb itself begins to lose it's yellow covering. Once enough of the yellow covering has been removed the transparent blue surface of the orb can be seen.)

(Both the Enes become unresponsive as vast amounts of data begin to flow back into them. They are once again able to sense their of self as they see themselves through the eye of others. Once the recollection process has reached it's peak their eyes glow a normal red once red.)

(With red glowing eyes present Takane begins to fade away into the orb while Ene continues to gather information. Ene herself is slightly alters as she receives Takane's gas mask and pieces of her natural hair color. )

(Once the process is finished only Blue Ene remains present and she smiles at the group with gratitude.)

(He holds a his watch.)

(Kalib enters the same intersection that Ene and Shinji are at.)

(He motions to a screen showing the time and date.)

(He presents to the group a snake.)

Shintaro: If you do that then a snake will carry you back to the world of the living.

*Em examines the screen.*

(Shintaro looks at Kalib with pity. He speaks to Kalib with a much quieter voice.)

Shintaro: I'm sorry but if you chose your own fate then you will be unable to leave here.

(Shinatro think about what he say next.)

Shintaro: By taking your own life you essentially used up all of your resolve leaving nothing for the snakes.

(Shintaro turns to Shinji with a deadpan look.)

Shintaro: No you need to look back on your death.

I...was going to shoot myself in the head and then the ceiling collapsed...
To be honest, I cannot allow myself to die now, not until I achieve my greatest wish.

All in all...I'd say I succeeded even with that as the result. I don't need pity, but I appreciate the honesty.

Honestly, I just want to protect Nacci and Anna. They're about all I have in the world out there, and if they were subjected to something as painful as death...

(As Em stares at the screen she notices that the time and date appear to be stagnant.)

(Shintaro looks at Shinji with annoyance.)

(A black snake with red eyes appears at the intersection and approaches Em upon hearing his wish.)

(Ene looks at Shintaro with a pleading look.)

Master please there must be some other way for him to go back.

(Shinatro gazes at her was an unreadable expression.)

Shintaro: I'm sorry but what I just said were the rules for this place.

(Suddenly Em feels a stinging sensation in his eyes and when he closes he is sent to the real world. Upon opening his eyes he can see that he is back in the plain room where the journey first started.)

*After realizing where he is, he finds his note from before they died, crumples it up, and sticks it in his pocket. On another note card, he crosses out the old words, and writes another note on the back. Once folded in half message in, he writes, "To Kalib, once he gets home."
Em pickes himself self up, and heads home.*

*She walks over to Kalib*

*Hillock returns to the real world, but not to the same room. Because of the place he died, he is sent to the middle of nowhere, A.K.A. the sea. Rests of the platform still floating, he reaches to one of those, activating his localizer*

*He stops hugging her for a moment and steps back.*

*Kalib looks her in the eyes before hugging her again and whispering.*

*Kalib steps back and smiles, his face stained with tears.*

(Shintaro looks stunned for a second but this his expression turns warm.)

(He pats Ene on the head.)

Shintaro: I never though I would say the day when you actually liked someone.

(He sighs)

(He whispers into Ene's ear and then looks at Kalib with an unreadable expression.)

(He turn to looks at Ene.)

(After hearing what Shinatro told her Ene's cheeks had turned a dark red. Upon Shintaro's urgings she bashfully walks up to Kalib and looks up at him.)

Well here goes nothing.

(She leans in and closes her lips over his for a kiss.)

(She keeps her eyes open while the kiss occurs and the turn red.)

*She leans into the embrace as the two of them finally make it back to the real world*
